Unfortunately, the amount of cars circulating on the road that leads to the beach does not depend on me :) Furthermore, it is true, in Sardinia in the month of August it is difficult to find beaches with few people, especially on very beautiful beaches, and Porto Taverna is one of them, sometimes even preferred over the beautiful Cinta or even "Tahiti"! On fact, our beach certainly has advantages over the others, and the house is in an optimal position to get there on foot. However, I hope you want to return, perhaps in quieter periods.

Hi Kasturi, I am glad you enjoyed your vacation and appreciated location and accomodation. About the lack of a good knife, I agree with you, it is a "must" in the kitchen! Thank you for taking time to write the review. However, I am very sorry for what you wrote. You yourself expressed appreciation for the quality of our contact via email and WhatsApp messages. So, why did you not express your deep dissatisfaction during your stay? Everything seemed to be perfect, nothing was contested or communicated to me or even pointed out to my representative who opened my home to you, who was always available and who would have done everything to deal with any problem and resolve them. Everything is very strange and I don't understand the reason. I will avoid going into the dispute of every single point even if it would be necessary… Your one-star rating is objectively unacceptable. The 60 reviews preceding yours are all four or five stars, the one made by the guest who entered 4 hours after your departure is five stars. The house and the cleaning team are always the same. Ihre Ein-Stern-Bewertung ist objektiv inakzeptabel. Die 60 Bewertungen, die Ihnen vorausgehen, sind alle mit vier oder fünf Sternen bewertet, die Bewertung des Gastes, der vier Stunden nach Ihrer Abreise eingereist ist, hat fünf Sterne. Das Haus und das Reinigungsteam sind immer das Gleiche. Außerdem folgten die Gäste ohne Unterbrechung einander. Es tut mir Leid. La ringrazio per il tempo che ha voluto dedicare alla scrittura della recensione. Mi spiace però molto per quello che ha scritto. Lei stesso esprime apprezzamento sulla qualità del nostro contatto via mail e messaggi whattsapp. Ma allora, perché mai non mi ha espresso la Sua profonda insoddisfazione durante il Suo soggiorno? Tutto sembrava andare bene, nulla è stato contestato o comunicato a me e neppure fatto notare al mio incaricato che vi ha aperto casa, che si è reso sempre disponibile e che avrebbe fatto di tutto per fronteggiare e risolvere eventuali problemi. Tutto molto strano e non capisco il motivo. Evito di entrare nella contestazione di ogni singolo punto anche se ce ne sarebbe bisogno La Sua valutazione di una stella è obiettivamente inaccettabile. Le 60 recensioni precedenti alla sua sono tutte di quattro o cinque stelle, quella dell' ospite che è entrato a 4 ore dalla Sua partenza è di cinque. La casa è la stessa, la squadra dei servizi di pulizia anche. E gli ospiti si sono susseguiti senza interruzioni. Mi dispiace.

Dear Pia and Marco, I am very sorry that you had to deal with the problem of blocked pipes. Sometimes it can happen and especially on islands, like in Greece where for example you can't even flush paper in the toilets. The operators found a lot of sand... I imagine it can happen with children. I did my best to solve the problem as quickly as possible and I think I succeeded, plus it was late in the evening. Regarding your reports on the poor cleanliness, I must say that when I go I always find it impeccable and so do the many guests who have come and gone over the years - and I was very sorry that you questioned my words - on the other hand, the many 5 star reviews they have published prove it. However, I signaled the service to pay even more attention. There is no limit to improvement! 😊 Anyway, thanks for taking the time to write the review.

Dear Michael and Birgit, it was really a plesure for me to get in touch with you. I am glad you enjoyed your vacation and thank you for your feedback about your staying in Villino Mistral. I always try to give my best in wellcoming and supporting my guests. Flexibility in check in and out timing is not alway feasible during high season, but if the booking schedule allows me, like in your case, I am happy to meet my guests needs. September and October are still fantastic months to take a holiday in Sardegna and in some ways give some advantages! I hope you will come back one day and meet you, best wishes to both of you

Merci beaucoup Laurence pour l'avis, je suis ravie que vous ayez apprécié le logement, l'accueil et le soutien. Quant aux notes que vous avez prises, il est toujours utile d'avoir des retours afin de s'améliorer. En ce qui concerne le manque d'éclairage dans la cuisine, je suis presque certain que vous n'avez probablement pas remarqué que le panneau avant coulissant de la hotte aspirante à gaz a une lumière très forte qui éclaire très bien toute la table de cuisson. Quant aux transats, je suppose que vous n'avez pas vu qu'ils sont repliés à côté du mobilier de chambre couleur corail. Je suis heureux que vous ayez encore passé de bonnes vacances et j'espère que vous reviendrez bientôt à Porto Taverna

I have to say anyway that besides criticisms I would have appreciated a mention of the several advantages and merits of the house as well as the quality of the support offered to you and your several requests of dates postponements within two years laps of time, always kindly and promptly accepted by me About the shower you are surely right, and I have already renewed it. About the rdges of the sheets, sorry for that. It never happened before and if I had been informed about of the problem, I would certainly activated myself for the replacement. Also concerning the problem of ants on the terrace, if you had informed me I would have suggested you to buy an anti-insect spray, because with plants and trees around or it may be in presence of food remains it could happen.
