2002 de madera construida de cara a casa con 2 dormitorios, gran loft, y 2 baños completos. La gran envoltura alrededor de la cubierta tiene vistas al lago y boscosas. Plan de piso abierto, con enormes ventanas de gran tamaño, que dan al lago. Casa también cuenta con techos altos, chimenea de gas propano, gama, microondas, nevera, lavadora y secadora. entorno muy privado donde se puede disfrutar de la parrilla en la terraza o simplemente relajarse para ver la puesta de sol sobre el agua. Glen de Rickett y Parques estado del extremo del mundo dentro de los 30 minutos. Ciudad de Dushore es de 10 minutos, con supermercados, bancos, ferreterías y 5 restaurantes. El histórico Eagles Mere está a 35 minutos con tiendas y restaurantes. Wifi gratuito disponible.

We loved it! Notes with instructions inside were very helpful and straightforward. There was no need for us to reach out to the host.The cabin was more secluded than what we expected and we were unbothered, which we loved. The scenery was beautiful. The fireplace was nice. Had everything we were looking for. We went fishing right at the bank, each caught fish right away.Although the town is close, there is about a mile or two of rough/gravel road to get in and out, so if you don’t plan to leave during your stay, make sure you have everything. We can’t wait to go back!

Nice place with great views! We also enjoyed the bald eagles, Canadian geese, and most of all the frolicking otters. We would definitely rent again.

Truly a beautiful, secluded setting with a large fire pit overlooking a magnificent sunset view of the pond. The house is airy and clean, and the shower water pressure and hot water plentiful. Beds were comfortable. Margo was a very responsive hostess. Would love to come back someday.

Beautiful location and cabin! Easy check-in and written instructions upon arrival were very useful. Lake access for fishing could have been better, but the grandson and his friend made it work.

Very happy with how clean we found the cabin. Loved the seclusion and all the amenities. We took kayaks and the fishing was great. We saw three otters, bald eagle, ducks and many deer. One and only complaint is I wish we had a weed wacker to make the path down to the water a little more passable. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful house with great view

The house was very nice, clean and well decorated. Kitchen was well stocked. The view over the deck onto the pond was really beautiful at sunset. The parking is tight if you have more than 1 car. Our kids and grandkids were supposed to come, but couldn't make it so my husband and I had the house all to ourselves. If they were there, the parking would have been a little difficult, with not much room to turn around and not a driveway you can back out of (at least we didn't think so). Once you got off the paved road, there was about 1.5 miles of gravel, with lots of pot holes, so very slow going. That's really the only complaint.. other than that we thought the place was fabulous.

Much Needed R&R

We were looking for a quick getaway to hike and take a moment to unplug from our busy schedules. This spot was perfect. The deck overlooking the pond was perfect for meals outside, morning coffee, and the sunsets were spectacular.The location was fantastic- close to our favorite hiking trails. We hope to book in the future.

Great Remote Property

My husband and I had a short one night stay at the remote property. We were supposed to stay two nights, but we cut the trip short due to illness. The cabin was nice with a beautiful view. Extremely remote, more so than we expected. We were unable to start the fireplace. I reached out to the host and she was very responsive, but we were still unable to get it going.

Beautiful setting

The space is great and the setting is beautiful. We just didn't read the notes well enough to know that we needed to bring our own sheets and towels and the area is very remote, so there's no just running out and buying some.

Peaceful get away

It’s a secluded cabin with a beautiful view ! We would stay again. We hiked at world’s end state park about 30 min away and went to Knoebels about an hour and a half away.

Just fine

Pretty spot, house was serviceable but by no means exceptional. The pros: the location was lovely and the manager was easy to communicate with and allowed us, last minute , to check out an hour late. The cons: it needed a little refresh: the shower curtain had some mildew, the microfiber couch had some stains, the non-stick pots were scratched etc. Overall, I'd stay there again if I were in the area but it didn't blow me away like I was expecting based on other reviews.

Beautiful place

The house was beautiful, with a deck overlooking a pond and a nice, clean interior. We had a little challenge when we first arrived with a downed tree blocking the driveway about 150 yards from the house. But we contacted the manager who quickly arranged for someone to come out to clear it. Within two hours it was removed. All in all, one of the nicest VRBOs we’ve stayed in.

Perfect little getaway

We loved staying at this property! The view from the porch is beautiful from sunrise to sunset. It was nice having two bathrooms located off of both of the downstairs bathrooms. The host provided quick responses for any questions we had. Highly recommend!

30th Anniversary Getaway

Dushore Cabin

The property was given 4 stars on description as there isn't any mention or pictures of the entrance which consists of approximately 20 steps up to the deck. The cabin is located in a remote area away from the everyday noise...if you want quiet time, this one is definitely going to provide that. If you are good with limited access to TV and enjoy watching your own movies on DVD player or your own Netflix subscription, this is the place for you. Our stay was a great one and what we expected.

Nice short trip.

Checked in Saturday evening. Had beautiful day Sunday. Went to World’s End State park and hiked to Canyon Vista. Also went to high knob overlook. Hiked a total of 10 miles total on Sunday. Got a good night rest and checked out Monday.

Weekend getaway

The cabin was exactly as described. Very cozy and the view of beaver pond was perfect. We really enjoyed ourselves. We even caught a glimpse of a beaver. Great secluded spot in Sullivan county!
