Waterfront Large Gorgeous House, no se necesita coche

Casa grande y espaciosa de 2700 pies cuadrados. La casa está situada justo en el lago con impresionantes vistas al agua. Puedes lanzar tu kayak, canoa o tabla de paddle desde el muelle en la parte trasera de la casa. ¡Horas de diversión en el lago! También hay 2 canchas de tenis en el vecindario para su uso.

La casa está a solo 1 milla de la ciudad de Bethany y la playa. Fácil 20 minutos a pie de la playa, pero aún mejor, el tranvía se detiene justo en frente de la casa. El tranvía pasa cada 1/2 hora durante el verano y te deja justo en la playa y la ciudad. Así que estacione el automóvil, vaya a la playa durante el día, disfrute de los restaurantes en la ciudad por la noche, y la próxima vez que se suba a su automóvil es cuando salga para irse a casa. Si prefiere conducir a la playa, está a solo 5 minutos en automóvil y hay 2 pases de estacionamiento disponibles para su uso.

El nivel principal cuenta con una gran sala de estar / comedor abierto. Hay una pared llena de ventanas en la sala de estar con impresionantes vistas al lago. Hay un televisor de pantalla plana y DVD. La casa cuenta con cable e internet inalámbrico. La gran cocina del comedor tiene encimeras de granito y electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable. El porche proyectado está fuera del comedor con vistas al agua. Hay una sala de estar y también un pequeño comedor allí. Salga del porche proyectado hacia la cubierta del piso principal y encontrará un gran salón con impresionantes vistas al agua.
También hay un amplio dormitorio con su propio baño en el nivel principal, ideal para quienes no les gustan las escaleras. Al lado del baño se encuentra la sala de lavandería con lavadora / secadora completa.

Subiendo las escaleras hasta el segundo piso hay un pasillo tipo loft que da al piso principal. El amplio dormitorio principal tiene un baño privado con encimeras de granito. También hay un televisor en la habitación. Fuera del dormitorio principal hay puertas correderas a la cubierta de arriba. Esta terraza cuenta con 2 tumbonas y un salón con vistas al agua. Hay 2 dormitorios más que comparten un baño.

La casa es muy familiar. En la habitación con literas, la cómoda es una combinación de tocador y cambiador. Hay un cambiador en el armario. Solo tiene que traer su funda para cambiador. También hay un genio de pañales y paquete y juego en el armario para su uso si es necesario. Además, hay un contenedor de juguetes en la habitación con literas que mantendrá a los niños entretenidos durante horas.

La casa tiene capacidad para 13 personas con el acuerdo anterior y ese es el número máximo de ocupantes permitidos para nuestro alquiler.

El camino de entrada es lo suficientemente grande como para estacionar de 4 a 5 autos. Hay una ducha exterior en el lado derecho de la casa. El lago en el que se encuentra la casa se conecta a los canales que se conectan a la bahía. Estás en la calle de Bethany Beach, a 10 minutos de Fenwick Island y Dewey Beach, a 15 minutos de Ocean City y a 20 minutos de Rehoboth Beach. Muy buena ubicación y cerca de todas las playas si desea explorar más de una.

Wonderful and the transporation was excellent. Fishing at the back door. My Grandson got up early every day and fished we had to drag him in at dark. I think its a bit much to buy a license for a few day of back yard fishing.

We enjoyed our stay. The house is very spacious and the view of the lake is spectacular. We brought our kayaks and enjoyed easy access to the water, we fished off the dock, and took in beautiful sunsets over the lake in the evening.

Nice location, great house!

The first impression wasn't great with the house not seemingly cleaned, but quick response from owner, and overall wonderful stay here! Loved the access to the lake/canals/salt pond, what a beautiful bonus to the Bethany Beach location! Loved the trolley, we barely drove anywhere!

It’s a decent place to stay but not worth the price. It’s too far from the beach to walk. Have to drive or take the trolly. Not providing towels and sheets was a boomer. We had to use a local company to get sheets and towels for everyone.costly and very inconvenient. They leave them outside and you’ve got to figure out and make the beds yourself. Also kitchen appliances, pans, pots and overall day to day use should be updated and more organized and less damaged. Patio furnitures damaged and cushions very dirty. We used towels to sit and use them.

I am sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your stay. Our house is not beachfront. It is lakefront. It says specifically on our listing here that it is 1 mile from the beach so a 20 minute walk, 5 minute drive, or a trolley ride. In addition, it also says on our listing that you would need to bring sheets and towels. Access instructions were sent to you a week before your reservations re-iterating above. You emailed me the evening before your visit surprised about this, and I suggested some companies that would provide them if you did not want to bring them yourself. There are a number of companies to choose from since this is common at the beaches here. Our house sleeps a large number of people so we provide multiple numbers of pots and pans to make cooking easier for large parties. Our house is booked all summer, and unfortunately the cleaning service does not organize pots and pans in the cabinets if they were not organized as you like, from the previous renters that left before your arrival. We rely on renters to report any damages or issues that are not obvious to our cleaners. You did not notified us of any issues during your stay. If you did, we would have been happy to rectify it for you.

