The location of the Watson home cannot be beat! You are around the corner from Hanalei town and steps from the beach. The backyard and outdoor areas are beautiful - we spent so many hours admiring the view. It’s spacious and well outfitted!

The home itself is spacious and well stocked. the backyard has breath taking views and plenty of room for littles to run around. it is a quick 2 minute walk to Hanalei Bay and about 5 minute walk from the shops. It has an outdoor shower they was perfect for kids to rinse off before coming into the house. we appreciated how easy it was to drop off/pick up keys, as the office is very close to the airport. We cannot wait to return and absolutely will be looking to rent the Watson house again!!

This property was a great location for our stay. Layout worked out well for the family as the downstairs was like a separate living space with sleeping. Had 3 adult boys down there and 2 couple up stairs. Overall great stay and would return here.

Perfect family house.

This was the first time we were able to get on Spring Break with my brother’s family, as they live way too far. This place was perfect for 7 of us. Kitchen had all the needed tools and gadgets to cook lots of dinners. Yard is amazing for tossing freebies or just playing catch. Close to any place we planned to visit. Highly recommend it.

Perfect location! Short walk to the beach and town. The house was spacious although we spent most of our time on the back covered lanai overlooking the lush gardens and mountains. The heated outdoor shower was a favorite amenity after a day at the beach. Thank you Watson family for sharing your piece of paradise!

So appreciative of everything the Watson Home had to offer. We loved the lanai and enjoyed the mountain views and all the birds, even the bird seed! Kauai Vacation Rentals made the whole process super easy with checking in and out and setting everything up before hand. Highly recommend them and this home. Would stay there again if I return to Hanalei with a group of 6-8!

Hanalei Tranquility

This was our 8th trip to Hanalei and our second time staying in the Watson Home. We love this house and would stay here again. It is clean and light and roomy-- a great space for a group (we were 8 adults)--of family and friends to relax and hang out. Great access to the beach via the walking path near by. The kitchen is well-stocked (we cook a lot) as is the gear room with: 6 beach chairs, many ice chests, two umbrellas, and two boogie boards. The back deck on the second floor overlooks a verdant green jungle scene and is a lovely place to nap or play cards or just hang out. It is a home...you can tell someone owns it and cares for it and that you are getting to share their special vacation home. The Kaua'i Vacation Rental company was fantastic to work with--very responsive and kind.

Great family house!

The Watson House was perfect for our multigenerational family! Our son, his wife and their 10 month old baby were were so pleased to have their own space downstairs in the one bedroom studio. Baby could nap while the grownups hung out upstairs. I loved the spacious back deck for lounging, as well as for enjoying our dinners. It had a glorious view of the lush back garden and the majestic Kauai mountains. It was well stocked with beach outing gear. The beds were extremely comfortable. I would have enjoyed a larger selection of herbs and spices, as well as better quality body soaps. As an owner of a vacation rental myself...I also provide nice shampoos/conditioners. The location is perfect...an easy walk to town and to Hanalei Beach. I would definitely stay in this house again. Thanks!

Short 5 minute walk and there was a wagon for pulling chairs, umbrella, cooler, and boogie boards which were all available at the house for your use. The back porch was our favorite part of the house and we ate most meals. The kitchen was well stocked and the gas grill was simple to use. The only issue we had was the house was hot. We had to close up the bedrooms at night because the only source of ventilation was glass siding doors in the bedrooms. Due to an increase in break ins on the island we weren’t comfortable leaving the doors open and using the screen doors open for ventilation. Air condition in the bedrooms would definitely make for a better stay. The house was clean and the rental company responded to our issues immediately.

Super Convenient Location

What a wonderful, comfy home right near the beach and downtown Hanalei shops! We had everything we needed to make our vacation perfect and relaxing, including a nice blender to make fresh fruit smoothies every morning. The owners are fantastic to work with as well!
