Our host Adriano was very good at responding to all our questions prior to arriving in Tropea. When we arrived, he met us near the main square and walked with us to the apartment. Once inside he gave us a quick tour of the unit. I noticed that there was a bowl on the table, filled with fresh fruits and some famous Tropea onions for us to enjoy. What a thoughtful gestureAdriano was a fantastic host but the best part of the experience was the view from the balcony. It was breathtaking.

We were three adults staying in the apartment. The apartment has a unique location in the old town, with a fantastic view and just a short walk to the beach and the town center, with plenty of restaurants right outside the door. We didn’t use the option to park at the apartment, as driving in and out of the old town is quite complicated and requires a special permit, which must be coordinated with the host. Instead, we parked for free on a street about a 15-minute walk from the apartment.The property is built on the edge of a hillside and has a lovely large terrace, which is rare in an area where balconies are more common. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook for yourself.The host, Adriano, is very kind and helpful. We arrived in Tropea earlier than the check-in time, and Adriano kindly offered to store our luggage and contacted us when the apartment was ready. We also went on a wonderful boat trip with Adriano on his boat, which took us to places including Capo Vaticano—highly recommended.All in all, a very lovely stay.

Best view in Tropea

The apartment has fabulous views across the sea, and is located excellently for the restaurants and cafes in Tropea. Adriano was super helpful and kind, a great host! Comfortable bed, WiFi very good, and apartment felt very secure - thanks for a great stay

Best Balcony in Tropea!

Our family of 4 stayed in this apartment during the Christmas holidays and wanted a unique and comfortable stay with a view. The view from this balcony is the best in all of Tropea as it is immediately across from the Santa Maria dell'Isola church. We enjoyed the sunshine, fresh air, sea view, Stromboli, and everything it had to offer - what a dream! I imagine it's even better in the warmest months. The location feels very exclusive and is just steps away from the main street with many restaurants and boutiques nearby. Our host helped with our arrival and was easy to reach/responsive. He also consulted with us on where to park since driving/parking in Tropea has certain restrictions. This is a PRIME location in the center of Tropea and I recommend it without hesitation. The apartment was spacious, clean, and the extended balcony provided extra space to spread out and enjoy the weather. We have always loved this area and now we feel like we have a wonderful home base in our favorite village in Calabria! Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

Beautiful apartment in a great area

The location is amazing. Adriano is an excellent host and personally welcomed us to the property and was available whenever we needed anything. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Tolle Lage, herrlicher Ausblick!

Die Wohnung liegt in der Altstadt von Tropea und hat von der Terrasse einen wundervollen Ausblick aufs Meer und die Isola Bella von Tropea, samt herrlichen Sonnenuntergängen und rauchendem Stromboli! Die Wohnung liegt perfekt für die abendliche Passeggiata! Der Gastgeber wohnt im selben Gebäude und war immer erreichbar und hat immer ein paar Tipps ( Restaurants, Parkplatz) für uns gehabt. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und mit dem Auto zur Wohnung gebracht. Sehr einladend war die große Fruchtschale zum Bedienen. Die Wohnung entspricht der Beschreibung, d.h. keine Klimaanlage! Im Juli war es sehr heiß und dementsprechend aufgeheizt in der Wohnung. Große Fenster zum Lüften, nachts ist es auf dem Lungomare allerdings recht laut! Es sind Ventilatoren vorhanden!

Spectacular view and location

Absolutely loved Tropea and couldn’t have been in a better location with spectacular view. Huge verandah on both sides all with a view. Left doors open at night as you could see Isola Bella all lit up. Also very roomy apartment! Sad to leave!

Great Apartment!

My wife and I recommend this apartment without any hesitation. It's on a quiet street but within a five minute walk to the best restaurants, beaches, and historic sites that Tropea has to offer. Adriano is a terrific host who makes check-in and departure easy and efficient, and is happy to answer any question in person or by message, phone, or email. We visited in October, and had fantastic weather all week, and the ocean was still comfortable for swimming. We'll be back!