Beautiful secluded feel

We loved how close to the beach we were but still felt like we were nestled in a lakeside home. Like getting the best of both worlds! Lovely home and beautiful views and plenty to do nearby. It was perfect for our girls weekend !

Beautiful Home

The pictures for this listing does not do it justice. This home is beautiful and clean in a very peaceful neighborhood. Close to everything and easy to get around, especially with the Trolley which passes right by the house and will take you down to the beach area. Our host was responsive and very accommodating. We were 3 couples and there was plenty of room for everyone. I highly recommend this home and will definitely book again when visiting that area in the future.

Lake and beach. Best of both worlds.

The house was perfect. We could walk to the beach or launch our kayaks off the dock and explore the lake and canals. We rented bikes one day and took the bike trail by the house that runs along the canal. There was so much to do. The house had plenty of room for all my sisters and their families to gather and relax. The home owners were very helpful and all their recommendations were very good.

Great Bethany Vacation Spot

Home was really great for our Bethany vacation with friends. It looked just like the pictures and had plenty space for us. The water view from the back deck is beautiful in the morning and the Bethany Trolley out front makes getting to the beach a breeze (be sure to bring your quarters for the ride). The owner had a nice welcome package and was responsive during the booking process. We only had minor issues...kids were a little bummed that the foosball table didn’t work very well and the pots/utensils in the kitchen were functional, but well used. Overall, i’d Recommend this place to others, the location couldn’t be beat!

Clean and comfortable

Great location. Only down side was the noise echos due to few carpets and high ceilings with open bannisters to top floor. I could hear everything the person in the kitchen was doing, up in my room unfortunately. (Like making early morning coffee!). So just something to be mindful of, if your group isn’t all on the same page waking up! But not deal breaker!

Lovely lakeside retreat

This was a great location for our first trip to Bethany after many years in Rehoboth. Although house is 2 miles from the beach, the residential parking passes were most welcome, and the trolley comes by regularly. Supermarket and pharmacy just a few short miles up the road. The lake locale was superb. Not only was it beautiful and peaceful, but we rented kayaks for the week and made great use of them, exploring the many canals and the Salt Pond. Very easy to use the public launch adjacent and we got more adept at using the owner's dock, as well. I'd stay here again JUST for the waterways access. The house is spacious and bright and the living room was super comfortable. The bedrooms were good sizes and it was great to have three bathrooms. Most of the beds were very comfortable (with the exception of the larger lower bunk, which needs a new mattress). We loved the easy keypad lock access to the house and the convenience of the washer/dryer. It was an extremely hot and humid week, and the A/C struggled to keep up in all the bedrooms except the master. Additional box or table fans would have been welcome. The kitchen was well-stocked overall, but was missing a can opener! (We bought a cheap one and left it for the next guests.) The dining area seats 6, but it was difficult to fit more people at the table, even borrowing the patio chairs. We had some small issues upon arrival, but Thuy was very responsive to ensure they were resolved as quickly and as thoroughly as possible. Further recommendations: Grill is badly rusted and should be replaced ASAP. Adding hooks in bedrooms, bathrooms and outdoor shower would be helpful. Replacing wardrobe in downstairs bedroom with a chest of drawers would be preferable. Remind cleaners not to neglect outdoor refrigerator; we had to clean extensive mold in the freezer. Dishwasher was overfull upon arrival--and some items should have been pre-rinsed. But overall, the house was very clean (especially considering that guest expectations at check-out are minimal). Screened porch a bit shabby, but wicker furniture very comfy--love the rockers! All in all, a nice rental. Just a few improvements would take this to a 5-star rating. Thank you for sharing your home, as well as all the helpful recommendations for making the most of our stay.

Thank you for your suggestions. A few comments we would like to add: 1. The bunk bed mattress is only 3 years old 2. We are not aware of any HVAC issues and other renters did not report of any. The house has a dual zone HVAC and so is supplied by 2 HVAC system - 1 for the downstairs and 1 for the upstairs. With a heat wave you mentioned, it might have been difficult for the electric company to keep up with all the high demand in the dense beach area. 3. The kitchen is stocked with 2 can openers - an electric and a handheld. The electric one was in the kitchen cabinet. 4. We were unaware of any grill issues and will look into this. 5. The renters before you left a sink overflowing with dirty dishes and our cleaners cleared them all and why the dishwasher was full.

