Amazingly peaceful and quiet! The home was beautiful and just a short drive to everywhere we wanted to go. We especially loved sitting on the brand-new docks in the mornings and evenings, and the campfire spot by the water was perfect. A wonderful stay all around! Highly recommend!

The long weekend was not long enough. You cannot beat the location of this home being on a wonderful wide cove hidden from the boat traffic on the main lake. Location is everything for a waterfront home, and here you have the best being on a large point. It's not often you see a home with two docks. Evenings were calming chilling around the large stone fire pit. The house is well laid out with numerous upgrades. This is a home we will again visit!!

We had a great stay. Check-in was smooth. Kitchen was well stocked. House was as described. The new docks were lovely. (We only really used the swimming dock). There were great steps to get onto the dock. The house had clearly been checked to make sure everything was in working order right before we got there. So much so that we got a call to ask if the Paddle boards that were on the dock we ours. (Yes we had them delivered). I had a couple of questions related to a sign on one of the docks, and we got a response within a couple of minutes. Screened-in porch was amazing-the fan really helped on 95days. Everything went so smoothly.

Very nice Lakeside House

The house has an amazing location, felt very private but yet close enough drive to shops and restaurants. The lake water was very clean, and the large dock with table and chairs and floating dock with ladder is perfect place to enjoy it from. The house has a nice open feel to it, very well maintained and good appliances.

Beauty and Relaxation

The property was absolutely everything we’ve been looking for, for 4yrs. The house was perfect, clean and the kitchen was amazing to cook in. I’ve never felt so at home. The kids played in The lake without any problems and loved every minute of all the animals surrounding. Bald eagle, deer, fish, ducks and even a box turtle out the front door. Thank you for a dream getaway, we’ve already planned our next stay!!

Week at the Lake

After having to cancel a tent trip due to bad weather, we found this gem. The weather was still horrible but it turned out ok. The house is beautifully decorated with high ceilings, has a fantastic view, a screened in porch to enjoy while the rain was coming down, and foosball!!! We had to leave a day early due to a big storm came through and knocked the power out. We contacted the host and they were great about it. Only drawback was we had to bring our own sheets/towels. That was a first for us.

Beautiful location and house

The house was nicely situated on a point with seating around a fire pit, an open deck, and a screened porch. Lovely views of the water, a dock with a ladder for swimming, and a clean, comfortable house made for a lovely stay.

We loved our stay at this location at Smith Mountain Lake. The view from the property was incredible. Everything was clean and in great order. We would definitely go back again.

Perfect Vacation Spot at SML

This property is located in a cove which is ideal for water sports. On top of that, the property is at the edge of an inlet in the cove so there isn't any boat traffic going past the property to the left or right. The property itself is exactly as advertised with all amenities included as per the description. Our family had a great week and are going to book this property again. Thank you for wonderful memories!!!

Lake stay

Fabulous time at the lake and such a great house with a fabulous location! We loved the cove- it was perfect for letting the kids swim & we rented a boat for a few days & tried out tubing & kneeboarding! The kids had a blast! The house was perfect for our family & the kitchen had everything we needed, the grill was great too! Don’t hesitate to book this house if you’re looking for a private, perfect spot to relax.

Beautiful!

This was a beautifully maintained and clean property. The kitchen was well stocked with new appliances. The location was close to grocery stores and restaurants. The walkways to the fire pit and dock were well marked. The deck was large with several chairs and a dining table. The screened porch would be great in the summer. The absolute only complaint is that the box spring on the king bed made the most awful LOUD squeak with any little movement. The mattress itself was comfortable, but the squeaks didn’t make for a restful night. Other than that, I would highly recommend this property.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

My children and I absolutely loved our stay. The house is so beautiful and in the perfect, secluded location but still close to town. The house is top notch! Would highly recommend. The hosts were amazing. Excited to come back one day!
