Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Channel View is unlike anything else. Where else can you spend quality time with friends and family while enjoying a heated pool in the Fall/Winter, quality pier fishing out your front door, and watching epic tankers cruise by (look for dolphins at the bow!).

We had an easy check in and check out, the other guest was pleasant to be around, and the location was great. The fishing was amazing and the pier was safe for kids! Overall the stay was great, I would recommend to others and come back myself! Only thing I would criticize is the mattresses and bedding are uncomfortable (but that is a personal preference). But it was no big deal for a 2 night stay. Thank you!

Nice Retreat

My friend and I took our 2 youngest (teenagers) for a short Spring Break getaway. This condo was perfect for our stay. Was very clean, had all the amenities, definitely appreciated the elevator (once we saw it), and loved the heated pool, since it was cooler when we stayed. The only recommendation would be a little softer sheets for the beds, and for the full length mirror to actually be attached to the wall (my friend accidentally bumped it and it fell over and shattered 🙁) We spoiled ourselves and ate out for all of our meals, but still appreciated the kitchen being stocked in case we choose to use it. Would highly recommend this place!

Great getaway! Love love the pier!

Fantastic Place!

This was such a nice, comfortable condo! Everything was perfect: location, cleanliness, lovely design, and a really comfortable bed. And it was so nice to have a washer and dryer on the premises. We can't wait to go back!

Beautiful Place

This condo is beautiful and just the right size for us. The private pier did not disappoint and we actually caught a good amount of fish. The swimming pool is clean, has a beach rinse off, a covered seating area that is large, and a restroom. Check in and Check out were easy! Overall great place. The only two things I wish were better would be adding a mirror to the pool restroom, and the lack of airflow in the elevator. These are both fixes for the condo facility and not the actual condo I stayed in.

Unfortunately the security gate was not working during our entire stay which allowed non quests to come and go on the fishing pier. The room was great but the fishing was not so great as these non quests were camped out at the end of the pier for hours at a time.

Beautiful but not for senior citizens

Reviewer Comments: Room was beautiful, beds were comfortable, kitchen fully equipped. But somethings need correction. We had to wash the bathroom and kitchen towels and washcloths. Not enough for our 4 day stay. Advertised an elevator but it quit working on the 2nd day and no maintenance available to report it or correct it. Called Hospitality and the guy we talked to was ZERO HELP! Said he didn't work for the properties??? Then why was his number given for reporting maintenance issues. FINALLY on Monday the elevator started working but no one informed us of that.Yhe main reason i rented this property was for the elevator. I'm 74 years old and don't take to climbing stairs. To top it all off, the advertised lights on the pier went out at 3:43 am just as the fish started biting. The living room TV wasn't set up properly when the owner? Bought it. Maintaining came on 1st day, had to reconfigure the TV setup but we still had to use 2 remotes. Bedroom rug was curled up at the entrance creating a trip hazard. Maintenance just rolled it down, no tape etc. Next morning it was curled back up. Old people don't need any trip hazards. No weekend maintenance support.

Nice property

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in 204, kitchen well stocked, seating and beds were comfortable. Plenty of linens. There was a nice "starter kit" of soap, shampoo. 2 problems; there are no blinds or draperies on the large living rm windows, so at night there is no privacy. Also TV remote isn't working & has been on order since 3/18/21. Mgmt was very responsive to our service request, but that didn't fix the remote. I would rent again at Channelview, but probably not 204 if they don't add window treatments.
