Terrific Tropea Trip

We cannot wait to return to this perfect apartment in the most beautiful place. Tropea is truly a jewel, as was our host Giuseppe. Follow all of his recommendations-especially for restaurants! Giuseppe’s lovely apartments are comfortable, well appointed, clean and very nice. Walk to the beach, the town, groceries…everything is right there! If you are lucky enough to stay here—you are very lucky!

Unforgettable!

I never give reviews, but after our stay at Giuseppe’s, I would be remiss. From the overflowing bowl of fruit awaiting us on the kitchen table to the wine and other essentials in the fridge, accompanied by the warm welcoming from Giuseppe, we automatically felt at home! Giuseppe treated us like an extension of his family and went above and beyond. One can tell the care and love that was put into the detail of the condos, not to mention the cleanliness. The location was excellent! About a 10-15 walk into the centro storico and a short walk to the beach. Grocery stores were nearby and all the conveniences you could need. We are seasoned travellers and appreciated all the little details. It is wonderful to meet someone who truly cares about people and not just the bottom line. We truly became friends with Giuseppe and his wife Paola. We miss them and look forward to returning!

Treated like family visiting from out of town ❤️

Giuseppe was amazing, he treated us like family and gave us the personal tour of all the best beaches and restaurants. The unit was clean and very comfortable with all the amenities at hand. Great patio ( ground floor unit) to lounge out on in the evening. It is a walk into town, so if you aren’t inclined to do that, take your car and find a parking spot. Will definitely be back! Grazie per tutti Giuseppe

Wonderful!

Beautiful property in Tropea! Lovely decor, sparkingly clean, every amenity and more than you could hope for. Giuseppe is so welcoming and left all sorts of local information. Terrace and conveient parking are both a bonus. Walkable to sites and retaurants. Would highy recommend a stay at this secure and modern apartment.

Tropea is gorgeous with its views, crystal water at the beach and the villa gave more pleasure to our visit! Me and my kids really enjoyed it! The place is well maintained and clean! The location is perfect for those who want to stay away from the busy touristy neighborhoods but very close to beaches, restaurants and grocery shopping. The owners made it more welcoming with their hospitality! Even though the train station was minutes away, we were picked up and dropped off with our luggage by the owner! They left dish full of seasonal fruit and wine for us when we arrived! The next day, he drove us around and showed us the area! We also had exchange of fresh sheets and towels during our stay! Being a very busy mom, I left my sunglasses while checking out at the end of my stay. I was on my way to the next destination in Italy and the owner contacted me and send my sunglasses to me! These people really care about their guests! We had the most wonderful time at this villa during our travel in Italy!

Tropea

Lovely host who picked us up and dropped us off at the train station. They also provided a huge platter of fresh fruits and some juice, coffee and tea. We received a guided tour of the area on our first morning in Tropea. A beautiful town and friendly, helpful hosts.

Urlaub in einem super schönen Appartement

Hier an erster Stelle ein dickes Dankeschön an Guiseppe und seine Familie für die Gastfreundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft.Wir haben hier wunderschöne Urlaubstage in einem tip top sauberen und perfekt eingerichtetem Appartement mit viel Liebe zum Detail verbracht.Empfangen wurden wir mit einer großen Schale Obst,Saft,Wasser und Eistee im Kühlschrank.Die Bettwäsche und Handtücher wurden einmal gewechselt.Über Geschirrtücher,Spülmittel,Tabs für die Spülmaschine bis hin zu Waschmittel,Duschbad und Handseife war alles vorhanden.Die Küche war gespickt mit Essig ,Öl,Salz und Pfeffer,sowie Kapseln für die Espresso Maschine.Auch eine Reservierung für uns in einem Restaurant war kein Problem.Hier auch noch zu erwähnen,dass unser Gastgeber uns die Strände Vorort gezeigt hat und uns Tips für gute Restaurants gegeben hat.Ich hoffe,dass wir nichts vergessen haben.Das wäre sehr schade, da wir schon einige Jahre den Urlaub in Ferienwohnungen und Häusern verbringen,und diesen Komfort so noch nicht erlebt haben.Wir können es nur empfehlen. Beautifully equipped apartment in Tropea