“The Views”. We were a group of ladies on a girls weekend. This home was perfect . Lots of room. We especially loved the screened in porch and sitting outside on the deck and watching the wildlife and stillness of the water. Close to beach , boardwalk and many restaurants. Will definitely be back . I bet Fall here is beautiful. .

A Perfect Getaway

A beautiful house with a scenic view of the lake! The location was perfect and the neighborhood seemed safe - also close to downtown Bethany and the beach. We didn't use the trolley but nice to know we could hop on right in front of the house. Kayaking in the lake and through the canals was nice and peaceful. There were so many interesting birds to see along the way. The owner was very responsive and also provided tips/recommendations about the area which was very helpful. We had a great time!

There were 8 of us in the party. The house was perfect. Close enough to the beach to enjoy everything and far enough to not be in the craziness. The house was clean and exactly what we were needing for the weekend.

Wonderful week but property needs attention

Lovely property, great location, quiet and convenient. The home itself, however is in need of deep cleaning and repairs. For example, some hardware on the doors of the kitchen cabinets were totally missing ( this had been mentioned in a previous review but obviously not attended to), screen door to backyard doesn’t fit correctly, big gap at bottom ( also noted before our visit). The tub was stained brown from water issues I suppose, but my postpartum daughter in law was on her hands and knees trying to clean it so her little children could use it. I was so embarrassed about that. No mirror in first floor bedroom, fans and return vents covered in dust and grime, antenna in master bedroom SCOTCH TAPED to the wall. Windows look like they have never been washed. Screened in porch needs an outdoor fan. Mini blinds with cords are a choking hazard and need to be updated. All that being said, we enjoyed our week at the beach for many other reasons. We just feel this property needs some deep cleaning and attention. Would love to rent again, but will not consider unless property is given some attention.

As always love BB, home was disappointing

Wonderful location! Quiet, peaceful spot. On the lake. Shuttle pick up at door. Watching Osprey, Blue Heron and Cormorants was fabulous. Trees with many different nest. All fantastic pluses for this home. Home itself was overall disappointing. Needs some TLC and deep cleaning. On arrival we cleaned the entire house. Floors, tabletops, counters, bathroom and all touch surfaces. In the owners defense we did not contact him. We witnessed the cleaning company leaving and didn’t feel calling them back would be helpful. It smelled like they sprayed some fragrant cleaner but did very little cleaning. We decided to clean the entire place ourselves. For the price charged ~ we expected a higher end, well cared for home. It is not. Several kitchen cabinets are missing hardware, cannot fully open dishwasher as broken bottom stove drawer impedes it’s opening, Dining room chairs and upholstered chair (its a removable cover) are dirty and need care. We left the home in far better condition they when we arrived. We have been visiting BB since 1993 ~ we will not stay here again. We were expecting a well loved home.

Wonderful Property - Super Location

This is a beautiful home with incredible ammenities. The trolley that stops right in front of the house to shuttle you to the beach is awesome. The neighborhood is quiet and the nature surrounding the property is wonderful for people of all ages. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to staying here again in the future!

Overall we had a great weeks vacation! The property is as shown on the photos. The location is wonderful, the trolley is very convenient, and the community is very nice! There are a few things that do need attention or upgrading, such as screen doors on the enclosed porch do not close, and one screen area is torn, so you really aren’t keeping the bugs out. Also all the toilets ran most of the time, and the upstairs bathroom door was barely on hinges, I actually fell off and the men in our group were able to put it back up , but there are things that need to be taken care of.

Beautiful lake getaway

We had a blast at this property! We brought our kayaks and a SUP. It was the perfect spot for these types of watercraft. There were so many places to explore! House views of the lake and water fowl were incredible. Host was very responsive, too! Loved this vacation!!.

Location, location, location!!!

We spent the weekend at this property and we were so pleased! You open the front door and immediately see the huge windows with the lake view. Beautiful!! The home is a quick 5 minute drive to the Bethany boardwalk, and with the parking pass included, finding parking was easy… even when it was crowded!! The owner was accommodating, quick to respond to any questions, and made it an easy check in and check out. We will definitely book this house again!

We love Bethany Beach because of all the nearby beaches, we think Bethany is the most family friendly. There is so much to do with the children - everything from childrens events to concerts to movies and bonfires on the beach. We will send you all the inside information above before your stay.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We love our house because we felt it was the best of both worlds - a beach house and a lake house. It's down the street from the beach to enjoy the sand, ocean, boardwalk, and everything summer at the beach.

It's also right on the lake to enjoy all the fun lake activities such as kayaking and paddle boarding. We also love to sit on our main deck and watch the sunset over the lake in the evenings.

We also love the neighborhood. It's close enough to the beach but quiet and peaceful in a residential neighborhood. It's also a great walking neighborhood and you will see lots of friendly owners walking about so be sure to wave and say hi.