Great stay in a seaside apartment /Un grazioso apartment con vista sul mare

Our eight night stay in the apartment with wonderful view to the sea was absolutely great. Also our host Adriano was very kind and helpful. It was so great to wake up every morning and have breakfast in the large balcony with beautiful seaview. Also Tropea is a nice place to stay: the sea near the apartment and a lot of good restaurants and bars near the apartment. Il nostro vacanza nell`aparmento con vista sul mare e´ stata meravigliosa. E` stato sempre molto piacevole svelgiarsi di mattina e fare colazione sul balcone molto grande e godere della vista panoramica sul mare. Il nostro host dell´appartamento, Adriano, e´stato anche molto gentile e ci ha aiutato in tutto. Anche Tropea era una cittá molto pittoresca e piena di ristoranti tradizionali. E la mare vicino al apartamento era bello fare il bagno nel mare cristallino. Mille grazie!

Paradise in Paradise

This property is exceptional. From the location to the fabulousness of our host, Adriano, we could not have asked for more than we received. This was our second time in Tropea and everything about our apartment was beyond our expectations. I’m a little reluctant about giving this place such a great review because we want to be able to come back and have it available! There is no way I could do that to the lovely Adriano though. Don’t hesitate for a second, book your stay here. I guarantee you won’t regret it.

Amazing location, great apartment, accomodating host

Adriano very kindly met us after a late arrival. The apartment has the best view in Tropea, is right in the middle of the old town and has close access to the beach. It was perfect for a young family. Clean and with a lovely balcony for evening drinks and home cooked dinners. We'll definitely be back.

Very friendly host! Highly recommended!

Adriano is a very helpful host and the apartment is located better that you can expect. In Front the breathtaking view includes sunset and Vulcano. In the backside 10 feed from the door the first of hundreds restaurants in Tropea. Way down to beaches ist about 10 minutes but there is always something to watch. The balcony is very big and you might ask yourself we to go to the beach if you can see everything even better form the balcony. An unforgettable stay at Tropea!

Soggiornare in questo appartamento ha trasmesso a tutti noi una sensazione di benessere, la vista sul mare di Tropea dal meraviglioso terrazzo la porteremo nel cuore per tutto l'anno! meraviglioso godere di quel panorama e un attimo dopo ritrovarsi immersi nelle bellezze di un borgo affascinante. L'appartamento è fornito di tutte le comodità. Poichè il terrazzo dalle foto sembrava meraviglioso temevo di rimanere delusa ed invece è risultato essere tutto ancora più bello!!!

View to blow your mind

I know all reviews say this, but honestly, the views are breathtaking; we spent many an evening having aperitivo on the balcony watching the sunsets. The view from the master bedroom is beautiful, straight across to the church. The apartment is neaty hidden in the midst/centre of Tropea; close to everything and yet away. Adriano is so communicative and ready to help on everything and anything. He sorted the pick up from the airport, the access for our hire car (be careful to get a smaller/narrow one to fit through the narrow streets) and was helpful on places to go. Tropea was very busy at the time we went, as the main Italian holiday time and so beaches and towns more busy than usual. Also, be aware at this time (and probably on then) it can be more noisy. You wake and have apertivo with the tranquil sounds from the local church; dont be put off if you are not religious! All in all totally fantastic place to stay and thoroughly recommend. (ps my wife is Italian and her relatives visited one evening and confirmed also the value for money)

Best location in Tropea!

The apartment was perfect for us, a family with children aged 18,16 and 9. It has everything you need and we had many meals on the terrace. The view is stunning, and you can see all the way to Stromboli. Magical Sunsets. The location is to die for, you have everything like shops and restaurants at your doorstep. The 196 steps to and from the beach are the only downside but you get tour daily exercise... Adriano is avery good host, always happy to help. He lives in the same house but you still feel very private. We stayed in the apartment for two weeks in july when it was very hot outside. The apartment has no aircondition but the two bedrooms had a fan each with helped a lot. We also went on a daycruise with Adriano’s boat and it was fantastic, well worth the 500EUR. Best day we had in our two weeks! We had a car and could park it by the house but it costs 10 EUR to bring the car in to the old parts of Tropea so Adriano showed us where we could park on the outside for free. We went to many different beaches and on a tour to Stromboli with was very exciting. If we go back to Tropea we would absolutely stay in this apartment again and would highly recommend it.

A jewel in the heart of the city!

The apartment had great views and was steps away from all the action. The apartment had everything we needed. Adriano was very helpful and always quick to respond. We will highly recommend this apartment and would definitely go back! Thank you Adriano for everything!
