We had a girls trip to Spanish Wells for 4 days. We were fortunate enough to find The Sand Castle Beach Cottage to accommodate us; Perfect little beach cottage! Nice and clean, plenty of water toys to use (we were too old to use anything but the floats). The hammock was very nice. The view was amazing and the cottage was just down the road from PaPa Scoops! Just a great place all around.

Beautiful beach!

I've vacationed here several times. White sand, feet from water. Delicious grouper and golf cart rmakes it easy to get around....great place for kids with all the beach toys!

Great location

Wonderful trip with an amazing location. Great place to stay and take in the views with convenient beach access. Lots of toy (paddle boards, kayaks and some beach toys). Second time staying here and love it!

Relaxing Vacation

This is an amazing location on the north side of Spanish Wells. Home has all you need and close to grocery store. Host was very helpful and responsive.

A Perfect Place to Stay

Such a beautiful spot! My kids loved the kayaks. There were older sand toys and an umbrella stroller available, too. We hope to return soon!

Amazing location

We have stayed all over the world and right on the beach at this house is one of the best views ever. Amazing for up to 6 people or combine house next door for 10 to 12! Kayaks and bikes was a nice addition.

A perfect spot to relax and play. The cottage has everything you need and a great location! We walked the beach, paddle boarded and enjoyed the view all day long. The booking and check in was easy. We would definitely like to stay here again.

Great Week

The process was made really easy by Andre. he helped set up transportation and golf cart rental. Getting to the property was flawless even on a Sunday Check in. The house is in a great area of the island close to everything. It was clean and had all the necessities. The view is outstanding and the sandbar out front kept the kids entertained all day.

Extremely Comfortable

Our three-week stay at this property was exceptional. Everything needed is within walking distance. We did rent a golf cart to travel the island and find other beaches when it was extremely windy. There is no problem with the beach in front of the house during high tide. You merely need to walk to either side of the retaining wall for another mile and one-half of beach. Spanish Wells is very clean, no crime, no large amount of poverty. All the homes and grounds are very nice and well maintained. This property is definitely the place to go for a relaxing vacation.

Perfect beach bungalow

This location cannot be better. It is on the Northside Beach with access to the sandbar and a long sandy beach. It is mid island so close to everything; Cathy’s Bakery, food trucks, two markets, Budda’s, Wreckers, and more. The house was stocked w everything you could need including every kind of water toy, rafts, kayaks, paddle boards, bikes, towels etc. The kitchen was stocked and there was even a stocked desk. There was soap, shampoo etc in bathrooms and kitchen. You can sit in the yard at the edge of the beach, in the many outdoor chairs, hammocks and loungers, use the private stairs or the adjacent beach access. As stated in the description there is an attached house but there is a garage and laundry room between them so no common wall. We met the two fun couples who stayed next door for part of our stay. We also met several locals using the access. But there was never more than a handful of people in site. Everyone who I was in contact with thru this reservation was quick to respond and helpful. It really is a perfect spot on the safest and best island with the nicest people.

Perfect location for family

Our extended family rented both cottages and it was super convenient for us. The beach-side location is great, as well as being very central in Spanish Wells. We also had a great cart from Harbourside Cart Rentals. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Spot

The cottage is located on the most beautiful beach on Spanish Wells...truly amazing. The cottage has everything you need to enjoy your vacation, and is centrally located on the island. The kitchen is well stocked to cook if you like, and the gas grill outside is great. Spanish Wells is very laid back, and that's exactly what we were looking for. We will longer next time! Highly recommend this place.

WOW! JUST WOW!!

This cottage stay was one of my best vacations ever! I am always seeking wonderful beach getaways & I'm not so much about touristy areas any longer. Spanish Wells fits the bill perfectly & the Sand Castle & Sand Dollar cottages are excellent. The location cannot be beat...on a perfect part of the beach with the sand bar right in front, every day. The properties have so many beach toys that you have plenty to do every day: kayaks, paddleboards, all kinds of floats and life vests if you need them - perfect for kids. The water is a calm beautiful blue/green. No waves, so don't expect that. The home was super clean & had everything we needed. the cottages are connected by an interior "breezeway", so you do not hear any of your neighbors' noise. There is a beach access road/path right next to the property, so you can expect to possibly see some people stroll by & hang out on that part of the beach, but these are mostly local people. There was a tour group that came through daily & stayed for about 45 minutes. You should keep in mind that if you only rent one cottage that you may have neighbors. We do recommend renting a golf cart - it makes it nice to get around the island (including Russell Island). The property provides bicycles, but a golf cart was fun to have. Suzanne, the property manager was great! She checked in periodically & helped us with anything we needed. We will definitely be back!

This cottage can meet all your needs during your stay here in Spanish Wells. It is located centrally on the island so everything is right at your fingertips. You are just a few steps from the beautiful North Side beach which stretches the entire north side of the island.

Sand Castle Cottage is located at the end of 15th street which makes it a very quiet and relaxing property to stay at. You have a view of the beach from everywhere in the cottage.
Take the kayaks out for a ride, a nice long walk on the beach or just relax in the hammocks. This cottage is sure to not disappoint you in any way!
