April 2022 trip to Sanibel Island

Wonderful l!

Our family has been coming to Sanibel for over 10 years. We love IBC and will certainly come again! The only change I would make are room darkening curtains for the bedrooms. Other than that...perfect!

Lovely space on beautiful beach

The overall complex is right on the beach so it’s just a short walk down the sidewalk to get right on. The beach itself was a beautiful stretch and we found lots of great shells. If that’s your think definitely take a Day trip to Cayo Island from captiva on the ferry. Huge conch and Sand dollars everywhere. The condo was well laid out with a nice kitchen and living area to relax. There is a nice Lenai around the living room that was screened in so we could leave the doors open and get lots of fresh air and listen to the sea. Nice view of the ocean from one side.The Mgt company was very responsive and super sweet and accommodating. Had all the amenities we needed for our stay. My upgrade suggestion would be to greatly improve the toilet paper quality and give a 4 pack to each bathroom per week stay. Also upgrade the papertowels. They were so bad the perforation didn’t even go through. We had to buy our own. The beds should be a bit more comfortable, time to upgrade the mattresses to a pillow top or temperapedic and softer pillows. Great value for the money since a third of the day is spent in bed. That’s just our preference but find the same for others. Would be likely worth while to have a king or queen in both rooms as the twins were very tiny and not ideal for a second couple sharing the place. Other than those suggestions we enjoyed the property very much and would book it again for our next visit.

We have stayed at Island Beach Club before and were not disappointed on our most recent stay. The pool is amazing and the condo is very close to the beach. The furnishings are beachy without being overboard and the kitchen appliances were all up to date. There were plenty of beach items for our use and also plenty of linens, books and puzzles if we needed. Our only complaints (but they’re not anything that would prevent us from recommending the unit) were the TVs were pretty out dated, but still worked well enough. The bed was VERY firm which didn’t work for me but my husband said it was comfortable for him. All of the residents and visitors at the complex were friendly and welcoming. We wished we could have stayed another week!

The condo is always clean and a pleasure to stay in. We love that the beach is a 2 minute walk away. We have two small kids and the hosts offer high chairs and a pack n play. The pool is rather quiet and you get the sense that any noise the kids make might not be endured for too long - but overall we enjoy our stay in Sanibel.

Staff, owners and other renters are very friendly. Sunrises and sunsets from here are fabulous.The staff of Select Vacations on Sanibel are the best. They always work to make your stay a very positive experience.I would recommend working with this staff to plan a very enjoyable vacation on Sanibel.

All in a very good shape, expet that most of the knifes are not cutting anymore. The organisation was excellent.We where there for one week with two kids (7/4 years). Most of the time we cooked by ourselfe. Ther is a nice mussle museeum we have visited. There where not many other kids in the area and if one of the kid made a little noise after 9pm, the lady below us called all the time that the kids are too loud and that they woke her up.

They are very receptive to your concerns and take them seriously.I truly enjoy staying in P4B at Island Beach Club. I really enjoy the kitchen (the dishwasher is hyper sensitive however.). The view is lovely. The grounds are well maintained. I hope to be able to continue staying there for years to come.

IBC unit P4B is a great!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: P4B has been recently renovated, and they did a wonderful job. The availability of a high chair really helped (there are also two Graco pack n'plays.) The only negative thing is that the porch furniture should have been part of the updating - paint is peeling off the chairs.We've rented P4B several times and highly recommend this unit. We also enjoy the amenities of Island Beach Club and recommend it over other complexes - quiet, great swimming pool, and good access to the beach.
