Esta acogedora casa de campo está a unos pasos de ver el amanecer en el lago de Muskegon y la puesta de sol en el lago Michigan además de que también está cerca de sendero para bicicletas, restaurantes, y muchas atracciones. Recientemente renovado, este encantador bungalow de actualización ofrece el lugar perfecto para relajarse y disfrutar de unas vacaciones de verano. Hay dos habitaciones con camas matrimoniales y un sofá cama tamaño queen en la sala de estar, lavadora, secadora, área de comedor al aire libre, parrilla, TV, WiFi, aire acondicionado central, todo lo que necesita para disfrutar de su hogar lejos del hogar. Próximamente se agregarán nuevas fotos fabulosas de la adición de 2019 (otro dormitorio, baño, lavadero), actualmente en construcción.

Great Stay

We had a great stay in the bungalow. We were in town for a wedding and the location of the bungalow was close to all of the festivities. The host was very communicative and made sure our stay was going well. Very well maintained property.

Perfect Beach Bungalow Getaway

The bungalow was very modern and had all the amenities we needed. The hosts were great. The place was very clean, a convenient walk to the beach and great launch pad for hiking the state parks. We will be back for a summer visit.

Close walk to Lake Michigan!

This place is super cute and just a couple blocks from the lake. Well stocked with dishes, towels, beach chairs, etc. Loved the location of so close to the lake! The owners were very kind & prompt in responding to us! Would love to stay again sometime!

Loved the house and location. Nice to be close to the beach but not on it. We took advantage of the great bike trails, Muskegon Lake and Lake Michigan.

Enjoyed the Stay!

My sister and I spent a long weekend in the area. First time here. Loved the walks by the beach, everywhere we ate was excellent. Loved Toast and Jams for breakfast, The Deck was great food and service. Will probably return sometime in the fall to see all the colors in the trees. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Wonderful family vacation!

We had a wonderful time at the Beach Bungalow with our family! The host was very communicative, helpful, and was even willing to go above and beyond to mail us our son's beloved stuffed animal that was accidentally left behind. The house is within walking distance from the beach as promised and is in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. It was a great week at a great location!

Wonderful Stay!

We spent several days here with small children. The property was very charming, and even nicer in person. The kitchen, fire pit area, and party barn had all the supplies we needed, and those we didn’t know we needed (haha). Host Kathy was very attentive and texted periodically to check on us. Would 100% recommend.

Cozy Bungalow & walking distance to the beach

This house is incredible. Such a cute and cozy beach bungalow. We loved the interior layout and decor, the outdoor patio, the landscaping, and especially the very short walk to the beach. We’d absolutely stay at this house again when we visit Muskegon again sometime. The owner was super great, too - she reached out a few times to make sure we had what we needed and to see if we had any questions.

Beautiful bungalow in a great location

We appreciated Kathy & Tom’s beautiful home and the peace and tranquillity that it brings. Nice space for two adults with two seperate and comfortable bathrooms and bedrooms. Kitchen was nicely updated and hosts provided snacks and water for our arrival. Very short walk to Pere Marquette Beach to enjoy sunsets and sand. Looking forward to coming back and enjoying the home in the summer!

This house is immaculate and adorable--the owners clearly care a lot about the property. It's a quick walk to the beach, walking trails, and a short drive into town if you need anything. Kathy was great with suggestions and checking in to make sure everything I needed.

Absolutely Perfect❣️

When returning to Muskegon for a visit, my husband, also raised on Lake Michigan, and I try to get as close to it as possible. This cottage is lovingly cared for and away from the chaos yet close enough to walk to Pier Marquette. Very highly recommended😊

Nice lake rental

The location was great and so was the house. The only concern was that the bedroom with the master bed didn’t have a door on it. It was around the corner from the main living area so it wasn’t too much on an issue but it was a little odd.

Cute and comfortable!

We enjoyed staying at the beach bungalow. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and more. Beautiful beaches within walking distance, and nice updated decor throughout the house. The owner checked in (via text) multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed and even suggested activities to do in the area. Our family of four was a bit crowded, but we knew the size of the house going into it and were very happy overall with our experience. Thanks for a great week!

Beautiful piece of property with all necessary amenities for a great vacation.

This house is quaint and just perfect for a small family of four. The various seating areas outside offered a nice getaway. While the house is pretty close to the lake, we thought it was actually closer. A previous review had read that it was a “one-minute walk to the beach”...I would say it’s closer to ten minutes, and definitely not a walk to take with small kids. Great communication with and attentiveness from the owners. You can tell they are passionate about the home.

Just as Wonderful the 2nd Time

Kathy is an amazing hostess. She is so attentive and welcoming. She has created a wonderful place for families to enjoy their vacation and create memories. The bungalow is perfectly situated in the Beachwood-Bluffton neighborhood. We stayed 4 years ago and our stay this time was equally amazing. There is plenty of space with the addition of another bedroom, full bath and main floor laundry. The rest of the home feels larger than it is. I loved spending time outside--the yard is great for morning coffee and evening fires in the firepit. Overall it's clean, safe and welcoming. Thank you Kathy!

