Este apartamento de esquí tiene un ambiente moderno y confortable y cuenta con todas las comodidades que cabría esperar incluyendo dormitorio con literas, DVD, lavavajillas y horno de tamaño completo, vitrocerámica y frigorífico. También hay una sala separada donde usted puede quitar las botas de esquí, etc. El apartamento está situado en el primer piso y lejos de los ascensores y también se enfrenta lejos de la carretera así que no hay tráfico de paso. El balcón se encuentra al sur oeste con vistas panorámicas de los Alpes. El apt tiene aproximadamente 23 metros cuadrados. No hay acceso directo desde el local de esquí de las principales pistas de esquí que dan fácil entrar y salir. El centro deportivo, tiendas, bares y restaurantes están a 2 minutos a pie, la estación de autobuses y aparcamiento vigilado también son 2 minutos a pie. El punto de encuentro de la escuela de esquí también está cerca, a unos 5 minutos.

Fantastic Val Thorens Stay

This Val Thorens apartment was perfect! Ski-in/ski-out access was a dream, and the location couldn't be better – close to restaurants and shops. The apartment itself was well-equipped with great storage and a fantastic shower. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!

Great location and homely

Apartment located centrally in Val Thorens, 2 mintes walk to Galleria and main street with shops, Spar and restaurants. 1 minute walk to nearest piste access- good access to lifts from here. Apartment well equipped and homely, nice balcony looking out onto valley. 2 x bunk in side room- decent size. 1 x sofa bed spit for 2 people in living room, good size living room with kitchen. Bathroom good size with shower and dishwasher. Enjoyed our stay and would book again.

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay - we were with 4 adults and that fitted just fine. Small but cosy. The apartment is centrally located, with a balcony to enjoy the afternoon sun. Kitchen and bathroom is very well equiped. Recommended!

Great stay in a fantastic location

Overall a fantastic stay. The apartment had everything we needed for a week trip and there was enough for the two of us. Plenty of fridge and freezer space to stock up on food and drink, oven and hobs, and a good shower. The location was excellent, right by the bus station which is perfect if you don't want to drag your cases far in the snow. From the ski locker it's a very short walk to then ski out and down to the ski schools and chair lifts. It's also easy to get back with a gondola that ends just a short walk from the building. I would highly recommend this apartment, for the price and location you cannot fault it.

Great location for the property. Small but well designed and amazingly equipped - just perfect for what we wanted. Skiing out of the apartment block in the morning was great. Getting back in involved a 1 minute walk, but that in itself was grand. The Wrights were very efficient, quick to respond to any queries and very pleasant to deal with. Would heartily recommend the property, though four big adults may find it a squeeze! Probably better suited to 2 adults + 2 children or maybe 3 adults

Good value but disappointing comms

The apartment was great, clean and well located. However the owner demanded we transfer her 200 directly as a deposit which wasn’t mentioned in the listing (but was returned after we left) and then aggressively threatened to cancel our booking when I asked if we could do it through VRBO rather than direct transfer. They also don’t have a cleaner in between stays, so you have to do a full clean before leaving. Lastly, bed linen/towels are not provided but you can hire them locally. Other than this, the place was great.

Great apartment and location.

Stayed here last week with my partner and we absolutely loved it and would highly recommend. The apartment was clean and tidy upon arrival. There was plenty of room for both of us. The oven and 4 hobs made it an easy job cooking dinner after a hard days skiing, the full size fridge freezer meant storing any food, bought from the nearby supermarket, was trouble-free. Location of apartment was excellent, only a 2 minute walk from one of the main streets of VT- with a shopping centre and restaurants. Ski in ski out was as easy as described on the listing. Owners were very responsive and informative, will definitely be staying again.

