Bonita casa en el corazón de los lagos finger en el moderno pueblo de Trumansburg, a solo 8 millas de Ithaca, a 1 milla de la bodega y cidery más cercana, a 4 millas del parque estatal Taughannock en Cayuga Lake y 15 millas del lago Seneca. Quiet and comfy

We especially enjoyed the screened porch surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature - plus our hostess was very kind and responsive when needed.

Everything about the house was great, from cleanliness, feel of home and close by to amazing restaurants and sights! (The waterfalls don't disappoint!) We had no issues at all and would definitely reserve again at this location and others by this host.

Great house for vacations.

Everything was wonderful. Very clean and roomy. Screened in porch was enjoyed by all. A couple of comments. There was no ice compartment in the refrigerator. We had no ice for drinks. Toaster did not work. Also no regular coffee pot. There was a French Press coffee maker and I have used one before so no problem.

What a lovely stay

Absolutely perfect stay. Walked in and felt so welcome! Owners are helpful and kind, the space is comfortable and clean. (Highlight- the home is so clean, you know they even have a housekeeper who wants you to enjoy your stay. I used to own a housekeeping business, this is my professional opinion!) We will be back, this is our new favorite spot upstate!

Great location and stay

This was a great stay! The location was very convenient and the property was great. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The deck was nice to spend time outside and the enclosed yard was really wonderful. The host was thoughtful and easy to communicate with. It was a great place!

Quiet Oasis in the Finger Lakes

We had an amazing time at Deborah's home! The location is great- just a 10-15 minute walk from the charming town of Trumansburg (we loved the farmer's market on Wednesday and getting take-out from New York Pizzeria) and a 20-25 minute drive to Ithaca and Watkins Glen. The backyard was beautiful, and our favorite part had to be the screened-in porch available to this side of the house. Deborah was also very responsive and helpful leading up to and during our stay. The only downside was that a few items had some wear and tear (linens, pool chairs, etc). Otherwise, this was a perfect spot for us to escape the city!

A beautiful getaway!

A beautiful getaway! We loved all the plants and flowers surrounding the house! Our kids loved the pool and the ability to walk into town to explore and get ice cream! Being able to bring our dogs on vacation with us something for which we are really grateful!

Dog friendly retreat in historic town

We had a great long weekend stay with our dog. The place was bigger than we pictured and well set up for our dog. We loved walking the dog in the neighborhood full of historic homes!

Lake house stay

My family enjoy this house tremendously. So quiet and peaceful yet close enough to enjoy Ithaca, Watkins Glen and the falls. Had a great stay. Would come again.

Great place for a relaxing getaway

My son, pup and I had a wonderful time here. The owners were great about answering questions. The property was clean and comfortable, and the neighborhood is charming and quiet - saw a family of deer run through the back yard one morning. If you wind up staying here, be sure to check out New York Pizzeria in Trumansburg - no menu, no delivery, but the best pizza!! Also, there's a great dog park in Ithaca that's not too far and well worth the drive. Hope to be back soon when visiting my Ithaca College student. Thanks, Deborah and Walter, for your hospitality!

Super pretty. Close to everything.

Our stay was a 3 day weekend to explore the Finger Lakes hiking trails. Perfect time to see the leaves changing and have some trails to ourselves. The cottage was huge and clean. We booked last minute and the owners were very accommodating. We would stay here again. Very lovely!

House is nice and spacious. While it was just my wife, son, our dogs and myself, i could see this place holding more people. One slight downside was the distance to ithaca. We thought it was closer, but its about a 20 minute drive which isnt that bad.

Trumansburg is a quaint town with beautiful scenery. The apartment was exactly what we needed. It was very clean and Deborah provided us with all of the information needed. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful Get Away close to the Wine Trail

This house was a great get away close to the wine trail! The neighborhood was quiet and the house was perfect for the 4 of us. There was plenty of space and the hard wood floors are beautiful. We loved the hot tub and the screened in porch. Just keep in mind there is no television though we didn't mind at all as we took in the wineries and the Taughannock State Park! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

It was everything I was hoping it would be!!!

The house was lovely. And clean! The owners, very easy to work with. The hot tub was a huge plus!!! And it was was of the only houses I could find where spending more than one night wasn't mandatory. I would definitely stay here again!!

Great stay, convenient location

Had a great stay in this spacious place. Lovely downstairs with fireplace and very roomy master upstairs with bathroom and large closet. Made a few suggestions for some minor improvements that were well taken by the owner. It was the perfect place within walking distance to relatives for our thanksgiving get together. And really close to Trumansburg village, so as long as weather is decent, can walk to town. Definitely recommend it for an easy home away from home.

Great stay for our 1st Anniversary!

We had a great stay here, the house was beautiful and very clean...we hope we were able to leave it in the same condition! The only thing we didn't realize was how thin the walls were, as we could smell everything the tenants next door were cooking (at least it smelled good!) and could hear their conversations clearly. I felt a little like we were imposing on them, considering we shared a deck and our dogs were outside a few times a day, but otherwise they were very kind and we very much liked the enclosed yard. Our only "complaint" was that the bed was a very soft, and we kind of rolled into the center making sleep a little difficult. Otherwise, we highly recommend this home and were very thankful to Deborah for her hospitality!

Great stay!

My wife and I loved our stay! Owners were very responsive and quite friendly. They were gone for the weekend but communicated everything clearly and were available for questions. Great screened in porch for sitting through a rain storm. Very comfortable couches for napping. Very open and spacious feel thoughout, so if you're looking to get away from the stress of a bustling city, and the clutter of your own home, this is the place. Peaceful, simple, and comfortable.

We loved our stay! Beautiful, airy, quiet and comfortable. Close to all area attractions.

We are a family of 3 (5 year old son). We were looking for a place where we could cook in if we wanted and have outdoor space to run and play and enjoy morning cup of coffee before site seeing for the day. The outdoor grill on the back deck overlooking pool is great for dinners and star gazing. The home it self is spacious, airy and comfortable. We especially loved screened in porch and the fresh air beezes. This property offered all that we were looking for. Property is as close as can be to many great attractions.

Beautiful Home

My husband and 2 young kids loved our stay! The house was clean and had a lot of open space. We enjoyed coffee on the screened-in porch where we even saw a few deer. Deborah was very thoughtful and hospitable! We look forward to another visit.
