The Beachcomber

Esta casa de 9 años bellamente amueblada y decorada no es un alquiler ordinario. La casa es muy espaciosa ... todos pueden tener su propia privacidad y hermosa vista al mar. Cada habitación tiene puertas correderas para acceder a las cubiertas exteriores. ¡Observe a los delfines, rayas y manatíes desde su balcón! ¡El patio trasero de Beachcomber es la playa! ¡Completo con sillas de playa, juguetes de arena y una ducha al aire libre (agua tibia también)! A solo 5 minutos al norte de St. Agustín (20 minutos a Ponte Vedra), este es realmente un hogar excepcional.
Disfrute de una gran cocina / comedor / Gran sala con muebles nuevos y TV de pantalla plana nueva, cable, barra de desayuno y mesa de comedor ... todos con maravillosas vistas al océano. Salga a una de las dos cubiertas y vea el amanecer o tome cócteles por la noche.

Las tres habitaciones tienen su propio baño con bañera de hidromasaje y ducha en la suite del dormitorio principal. Reyes en dos habitaciones y una reina en la otra. Televisores en todas las habitaciones y todas dan al océano.

También hay un futón en el Maestro. Puede dormir de 6 a 9 con la cama futón en una de las habitaciones y un par de camas de aire para los niños.

Los visitantes de Beachcomber también tienen la opción de unirse al fantástico Serenata Beach Club a solo dos millas al norte.

Perfect Beach House

This property met all the hopes we had for our vacation. We came prepared but really did not need to be, as this was the most completely stocked rental I've ever visited. That includes linens, towels, dish warm, cookware and beach towels and toys. The vibe was homey and beachy and we had PLENTY of room. My son and his fiancé married on the beach in a beautiful, intimate oceanfront ceremony. Great vacation home with great amenities! Thank you so much

Nice house with easy access to the beach

The house is very nice, clean, and provided both the separation and the closeness that we were looking for on a family vacation. The beach is easily accessible and all we could ask for in a vacation house. Unfortunately, our vacation was marred by the presence of 3 very vicious dogs (2 dobermans, and 1 pit bull) at the house next-door to this one, in very close proximity to the only walkway to the beach. We felt threatened when walking along the sidewalk in close proximity to the growling animals. We reported it to the owner and took videos of the situation, but I guess there's not much that can be done unless the dogs actually bite somebody. Our adult kids were so terrified of the dogs that they left mid-week of our stay. It's also worth a mention that the house is right on a busy road, and the driveway situation was almost untenable. It is extremely steep, with no visibility when trying to back-out onto the main road. Someone had to stand in the roadway and stop traffic every time we left the house. This is not a house for the elderly or anyone not able to climb stairs and negotiate the difficult driveway situation. The combination of the vicious dogs and the driveway situation would preclude our returning to this particular house.

Beautiful views and so much space for a big family bacay

We loved this property. The owner already had everything you’d need there. The outdoor showers, double decks, roomy closets and more made for a great daily vacay at the beach. The views are breathtaking, and we were close to very thing we needed!

Location loacation location

The Location of the house was just steps from the water. Everything we could have hoped for. The driveway was a bit scary getting out of so use caution on the very busy road. The house had everything we needed. Plenty of room. Only recommenation is to update the table in the eating area s the chairs were very rickety to sit in. Kitchen was well stocked. Overall the house needs some updating and fresh paint, etc, but provided our family everything we needed and we would recommend anyone to stay here. Our vacation was just wonderful in this paradise!

very nice, views as you get upstairs are fantastic. the parking is challenging being close to the road and a blocked view south but with patience it worked out fine. if garage was available for two cars would make additional guest parking easier.

The location is fantastic, everything you want in a relaxing beach vacation.

Beach was amazing, host was amazing. Very easy to work with and worked with us graciously on a couple extra requests that just made our stay that much better. Highly recommend!

Our favorite place

We have stayed here a few times, and it's become our favorite place to stay. The home is perfectly situated right on the beach, and close to downtown St Augustine. Each room has its own view of the ocean. The space is private, clean, and can't be beat. Additionally, Kendra is an amazing person. She was so kind and supportive when our senior doggo fell ill during our trip. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with renting this home from Kendra. It's just the best all around.