Lovely Apartment

Lovely place to stay. Well located, clean and very helpful and supportive hosts. Compact but fine for family of 4. We were 3 so plenty of room. Lovely sunny balcony. Nice to have a proper oven & 4 hotplates rather than the usual microwave and 2 hotplates. Full size fridge freezer and dishwasher also welcome. Ski from the door and a 20m walk back from Cairn lift to return, and a 2 min walk to shops/bakery for the morning bread run, so very conveniently located. Final touch - the hosts provide a UK 4 gang extension lead with a french plug so no fighting over the adapters when everyone's devices need charging at the same time! Will definitely be back...

Great location

Not really suitable for more than 2 people due to hot water situation. Only enough for 2 showers when you return from a days skiing. No grater - we bought one and left it in apartment Broken scissors No bread board/chopping board No bread knife These were the things that we missed. You do rely on people before leaving it clean and tidy before you. (Hoover could do with updating) But saying all this: The apartment was very quiet, great location to slopes, lift and town centre. Owners great communication - no issues

Amazing location and value

Helen was very responsive whenever I had a question. The flat was good size for 2 and had a full kitchen. The shower strength and temp were great too! Some considerations - you will need to bring your own single bed sheets, single duvet covers, pillow sheets, hand towels and bath towels. Helen provides duvet, pillow and mattresses. I wasn’t used to packing this along with me so just something to note, also, I don’t own any single bed sheet and duvet covers so had to make do with the doubles I owned. I think there is an option to rent these too if you want but I don’t know how much additional cost that’d be- there are basically only single beds, there is a bunk bed that can sleep 2 individual (not recommend if you are taller than average). Then secondly, the couch in the living room can be turned to two more single beds of different heights. So if you are travelling with your partner, please note you won’t actually be able to sleep side by side. My partner and I stacked 3 single mattresses on top of one another to get around this but it still isn’t directly side by side- there is a 200 deposit to send directly to Helen before you will receive the code for the key. It’s a bit dodgy as not sent via Vrbo but she sent this back to me once I’ve confirmed I’ve checked out and sent photos of a clean flat (side note: the flat is cleaned and maintained by guests) - the flat had a weird stale/ sweat smell. We tried opening windows and sprays but couldn’t really get rid of it

Excellent location, however

I rarely write feedback on anything but I feel the need to write a few notes for future folks. Yes good location, can ski out from the locker room door, and ski in is not quite achievable due to a road but it’s only about a 50m walk so no great hardship. All local amenities such as ski hire shop, food shops, bars and restaurants are all within 5min from the apartment. The apartment is just about ok for 4 adults, but you have to be good friends. The apartment is plenty warm enough, to the extent where we turned most of the heaters off and it was still warm. Furthermore it is well equipped with all you would need to for cooking and entertainment with more film options you could shake a stick at. Right then, the however bit Our biggest gripe when we turned it wasn’t that clean, this may be down to the last occupants, but it hadn’t been hovered in a while and the bathroom wasn’t that great. The other thing is the statement “newly refurbished apartment” is questionable. I would say it’s not been significantly refurbished for 10 years, if fitting a new hob and oven constitutes a refurbishment so be it, but my expectations are a little different and the dishwasher shoehorned into the bathroom was a first for me. When it comes down to it the apartment is competitively priced for a resort which is probably one of the best in France. Overall the holiday was excellent and, Val Thorens is an excellent place to stay with lots of excellent skiing for all abilities. Overall the issue with the apartment were not significant enough to detract from the holiday, just don’t turn up expecting a newly refurbished apartment.

Family ski trip April 2022

The property is bright and clean, it is a compact place as you expect from a ski apartment but is well furnished and suited the 3 of us. It is close to the main centre of the resort and close to a key link lift and run. There is a TV and DVD player with a great selection of movies. We had a lovely family holiday.

Situation idéale

Logement très bien situé, au pied des pistes, à deux pas des commerces et la gare routière. L'appartement est agréable et bien équipé et la résidence bien entretenue. Parfaite communication avec les propriétaires malgré la distance et la différence de langue.

We bought this property as it has a home from home feel about it. It has lovely views of the mountains and the bedroom also faces the mountains, so it is nice and quiet at night.