On arrival we were met by hosts Giuseppe, Paola and son Domenico and made extremely welcome and shown around the apartment. The apartment is spacious and beautifully furnished and with large patio full of colourful plants and shrubs. The fridge was stocked with water, juice, beer and local cider. There was huge bowl of fruit and another bowl of local strawberries. Tea, coffee, oil, vinegar etc were also supplied. This is unusual in our experience. Also we had two spacious bathrooms both provided with shower wash, shampoo and handwash. Linen and towels were of high quality. Also they bought us spaghetti for a late lunch which was most appreciated after our long journey. They continued to be superb hosts throughout our fortnight stay, including inviting us for Easter lunch and taking us for a tour of the local beauty spots. The apartment is about 15 minutes walk from the old town. It is close to several supermarkets. We highly recommend this apartment.

Ruime, goede en volledig ingericht en van alle gem

Wij hadden het appartement op de 1ste verdieping. Deze was ruim, goed ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Zelfs de koelkast was gevuld met: bier, wijn, fruit en andere etenswaren. Daarnaast werden wij verrast door de gastvrijheid die wij mochten ontvangen van de familie de Bella. Guiseppe onze gastheer verraste ons met een rondleiding door Tropea, waarbij we aanwijzingen kregen voor vermaak, restaurants en toeristische bezienswaardigheden. Daarbuiten heeft Guiseppe ons 2 x laten genieten van culinaire maaltijden uit zijn omgeving. Hij heeft ons 2 x een heerlijke pastamaaltijd aangeboden, waarvan wij enorm hebben genoten. Tropea is een leuke, levendige stadje met mooie uitzichten, prima stranden en overal in de stad goede restaurants. Kort samengevat was dit een geweldige vakantie in een super gastvrije omgeving. Een aanrader voor iedereen.

Best place to stay in Tropea

My husband and I spent three unforgettable months in the downstairs apartment of this beautiful property. Our 10 year old grandson stayed with us during the entire 3rd. month and had a ball. The owner and his family are just the most incredible hosts that you can imagine. Dr. de bella (Giuseppe for us) was very responsive to our requests from the moment we contacted him. He and his nice family made our stay unforgettable. If your do not speak Italian, Giuseppe and his children can communicate in English and will help you with taxis, car rentals, and advice. Coming from the US where we are spoiled by all kinds of comforts, we found this property very comfortable and we never missed anything from back home. The property is beautiful, just as being in your own home, mainly the patio which we enjoyed every day and night. It is very comfortable and warm in the cold weather and cool in the hot days. It has every comfort that you can think of. The cable system gives you access to international channels and the WIFI is excellent. Needless to say that the apartment is impeccable and we never had a problem with anything. The location of the property could not be better. Next door to a Bank with ATM and a good supermarket (there are other two across the street), 200 mts. from a beautiful beach with several Lidos where you can rent lounges and umbrellas. Walking distance from the "Centro Storico" and the Train Station. For those who enjoy walking, there are small nice towns like Santa Domenica to the South and Parghelia to the North. If you enjoy walking uphill you can go to the OLivara Village and Drapia, from where you can see the sea and take great pictures. You can also take the train to Pizzo where you will enjoy a great tartufo ice cream. We were so happy in this property that we are planning our trip there next year. Thank you Giuseppe, Paola, Paolo, Domenico and Federica (and to Ana the great neighbor) for making our stay such a great one and for making us feel so welcomed. We also have to mention Luna, the pet dog, which is so adorable. If you are thinking about renting a place in Tropea, this is the best and you will not regret it.

Ferien am Meer, Komfort wie zuhause

Wir wurden von der ganzen Familie sehr freundlich empfangen und immer wieder bezüglich Essen gehen, einkaufen und Ausflügen gut beraten. Die Wohnung ist sehr grosszügig und komfortabel eingerichtet. In der grossen Küche kann man die besten Gerichte mit Produkten der Gegend zaubern. Das Meer mit sauberem Strand ist gut zu erreichen. Wirklich sehr schön!

EXCELLENTE ETAPE - ACCUEIL TRES SYMPATHIQUE !

Chaleureusement accueillis par nos hôtes dans un bel et vaste appartement, conforme à la description. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour en Calabre, ses paysages et ses villages typiques. Nous remercions toute la famille pour les fleurs, les fruits, les gâteaux et leur gentillesse.