Home Away From Home

This is a beautiful cottage - many warm, welcoming touches and decorations. The kitchen and main bath are brand new, the beds were extremely comfortable and the area is so pretty; sunrise a short walk to one lake and sunset a walk or very short drive to Lake Michigan. The only thing that bothered us (NOT the hostesses fault!) was that there is construction going on very close to the cottage, which backs up to the main street all the equipment has to drive on - so pretty noisy early in the mornings! The beach is huge with a great restaurant right there; the USS Silversides and Museum are right around the corner from there. There are many other small museums in town as well as another war/history ship museum. Many good choices to eat and our favorite: The Cheese Lady has a shop downtown. As far as we could tell, there aren't a lot of gift/trinket stores, like Saugatuck or South Haven have - but we go for the trails and beach, not to shop. You will need to drive places - but not to the beach. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Perfect cottage near our favorite West Michigan beach

This was our second time staying at the Beach Bungalow. Thanks to the new addition to the house (a second bedroom, second bathroom, and main floor laundry room), this stay was even better than the first! We are a family of four and were very comfortable here for a week. The house is spotless and is decorated very nicely. The neighborhood is quiet and safe (at the end of the road), but still within walking distance of Pere Marquette beach. We spent lots of time at the beach during this visit, and used the provided beach items (chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, small cooler). Knowing that these items were provided made the job of packing much easier. The beach itself is very nice. Other beaches on Lake Michigan have disappeared thanks to the high water levels this year, but the Pere Marquette beach still has a very wide area of sand and does not feel crowded. Thanks for a great week!

Beach Bungalow Exceeded Our Expectations!

What a wonderful beach bungalow! Our family of 4 had an amazing week in this cozy home. We love Muskegon and visit every other year for a week but this was the first time renting a vacation home. So happy with our decision as it exceeded our expectations for a much needed fun and relaxing getaway. Kathy was attentive, easy to communicate with and promptly answered my questions. I have to say that the property is every bit as charming and quaint as the pictures show. It was clean, welcoming and though small, it feels much larger-everything you need without being cluttered. The location at the end of the street makes it feel very private. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials. The bathroom, though very tiny, functioned well and met our needs. Both the full size bed in the bedroom and the pull out bed in the living room were very comfortable. The back entry way leading to the basement laundry and changing area was especially convenient after a day at the beach. Additionally, Kathy has created beautiful outdoor living space. It was so nice sipping my morning coffee on the side patio, surrounded by lovely flowers and landscaping. In the back, the kids loved using the fire-pit to roast hotdogs and s'mores. We used the propane grill a few times as well. No complaints! We can not wait to return. Thank you for providing such wonderful accommodations!

WOW - Just Perfect!

We recently enjoyed seven days in the beautiful Beach Bungalow. Kathy, and her family, have created a perfect lake retreat, and it is easy to see their dedication to guest comfort, and experience, in their recent kitchen remodel. Our stay was completely perfect, and rain free. Thanks Kathy for working out the weather for us! This Beach Bungalow is located just steps from Lake Michigan, where we enjoyed six nights of great sunsets. As for the property, the first word would be WOW. The outside is well maintained, and landscaped nicely. Inside, the Bungalow seems warm, safe, and easy to feel comfortable in. We stocked the fridge up and made use of the fabulous new kitchen area - cooking many great meals and just relaxing. In the Bungalow everything was there, convenient, and clean. It’s just nice to see owners caring so much about the little things. On the way to the property we stopped and picked up firewood. As we carried it around behind the Bungalow we had to pause and laugh. There was already a nice stack of wood, and kindling, for our use. There were even lighters available in the kitchen – just perfect. Throughout the week there were many more smiles as we discovered more about the wonderful house and property. This trip meant a lot to us as we had just experienced a family loss, and Kathy was understanding, and respectful, of our need for solitude and a time to re-center. She reached out to us once during the trip to check on things, but was always a text, or call, away if we needed her. Just a great property, and a better host and host family. Kathy, we truly appreciate your families’ efforts on this property and allowing us to share within it for a few days. I hope future guest will respect the dedication your family has, and all the hard work that has went into making the Beach Bungalow what it is today, while helping to preserve its integrity for all of us to enjoy down the road. We now have a new lake house and will be back soon!

Bluffton

The place is a wonderful gem. It was decorated perfectly! The house is functional and just the right size. It is great place that we wouldn’t hesitate to stay at again!! Things to keep in mind though is one bedroom is right off the other. There is a door, but no hallway in between. The larger (master) has a beautiful ceiling . The room is spacious and tucked away to some extent, but there is no door to obtain total privacy. If you travel with a group, just things to keep in mind as you make sleeping arrangements.

Get away weekend in a lovely cottage

Great communication with the owner. Cottage was as described in listing. Short walking distance to a beautiful Lake Michigan beach Well stocked home. A separate locked utility shed with beach toys. We locked our bikes in at night after riding some beautiful trails. This was our first time using VRBO and we were very pleased!

A Great Find

Four of us rented this lovely bungalow while attending our 46th class reunion. It fit our needs absolutely perfectly — from the location, to the perfect set-up and thoughtful amenities, to the attentiveness of the owner.
