Paradise on the beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Condo is exactly as advertised. Total remodel after hurricane is breathtakingly beautiful, just like out of a magazine. Kitchen is very well stocked. Lots of linens and even beach towels! Everything you need to go to the beach is available in the private storage area. We felt very pampered having all of these amenities. Quiet place. Can’t wait to visit again and highly recommend it to anyone going to Sanibel.

Beautiful Property

We had an amazing week at this unit in Sanibel. Everything was as shown in the pictures. Great location to the beach, grocery store and local shops!

A lovely unit in an immaculate property

C104 was a very well appointed unit with updated kitchen and bathrooms. The location on Sanibel is A1, and the views from the screened lanai perfect. We enjoyed daily manatee and turtle sitings. We really appreciated the excellent facilities like the perfect pickleball courts and beautifully maintained communal bbq's. Kitchen was well stocked and property manager provided a 'starter kit' which offered soap, TP, laundry and dish.soap, garbage bags etc which was much appreciated. Other amenities such as full size laundry made the stay easy. Unit was perfectly clean and ready early for us. The only constructive criticism I would offer is in line with a couple of other reviews. We were surprised to find a beach locker that offered some beach chairs that were stained and old and no umbrellas. We ended up living with the chairs and renting umbrellas, but having rented at other places, providing decent 4 chairs and 2 umbrellas is normally part of the rental and I would have expected it here too. Bed sheets could do with an upgrade (but were fine) and twin bed mattresses are pretty soft/old.

The pool was quiet and the beach was not crowded. Everything was clean and it was great to have access to beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys, etc. Would definitely rent here again!

Overall great!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was a super easy check in and very clean. The property is very well maintained and we enjoyed the grill and pool in addition to the ocean. We had groceries delivered the day of our arrival (they can do this even if you haven’t checked in yet) from Bailey’s. Great customer service there as well. We appreciate the extras from Select Vacation Properties with the laundry detergent, dishwasher soap, trash bags and dish soap/sponge and all of the recommendations from Christopher. The bathrooms were nice and clean. The kitchen was well appointed and the beds were comfortable (although the master could use some new bed pillows). We would definitely stay at this condo again. Thank you!

Recommended - Great, private corner property close to beach and separated from boardwalk.

What it was represented to be. Our thanks to the owner. As a "helpful" comment, the only recommendation is that storeroom for beach furniture needs to be emptied and replaced. Two average chairs and two broken umbrellas plus a bunch of lesser items.

Great location - a little TLC needed

Sanibel is paradise! This unit had a very well stocked kitchen - tons of dishes and serving pieces. Plenty of beach chairs & sand castle building supplies. There were less than optimal linens (stained) and some paintwork that let the unit down a little. Overall we really enjoyed our stay! There was a problem with recycling - it was never picked up during our stay (which I reported to the property mgmt company), the recycling bins were overflowing and on our check out day, someone (possibly a resident), was seen putting the excess recycling into the trash! For such an eco conscious island this was very disappointing :-(.

Our Week In Sanibel

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a great time on Sanibel and the beachfront condo was pretty much what we were looking for. It was clean well equipped and comfortable. The only minor inconvienence was that it was presented as handicapped accessible and while the front door was 36" wide the bedroom and bathrooms were smaller and a bit of a squeeze for my walker. If you are in a wheelchair it might not work for you, that being said the deck and elevator made it fine for us and we had a great stay. Enjoyed Doc Ford's, Lazy Flamingo and Timbers Restaurants. Also had great take out chicken and pies from Pecking Order. Check in and out were seamless and Internet was easy and fast.

Amenities were good-lots of beach toys, boogie boards, chairs etc. A new beach umbrella is needed. Inside furnishings are nice, beds comfortable, kitchen well stocked with all necessary dishes. Master bath shower is upgraded and lovely. Under-sink cabinet is water damaged and in need of repair, but it’s only cosmetic.Only complaint was construction in the unit above us for 3 out of 7 days! Overall, great place for a relaxing or active vacation.

Place is excellent!

Easy to rent and such an amazing relaxing vacation! There is a stackable washer and dryer within the unit which was so important—and super convenient— as we came in from the beach twice daily needing towels washed/dried! Place was spotless. My kids loved the decor and thought it was so fancy! Also had boogie boards and an umbrella and chairs (and a ton of sand toys!) for beach goers. We had the time of our life!

I am a "picky" person. I had many questions before we reserved this condo. The agent I contacted was very patient in answering my questions. I have got to say that this unit is amazing. I found NOTHING wrong with it in the least. I was concerned that the view was not going to be as I wanted since it was on the first floor. It actually was MUCH better than the photo. The first floor is raised so it was almost like a second floor condo. We rarely took the elevator since it was quicker and more convenient to just use the few stairs. I'm in my 70's and had no problem. The walk to the beach is also shorter than it appears in the photo. The grounds are very well kept. The kitchen is extremely well stocked. There were even serving pieces if you want to set a special table. Only addition I would suggest is a griddle. Making pancakes was a little tricky. However, don't let that discourage you. You cannot believe all that is included. Two kinds of coffeemaker....Keurig and regular. The screened in lanai with ceiling fan was a perfect place for that morning cup of coffee. Being a corner unit provided a view from many rooms and offered a panoramic view from the lanai. I have learned to be concerned about "creative photography" when looking at lodgings. I can say that this was perfectly presented. Everything was better than I expected. We have stayed in many beach condos and this ranks with the top.

This property works perfectly for our family of 5. It is clean, well maintained, well equipped, very close to a very uncrowded beach and the same can said of the pool. We've stayed twice and both times have found the complex to be both very family friendly but at the same time not at all raucous and loud. Geographically it sits close to anything you could possibly need that Sanibel has to offer. If you've never stayed here and are on the fence at all about booking, get off the fence and do it. You'll be very happy that you did.

We found the unit to be exactly as it was described. The property was clean and well maintained inside and outside. The furnishings were attractive and comfortable. There was plenty of space and storage. The lanai was where we started and ended each day. Beach equipment was available for our use. The pathways to the beach had a lot of charm and the pool was pristine.We loved the beach with all the shells and pure sand.The Sand Dollar was convenient to restaurants and many interesting activities. Chris (Select Vacations) was always available when needed.We loved the boat ride to Cayo Casta State Park an island off Captiva known for shelling and beautiful beaches. Over Easy is a great breakfast venue you should be hungry. Timbers, 400 Rabbits, Doc Frank's, and Island Cow a fun family eatery served very good meals.
