Esta unidad de tres dormitorios recientemente renovado cuenta con algunos de los paisajes más bellos y mejores actividades en la isla. Ver puestas de sol grandes de la gran terraza cubierta y disfrutar de lo mejor de lo vistas a la bahía de North Wildwood ofrecen. Se puede ir andando a los bares y playas. Una variedad de actividades de deportes acuáticos están disponibles en la propiedad (de pago). Tanto si quiere ir de pesca de cangrejos, pesca, o hacer un crucero en uno de nuestros barcos de pontones o decide pasar una más serena mañana o kayak paddle las bahías y humedales, grande 'en el agua' actividades están justo afuera de su puerta. Este apartamento es designado para hacer de sus vacaciones de verano fácil con una cocina completa y lavadora y secadora. Things to remember as you prepare: please bring all bed linens (2 king beds and 2 sets of twin bunks), bath towels and beach towels and gear.
Quiet hours are after 10pm-7am. We are in a residential area and have neighbors that are quick to call police for after hours disturbances.
Any use of illegal substances or illegal activity will result in immediate eviction. No throwing or dropping any objects off deck.

Could/should have been much better

I'll start with the pros. The owners, Bill & Megan, seem like very nice people and meet you when you arrive. The view from the apartment is fantastic. The deck is great with good size and nice furniture. The interior was very clean and well stocked with necessities. The big cons related to problems with the AC and finding a parking spot (the restaurant is very busy and the parking lot was full during the times it is open). There is no "reserved" spot in the lot as described in the VRBO description. Minor problems were a leak in the kitchen ceiling, a restaurant guest coming onto our "private" deck looking for a rest room, people from the bar smoking at the bottom of the steps to the apartment. Also, given the price, it seems linen service should be included. This place could easily be 5 stars, just too many issues for us, on this particular trip, to give it any more than 3 stars.

Beautiful view!

Considering the rental was above an awesome restaurant it was reasonably quiet. We had one parking spot in the lot that worked well. Everyone else had to find a spot on the street. The air conditioning broke but the owners had widow units installed. Never got fixed while we were there but the window units worked fine. With a few minor issues not worth mentioning we were happy with our stay. Sunsets were magnificent! Also the owners always responded quickly to anything we needed to speak to them about.

Property owners are wonderful!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The property owners were very accommodating and quick to respond to inquiries. The property sits on top of a restaurant/bar, which we were unaware of. Because it was off season, the noise wasn't bad and ended at 10pm. The vents in the property were dusty and need a good cleaning, and the shower curtain was discolored and looked moldy. Otherwise, the property was comfortable and clean.

Birthday getaway

Oh the bay views!!! The condo is bright and clean with a huge deck. Sadly the refrigerator wasn’t working upon our arrival but Meghan and Bill (owners) and property/dock manager Fra insured we had ice and coolers to get through until a new fridge was delivered a few days later (miraculous in itself as appliances are back ordered everywhere because of COVID). The condo and location are perfect for boaters, adults and folks who enjoy the walk ability to North Wildwood. The noise and hustle of being situated over a bar/restaurant (predominantly on mornings they were open for breakfast) was an easy trade off for what we wanted for our September getaway. The condo has some quirks but nothing that took away from our vacation. Many thanks again to Fra, Meghan and Bill for a memorable week!

We really enjoyed our stay

The apartment is directly over a restaurant and marina. The Atmosphere was enjoyable with live music and a busy outdoor restaurant. At no point during our stay was it too noisy. You could only hear the fun from out on the deck. It was perfect for our party of 4 adults and 4 kids. Our only complaint was they no longer offer take out food. This wouldn’t have been an issue but we have infant twins and two 2 year olds. We had planned to order take out several nights while we were there and had to make other arrangements. We ended up taking shifts to eat. I’m glad we did, because the food was great! We hope to stay again next year.

Plus and minus

Should have been cleaner (vents-gross, wood work, etc). Parking provided but a hassle. Kitchen very nice but short on utensils and basics like salt. The view is wonderful. Furniture cushions inside and outside stained. "The Surfing Pig" is a great restaurant. Live music was so nice to listen to while we watched the sunsets on the deck.

Excellent view and location.

Our only negative comment would be that the property clearly needs to be renovated. Toilets were constantly an issue. Furniture is old and needs to be replaced. The owners were very nice and accommodating however.

Great View, Great Property, Great People

Overall i give this a 5 out of 5 stars! From the very start when i booked it could not have been easier. Bill and Megan were super nice and accommodating, especially having to change dates due to COVID and then tacking on an extra day so we didn't have to go home to the riots. The views were amazing which went along with great weather. The staff on the marina and in the restaurant were so friendly and inviting. I hope to rent the same spot next year.