Great location right by the beach, spacey for family, and price was reasonable

I will list the only downfall first, the driveway is very steep and right on the main road (A1A), not easy to park or fit into the garage size. Thankfully, we only had 2 cars. The rest is fantastic, house was decent size for our group of 6, and access to the beach was right in the back stairway. Plenty of towels provided for beach and bath, a grocery store was close by for food options, and St. Augustine attractions were within 10 minutes too. I would ask the owner to maybe buy a pizza pan, pizza cutter, and possibly a griddle for pancakes too. Give the guest more options to work with for food. Other than that, property owner was pleasant to work with and even allowed us to stay an extra night. Highly recommend!

Great Summer/Beach Family Vacation

Parking was challenging

The view was spectacular. The home was a little "worn" but clean when we arrived. Don't take over 2 cars - getting in-out of driveway is dangerous and need someone to stay out of car to help you get out. Would probably be fine with one car.

Vacation 2021

Property was exactly as pictured. Easy check in process. The beach is like having your own private space. We had our son and daughter-in-law with their children. Also it’s very pet friendly. Kitchen is well stocked and very close to all activities in the downtown area. Restaurants close by are Aunt Kate’s, the Reef, Caps on the Water and Kingfish Grill. We will definitely book this rental again. Thanks for such a great place to spend our Vacation 2021.

Awesome Location!

The location of the property is truly outstanding! Setup of the house was terrific with multiple decks overlooking the ocean and the sound of waves lapping on the beach every night - just perfect! Kendra was a fantastic host and she is continuing to reinvest and improve the property. The large dune down to the beach is a bit tricky and would benefit from a stairway and hopefully that is one of the improvements to come in the future. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would be happy to stay at this property again.

Absolutely perfect and CLEAN!

I cannot express how satisfied I was staying here. My number one priority everywhere I go is the cleanliness, especially in the shower and kitchen. This property was super clean. I felt so relaxed the second I saw how clean everything was. At most properties I’ve stayed at I would have such a small amount of towels and some were old and ratty. The towels here were white and not ratty. The bathroom mats were even bright white. The kitchen had several pots, pans, cups, plates, wine glasses, etc. Everything matches and there was ample. I know this may sound ridiculous, but it’s those small things that make you feel at home and relaxed. Every single room in the house has a full beach view. Not a partial view, but a full beach view. Every room has its own bathroom. The master was huge and the bathroom was great! They had all the beach supplies you need. Umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards, toys, etc. This location was absolutely perfect. We spent all our mornings sitting on the patio drinking coffee and the kids could play in the sand below us. The beach was calm and quiet. We had 4 adults and 4 kids and we all had more than enough rooms and beds. This place was a gem and we will definitely be back! Thank you for such a wonderful stay! Thank you for going the extra mile to ensure it’s clean and smells great!

The Beach is your backyard

This is our second stay at this property. Being right on the beach is the number one amenity!! There are plenty of beach toys, chairs, and towels. We utilized the kitchen and grill on the property and only ate out once! I would just add at least one more 10-12" pan. The property just got some new sand right in front that cover the stairs down to the beach. We didn't have a problem getting down, but it may be problematic for someone that needs a hand rail.

Prefect Family Vacation Property

We just wrapped up a month stay at the property and we were delighted. Outstanding beach front property that is super comfortable. Every bedroom had access to beach front decks with breathtaking views. The beds and TV room furniture were very comfortable, to the point that were were looking for the maker of the sectional and chair so we can buy them for our home. The best part is the property is pet friendly so we were able to share the vacation with our dogs. We will have fantastic memories and photos from our stay. We are planning to be back soon!!!

fabulous beach getaway

Fantastic beach home ON THE OCEAN. Don't think you could get much closer. Loved that all bedrooms have balcony access and furniture placed to face the ocean. Should've kept this place a secret so I can come back again!

Every activity from the first contact with Vrbo to our checkout contact went spectacularly beautifully. Kendra was always easy to contact, efficient in her response time, and a delight to have as a primary contact. We would definitely use all resources again.

Excellent stay!

We had a very good experience at this house. It was so close to the ocean, with a beach that was almost private. We could hear the waves breaking with the windows open as we slept at night. The house had everything we needed and we especially enjoyed the picnic table on the balcony and the opportunity to sit on the balcony on the second or the third floor and see the sunrise over the ocean. Magnificent! The house had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable.

The house is just in front of the beach so either you can enjoy of the ocean just a couple steps away or you can enjoy the beautiful view from the house

Relaxing and Enjoyable

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Beachcomber. It was relaxing and wow the views! The house is getting old and definitely needs some work, but overall it was a great stay!
