On River Time es un condominio 2/2 bellamente decorado que tiene capacidad para 6 personas en Waterwheel Condominiums. Esta unidad tiene vista al gran espacio abierto de la hierba verde y ondulada, una gran sombra y una piscina junto al río a lo largo del pintoresco río Guadalupe cerca de la convergencia de los ríos Guadalupe y Comal. Hay un ascensor para facilitar el acceso a este condominio de 3er piso. Disfrute de la amplia sala de estar / comedor abierto. ¡Prepárate para las mejores noches de sueño después de un largo día en el río! Cada una de las habitaciones cuenta con una nueva cama tamaño king con almohada y un sofá cama nuevo en la sala de estar. Mesa de comedor para 6 personas y hay 2 taburetes en la barra de desayuno. Cada habitación tiene televisores de pantalla plana con cable y WiFi gratis. Totalmente amueblado y equipado con todo lo necesario para unas vacaciones maravillosas. Ropa de cama de alta calidad se proporcionan para todas las camas y baños. Este complejo también ofrece 2 piscinas, 4 jacuzzis, parrillas de carbón y exuberantes espacios verdes rodantes para que el resort se sienta como en su hogar. ¡Relájate en el patio con una copa de vino y deja que tus preocupaciones se vayan!

Great place

Our condo could use some updating, dryer didn't work, very little cooking utensils, one coffee cup, etc. But the location is fantastic and grounds are fantastic.

Great place for a family getaway....but....

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family has stayed in this property the last 4 years, during the week between Christmas and New Years. We like the location, in a quiet neighborhood, close enough to downtown Ne Braunfels. The Waterwheel Condominiums have a very nice open space in the back, adjacent to the river, where we enjoy BBQing when the weather allows for it. The grills could be improved though, since they are way too small. Downtown New Braunfels is very enjoyable with nice antique shops, and very good cafes, bars and restaurants. The apartment in which we stayed is clean, and comes with all the amenities as stated in its description, but it is a little run down, with a late 1990's feel. No complaints about the AC, hot water or the fridge...they all work fine. We do have two requests we would make to the property owners: 1) the mattress in the main bedroom is really old and lumpy. We could not get a good nights sleep all week. We tried rotating it and changing positions but it is simply very tired. It needs to be changed. 2) The TV in the living room is way too small for the size of the space. The sofa is pretty far from the TV so you end up with a very small image. It needs at least a 50" screen for it to be proportional. If these changes are made, we look forward to spending many more winter holidays at WWD301!

Great place to spend the holidays

Our condo was ready and waiting when we arrived on Christmas Day, with all the necessary instructions to enter the property and get settled. The apartment is fully furnished, albeit a little worn and dated. First the good stuff: it has a great view of the gardens and pools on the back. We practically had no neighbors so we enjoyed the quiet of the nights. Fully equipped apartment made it easy to live it and enjoy. The bad: furniture and appliances were a bit dated. We would have liked to have more cooking pans and utensils. Bed mattresses might need changing since they were visibly worn down in some areas. TV's were small, especially the one in the living room. All in all, we enjoyed the place, the location is great, very close to downtown New Braunfels and all the nice shops and restaurants. Close enough but far enough from San Antonio and I35.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Different furniture from photos. Uncomfortable and gave me a back ache. Called on dryer taking 6 hours to dry clothes. Maintenance came but did not do anything (recent shoulder surgery). Daughter visited and between the two of us we took dryer off (of washer) and discovered the vent was not attached at all. We cleaned out the entire vent ourselves and reconnected vent hose. Worked fine after that. Dishwasher could not clean basic food off even though ran through 3 times. So disappointing!

Great location for holiday family get-together

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The apartment was just what we needed for our year-end family get-together. Five families rented separate apartments in this complex and we had a great time. The outdoor areas are perfect for cookouts and weather was so nice that we would have used the pool facilities if we would have come prepared for that. The apartment was in the upper floor (3rd), and very quiet except for noise we heard outside from neighbors on New Years Eve. There is an elevator to facilitate moving up and down to the ground level. Walls are thin so you can hear everything that is going on in the bedrooms. The apartment was well-equipped with minor misses, such as no wine glasses and limited kitchen utensils. Cable service was adequate. The overall property is well maintained, but the neighborhood is not the best to walk around, except when wandering out the Guadalupe river banks. Check-in was a breeze, with detailed instructions prior to the date we were arriving, and very punctual on the day we got there. I am sure that the area is bustling with activity during the summer months, but we also recommend the condominiums for a relaxing winter stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros: Great location in New Braunfels and close to everything. Comfortable beds. Roomy condo. Well stocked kitchen. Nice furniture. Was everything that we needed. Great for our family of 2 adults and 3 kids. Cons: The swimming pool felt like a hot tub, the master bedroom smelled like a grandmas perfume in a weird way. Guests were so loud at night on the weekends. The walls are very thin so you can hear everything outside. The floors were not cleaned well with obvious spills of something. I bought some Lysol wipes to sanitize myself. The river is a decent trek, but manageable from the condo. We really enjoyed our 4 nights but may try somewhere a little more quiet and private for our next trip.

There are way too many pillows (we counted 50 including bed pillows and decorative ones), mold in showers and bedroom windows, curtains in master do not adequately cover windows, too many spatulas, tongs, plastic spoons etc. (not enough room in drawers to store them all), dishwasher does not work well, dishes are spotted and do not come clean. They have good cable service and the furnishings are nice and comfortable. Nice amount of silverware and dishes.

Mini Vacation

It was nicely decorated, the beds were very comfortable, complimentary shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion were provided. I was very happy to see a hair dryer as I had forgotten mine! That was a bonus. There was some trouble with the internet and they came out and fixed it promptly. The unit has a great balcony overlooking the beautiful grass, pool and the river. My kids were thrilled with the pool and how close we were. It was a very short walk to Schlitterbahn for those coming during open season. Overall, excellent experience! Would definitely recommend!

The biggest disappointment was how dirty the LR area rug and the bedroom's carpet was. Overall the whole condo could use a thorough cleaning. I was also surprised at how little supplies were furnished. There was no hand soap, tissues, cleaning supplies, and 4 hangers per closet. There were two blenders, one didn't work and the other made a "chunky" smoothie. Ended up buying one, so now there are three. The property management responded to us promptly.
