Si quieres estar justo en el océano, "Rompiendo las Olas" es la casa para usted. Encaramado a cabo en el acantilado, esta acogedora casa disfruta de 180 grados de vistas espectaculares y sonidos del Pacífico. Desde un cómodo asiento en la cubierta, disfrutarás de la brisa marina, el buceo de pelícanos y los barcos de pesca que traen sus capturas.

La casa se siente tan expansiva dentro y fuera de convertirse en uno con las ventanas que dan el "gran azul". Breaking Waves es luminoso y espacioso, pero aún conserva el ambiente clásico de una casa de playa.

La gran sala abierta fluye desde el espacio de descanso, zona de comedor, en la cocina y salió a la envolvente de la cubierta. Instalaciones de barbacoa y cocina bien equipadas para cocinar sus comidas favoritas.

Las puertas corredizas en el dormitorio principal abierta a la cubierta. Despiértate con vista al mar, rompe olas y las gaviotas llaman desde lo alto.

Los niños les encanta la habitación "litera". cama doble en la parte superior y completa en la parte inferior y vista al mar. ¡Así que nadie se lo pierde!

La playa está a solo 6 minutos caminando de la casa.

This place was the perfect peace and quiet that I had been needing. Everything was as described online and the process was seamless from start to finish. The added optional amenities were the perfect addition to my weekend of retreat. The sound of the waves and the view from the wrap around back porch were amazing. Increased by the deer that visited often. Would absolutely stay here again!!My only suggestion would be to have a slider on the back door so that guests can leave the door open to hear the waves from the kitchen and living room area without letting flies in.Also bedroom slider screen could use an adjustment to fix the gap that I believe let some of those flies in as well.

As shown in photos this cottage has spectacular Bodega Bay views - rock cliffs to the north; beach to the south. The kitchen is excellently outfitted with every device and spices, oils, condiments etc. Made making meals very easy and pleasant. Inside furniture is very comfy with afghans for cozying up. You are asked to tend to outdoor cushions on a daily basis, hauling in and out. The west facing windows give great sunset views but also heat up the house incredibly (west windows are not thermal and do not open) -- we often had to have the shades down at times when we would have preferred looking out at the ocean. We kept doors open a lot to keep fresh air circulating in the house. Beds & pillows are very comfortable. We saw deer outside nearly every morning grazing on the succulents that line the cliff and spied a bobcat out the front door one day, not to mention a large variety of birds flying by. The walk to the beach covers very steep incines, up and down, but the nearby public beach is a lovely place to hang out. This is a really pleasant place to spend time.

It's our second time staying here, and we will be back. We use it as a base for sightseeing from Bodega Bay to Point Reyes. Just wish we had a longer vacation.

A Stunning Slice of Heaven

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It's the best view you will ever have for an American vacation. Maybe you can beat it somewhere else in the world but not in the U.S. It's simply an AWESOME (proper use of the word) place to wake up. The kitchen is very well equipped. The Wifi is strong and the beds are comfy. The hot water works well and the toilets flush right. My only knock would be the outdoor cushions are hard to get down from their perch and the outdoor furniture could use an upgrade but with that view you're not bothered by much. The staff at Wine Country are very responsive and helpful. Had a raccoon get into the foundation one night and they took care of it quickly. Good people.

Dillon Beach and wine country

Breaking Waves was a cozy open floor plan with huge windows to enjoy the beautiful Tomales Bay, Point Reyes area, and Bodega Bay. Convenient to a lot of activities and Napa / Sonoma wine country. Highly recommended.

Calm & Cozy

While smaller than our usual vacation rentals, we found Breaking Waves to be most accommodating. This home is clean and very well cared for. Beds and pillows were comfortable for our preference. The kitchen exceeded my expectations with needed items and workspace. The oceanfront splendor - what can I say!!! We hope to return soon and often.

Wonderful seaside getaway

My spouse and I went here to get away from the heat, and it was a wonderful stay! The cozy living space and deck are perfect for lazy mornings sipping hot tea and watching the wildlife (many deer, hawks, vultures, quail, and sea birds). The ocean view is stunning in clear weather and in fog. The house is wonderfully set up with all the kitchen equipment you need, cozy bedding, and bathroom amenities for a great, comfortable stay. This house would be worth it just for the setting, but it's thoughtful setup and homey interior makes it even better. Trips to the beach are quick and easy, and the surrounding area has lots of great food and day trip options. This place is a gem!

The drive into the Dillion Beach area is absolutely beautiful, and it just kept getting better and better the closer we got to the property. We were greeted by 14 deer our first morning there including 6 fawns. They were not bothered by me standing on the deck watching them eat. The cottage is as pictured, cozy and quiet. Exactly what I needed!

Lovely Escape from the Sacramento Heat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved our stay at Breaking Waves. It was the perfect ocean front home for my wife and I and our 2 year old daughter. It was very kid friendly and one of the best views in the entire neighborhood. The beds were very comfortable with a variety of pillows to choose from depending on your sleeping style. There were a bunch of games to play and toys for kids in a toy chest in one of the bedrooms. The entertainment center was very easy to use. We were able to connect our phones to the Sonos system immediately. However, we really didn’t need to because there was already music playing when we walked in. Plenty of warm blankets and towels. Great kitchen, cooked some amazing pasta and grilled some steaks outside. The grill ran out of propane but there was a spare waiting! We saw many animals from the patio including deer, bobcats, pelicans, and vultures. The really high ceilings made the space feel incredibly spacious but the size and decor of the house made it very cozy. 5-10 minute walk to the beach and a 2 minute drive to the beach parking.The only things I would change would be having the windows and patio glass cleaned. It was really hard to see through. I thought it was just condensation but we found an old squeegee and did our best to clean off the windows and could see through them easily for the rest of the trip. The other thing I would fix would be the deck. The side gate to the bbq was broken and there were a few areas on the deck where I had to pay close attention to my daughter due to a few rusty nails.Other than these minor issues, this home was incredibly well loved and I imagine the family it belongs to has had countless cherished memories of their lovely seaside home. I’m grateful my family and I could create memories of our own here.
