Villa Finikounda es una casa de vacaciones de lujo con piscina privada. WiFi 4G gratuito y Google Chromecast, 3 terrazas, un balcón y un gran jardín. La lujosa cocina-comedor con vista al valle está equipada con todas las comodidades y la sala de estar con sofá cama y vistas al mar y la piscina se encuentran en el primer piso.
2 dormitorios, 2 baños de lujo y una sala de lavandería se encuentran en la planta baja. Desde todas las habitaciones tiene una gran vista del valle.

Ideal house and experience

Our family has been coming to the area from New York City for years, and this has been the nicest experience we have ever had. Wish we had discovered it earlier. Richard and Diana are the ideal hosts. Everything is perfect, including the town and beaches.

Fantastic views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the villa. It had all the amenities that you would want and was very comfortable. The views are great 360 degrees and the pool so nice to slip into after a day of sightseeing. We did miss not having an outdoor grill but with the fire hazards it’s understandable. The village of Finikounda was very nice and so was Methoni. We found great restaurants with excellent food.

Great house, amazing location

I can't recommend this property highly enough. It is in a dramatic and beautiful location, surrounded by sweeping countryside and a view down to the sea. There are so many gorgeous beaches around, as well as a refreshing pool at the property. The house is so well equipped and the owners have an eye for detail. The kitchen is fitted out to a high spec, so cooking is easy and enjoyable. The hosts are helpful and lovely people. We loved it!

Great holiday home

We have had a great stay in Villa Finikounda. The house is situated on a hill top overlooking the cost line and has great views. The house has everything we looked for. A great living space in and outdoors and kitchen, a very good pool and down stairs 2 bedrooms. One with a double bed and one with 2 single beds. For our family of 2 this was exactly what we were looking for. The Villa had everything we needed including air-conditioning which was very helpful. Also the availability of beach accessories like chairs and sun umbrella's really helped us very much. Not something you see often when renting an accommodation. So if you are looking for a great vacation villa we certainly would recommend Villa Finikounda!

Thoughtfully well designed and furnished house, situated in a breath-taking outdoor setting

Spoiler alert: I am a person who mostly reacts when it comes to extremes, be they bad or very good. I never thought that bland reactions could bring any use for a review seeker. Villa Finikounda has the privilege of being located on the top of a hill, many miles away from traffic or urban areas. It has a steep access, which is paid off by the super landscapes anywhere you would look once you have reached the destination. We spent many nights watching shooting stars from the terrace. The owner had the inspiration of locating the bedrooms at the lower level, hence the coolness of the rooms dedicated to rest. Even us as adults slept every afternoon, can you believe that. The dining area merges with the cooking place, allowing us to spend lovely evenings as a family. Everything is functional, including pool, showers, doors, kitchenware, air conditioning etc etc! And believe me, this is quite rare for a Greek house... The Loutsa beach is very close to the villa. We used to park the car at Loutsa and then reach paralia Kantouni by foot (1 kilometre lovely walk, medium difficulty). In a nutshell, I think it was our best holiday in Greece so far. Well, it wasn't really "Greece", since accommodated in a house owned by a dutch, caretaken by a swiss, relaxing on beaches full of german and nordic people and dining at Zanzibar beach bar, thus served by a non-Greek waiter. Superbe vacances a Finikounda

Les hôtes étaient très prevenants. La localisation bien qu'un peu rock n roll sur la fin du chemin était très bonne. Calme et avec une vue magnifique. La maison très moderne complétait le charme général.

Fab Villa

Lovely villa, with great pool and stunning views. Bonus is plenty of cooking stuff so don't need to bring basics like salt and pepper etc. Restaurants in area and good value, and choice of beaches short drive away. Sad to leave!!

Full marks on all aspects - just superb

Normally I’m not the one to give 5 stars for a holiday home, but I have no hesitation whatsoever to do so for Richard and Bea’s fantastic villa. What. A. Gem. Beautifully located, with a lovely view over the bay, impeccably clean, tastefully decorated and so well maintained. Its central location is great for small trips to nearby sites, lovely beaches and cosy towns. Then upon return, you dip into the good sized pool and have a drink on the veranda overlooking Finikounda, its bay, Schiza island and of course the lush and lovely garden of the villa. If you have the chance to stay here, I would certainly recommend - I sure hope to return, possibly in a different season.