Girls Weekend

We had an amazing stay at Bill and Megan's property. The location couldn't have been more perfect as we spent most of our time on the deck in the comfy seats looking out on the water. The property manager Fra was the best! Anything we needed all we had to do was send a text and he was so quick to respond to us. We definitely want to make this a yearly tradition, you won't be disappointed if you go!

We'll Be Back!

We had an issue that delayed us checking in and the renters were more than accommodating! I can not recommend this property and the renters highly enough! Being on top of an amazing food spot as well as right on the water was a welcomed bonus that we did not expect! The place was great and we look forward to coming back again!

Relaxing - Beautiful -Sunset Amazing -

I must say this was one of the most relaxing weekends! Bill & Megan thank you the place was beautiful and clean. This was the perfect location for our boat and Fra ( deck hand ) who took care of our needs at the boat slip went over and beyond, Fra my three sons thank you and look forward to next August. The Surfing Pig Restaurant is a very popular place and now I know why the food is excellent! Can not say enough about this location we will be back next year.

Location!

My sisters and I had a wonderful time at Bill & Megan's rental on the bay this past Memorial Day Weekend! We were celebrating our sister's 50th birthday and we picked a perfect location! This place is directly on the bay. The large kitchen, dining area, and living room area are in 1 large spacious room with windows all around looking out to the bay with a double glass door leading out to a large spacious wood deck with lots of seating and cushion lounge chairs. Nicer than online pics! Plenty of space for the 6 of us that stayed overnight and plenty of space for family and friends that were staying elsewhere that came to visit us! You are steps away from the restaurant and bar area down below that serves excellent food and drinks - so very convenient! If you are worried about noise from that below, don't be - because the restaurant closes at 10 pm and when the windows in rental are closed you can't hear. Even when the restaurant was open and we were on the deck, the sound is minimal. The whole scene/location is phenomenal. And Bill & Megan have excellent hired help down below with the restaurant, bait tack shop and rentals for kayak, paddle boards and boats. Everyone was so attentive to our needs and always asking if we needed anything! Fra, their right hand man is great! As a self employed owner myself, this is an establishment that is excellently ran by hard working ambitious owners and I wish them both the best!

We really enjoyed our stay. Bill and Megan are wonderful!!! Place is clean!!!! needs some minor repairing which I could say about every place I have stayed. But it was very nice. Being above the restaurant is a non issue...actually, it is convenient. It is relaxing to sit out on the deck and take in the beautiful view. I normally book places on the beach. I thought I would hate having to deal with parking near the beach. I had no issues grabbing spots on the street right at 7/8th Beach every day. Parking at the house can be a little chaotic but the staff is so good about making sure your spot stays cleared and if anyone is blocking you they have them move immediately. Fra! Fra, the site manager is the best and is always looking out for the renters. We will look forward to renting again next year!

Beautiful property and location! Sits above a marina with lots of water sport options!

Beautiful property and amenities! This condo sits above the Surfing Pig restaurant serving delicious breakfast, lunch and dinners. Come back from the beach and enjoy live music at the restaurant or from the balcony of the condo! Beautiful sunsets right off the deck as well! Quite a gem in the sound side if North Wildwood !

Unreal Vacation Experience

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! As long as you plan for the parking everything else is just awesome. Surprisingly quiet, even during the restaurants hours of operation - the music from downstairs even helps set the mood when you're on the deck enjoying the views. Inside the upgraded ammentities really make you feel at home. Would love to stay again, hopefully next year !!!

Amazing!

My sisters bridal party stayed here for the weekend and the house was beautiful with a perfect location. The owners were so nice as well as everyone else we met from the restaurant located below. I will definitely stay here again!

The Wildwoods are a love of ours... Megan's family has had a summer home here since 1919 and I have been a summer regular here since we met in 2000. We loved it so much we decide to make our life here by purchasing South Dock Cafe and Marina in 2015. This apartment sits above our small marina and boasts some of the best views the island has to offer.

We have loved South Dock for years... We always dreamed of the 'What if'... What if we ever had the opportunity to buy it? We tried a few times in 2011 and 2013 but the previous owner was not ready... In 2014 we were lucky enough to have the opportunity to make it ours and so we did. What better way to spend your days than to work with some of the best employees and meet our fantastic guests? South Dock Marina is now the home of restaurant and bar The Surfing Pig and fine dining restaurant The Swine Bar. Every year we have done our best to make the property better and better. We are so proud of what it is today!