WISIWYG (What You See Is What You Get)

The owner of this property is a perfectionist. That means that you shouldn't look at the presentation of the house as advertising. What you see is what you get. I don't know who you are, so I will not try to convince you to hire this place. Instead, I will tell you about my vacation. I am an experienced house renter. First, on the negative side, when renting, I didn't realize that I had to drive and drive and drive to get there. The first hours are great, as you are on a highway, but then come miles and miles on bad roads. That said, when you get there, if you have a car that can cope with the steep hill, you arrive in paradise. And - if you are a calm person – you just stay there. Be sure to get up early in the morning, as it gets hot in regular times. Another recommendation, hire a boat and get to see and enjoy fabulous beaches all by yourself. Or, just let the car roll down to the nearest local beach, which has everything you need, sunbeds, sandy beach, and moussaka served from the local guy and his girlfriend who did a lot of carpeting since last year. If you didn't get up at six, your best time of the day would be around seven, when everybody gathers at the swimming pool and the sun is about to set (between eight and nine). The kitchen is the best part of the house if you like to cook. And the garden. The owner has spent hundreds of hours to make sure it looks good, and it does. After four days in solitude, my GF arrived. She loved it so much; we prolonged our stay at the house. The best memories? When we took the couch in the living room into it's sleeping bed mood and stole the owner's Netflix account to watch movies in the middle of the night. The second best memory was running up the steep hill that goes from to house up to the top where you get a magnificent view. Someone told me to rent a villa at Peleponnes as this was an area where not so many tourists come. This year, due to corona, that was so true it was almost sad. Restaurants and bed and breakfast lodges in the area were empty, but, I guess next year if we cope with the pandemic, it will still be true, that if you are looking for something out of the ordinary, and you don't need to go to a place you can brag about, pick this location. Btw, you've got plenty of hotspots for your Instagram Stories.

Finikounda: een uitstekende vakantiebestemming!

We hebben genoten van deze vakantieweek. De ontvangst van Ines en haar man was uiterst hartelijk. Het huis was top, met smaak ingericht, alles aanwezig in de keuken. Wij wisselen restaurantbezoekjes graag af met kokkerellen. Er was zelf een cakevorm 👍. Het terras heeft een fantastisch uitzicht en het zwembad is heerlijk. Erg verfrissend na een wandeling uit het boekje "endaxi, nee we wandelen liever." We deden twee wandelingen. Lastig maar heel mooi. Met dank aan de vriendelijke buurman en zijn vrouw die één van de auteurs van het boekje blijkt te zijn. We zullen niet vergeten wat endaxi betekent 😉. En hadden we geweten dat er zo'n mooie collectie boeken was, dan had onze valies wat lichter gewogen. Dank je wel voor alles!

Super Haus

Nach einer abenteuerlich Auffahrt zum Haus wird man überwältigt von der Aussicht. Das Haus ist super gut ausgestattet, es ist alles da was man benötigt. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Prachtvakantie in Villa Finikounda!

Zeer mooie villa voorzien van alle comfort en prachtig zwembad. Zalig genieten op één van de terrassen. Leuke uitstappen en wandelingen. Adembenemend uitzicht. We hopen zeker nog terug te komen. Bedankt voor de goede ontvangst.

Fantastische villa met mooi uitzicht en heerlijk zwembad.

Wij hebben afgelopen zomer twee heerlijke weken mogen beleven in deze inderdaad luxe villa. De villa is gelegen op een bergkam met aan alle kanten een mooi uitzicht. Doordat de villa hoog gelegen is waait er ook een verfrissend windje over het terras waardoor het ook midden in de zomer hier goed toeven is. De villa beschikt over een erg mooie en goed uitgeruste keuken, prachtige badkamers en ruime slaapkamers. Verder heeft onze dochter genoten van de hangmat op het achterterras. Het mooie zwembad maakt dit alles helemaal compleet. Ook onze twee pubers vonden het een prachtige plek. In de omgeving is veel te zien en te doen. Finikounda is een rustig dorpje, niet al te toeristisch met aardige restaurantjes. Leuk om in de avond doorheen te wandelen. In de villa ligt ook nog een boekje met leuke wandeltochten in de omgeving ( is even doorbijten midden in de zomer met 30 graden maar wel erg de moeite waard). Kortom: een klein paradijsje op aarde. Wij raden deze plek zeker aan.
