Other than the vrbo listing/description being wrong with the bedding sizes and toilet not being cleaned—and a couple of minor issues, it was a nice unit. Right off the elevator, great view and location. We loved our stay overall.

2025 Vacay

Condo was nice! Furniture was different than what was shown but preferred what was there over what was shown…issues with microwave buttons would suggest replacing microwave …very impressed with the quick responses..definitely need to bring back up items such as toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags. Washer and dryer and extra ice maker was very convenient! Would definitely stay again

First time staying at Phoenix West. Condo was very nice and the grandkids love the slide and the lazy River. If is close to pretty much everywhere. The only “issue” I had was the vacuum and microwave. The vacuum was hard to push and I don’t think it had been emptied for a while and the microwave you could only use preset times. None of these were really bothersome but probably needs to be checked out! Would definitely stay here again if the occasion arises!

Our Stay

The condo cleanliness was a disappointment. We arrived and immediately walked out onto the balcony to look at the ocean and there was trash on the ground and the table had what looked like chocolate all over it. The chairs were not the cleanest. I kicked off my shoes while unpacking and it didn’t take long at all for my socks to be black on the bottom from the dirty floor. We moved the bed in the front bedroom to plug something in and realized that the bed frame was not even hooked to the headboard. The beds were not very comfy at all. It was disappointing to buy groceries to cook and then realize that the condo did not have measuring cups of any kind. We were happy about the amenities, especially the indoor pool since the weather was yucky most of the week. The hot tubs were in need of a major cleaning. There was what looked to be black mold all over the sides. We loved the water slide and lazy river the one nice day we were able to enjoy them. It was very frustrating to go out there on a pretty day however and there be no chairs available because people would put their things on them to save their spot and then they would be up in their room or out on the beach.

Great time at a great condo

Everything was great with our stay. The rooms were neat and clean upon arrival. The appliances and kitchenware was perfect. A/C kept up just fine during the temps over 110 heat index. Kudos to the owner for the ice maker at the wet bar, it was awesome to have in the condo during our stay. Thank you for an awesome week!

Amazing beach vacation

Everything was perfect. I will say the place needs a really good deap cleaning but other than that it was a perfect week. The property management we worked were so great to work with.

Family vacation 2024

The property and amenities were nice. The location was ok. The cleanliness of the bathrooms were subpar. There a dirty shower curtain in one of the bathrooms, the master shower was filthy. There was black crud in the corners of the shower, the tub dirty, and there was soap scum all over the shower doors and faucets. There was more than enough space for all 9 of us including a 1 year old. It was right on the beach and close to Walmart but kind of far from Foley and downtown OB. Would stay at this building again just probably not this unit. It was also able to accommodate a power wheel chair.

Good

The condo is very spacious and was clean and we like the new sofas. It was our first time visiting Orange Beach and unfortunately we didn't have good weather and we prefer more beachfront restaurants and bars; more places you can walk to. It is a great place for families with beautiful views.

Great Location / Needs a deep clean

This property is NOT privately owned! Rather it is owned by a rental company and then listed on VRBO, so there really isn't the typical "by owner." This lack of ownership shows in the unit. Everything was clean on the surface, showers cleaned, floors swept, clean linens, clean towels. But the longer we were in the unit (we stayed 10 days) the more we noticed. The carpet in the master bedroom was disgusting, the back side of the curtains were gross and maybe molding, the corners of the floors had not been cleaned, the walls needed wiped down. It is obvious that no one has any personal ownership in the property. All that being said, the location is amazing and the property management company was easy to work with. 50/50 on if we would stay here again.

Great family place

Very nice roomy condo . Very clean.. stocked with everything we needed and an absolute beautiful view from the balcony. Management was very helpful and prompt. Such a fun place for families with kids . We loved the lazy river and all of the pool options

Spring break 2023

Pros: condo was clean and well stocked. Had pots,pans,tons of glasses,bowls silverware. Coffee pot and Keurig. Great view from 10th floor,lazy river and water slide was a big hit wish it was heated though. Beach was beautiful,we rented beach chairs that was nice. Wish the beach was non smoking. Cons: walk in closet carpets need to be deep clean and shampoo in the master. Also bring extra blankets if u run cold the master had a very thin conforter and i was freezing. Also master bed is horribly noisy,i believe its the box spring. Every time we moved it was so loud please change that. The biggest con for us was getting the parking pass. Waiting in that line then get up there they need vin,make model driver license.front desk staff was slow and seem unorganized. Another rental agency had a QR code right at the desk. I feel this would be extremely helpful and faster please look into doing this. As this was a painfully slow and unorganized process. Elevators were busy but it was fine and everyone was helpful in holding doors and letting u on. I purpose chose and lower floor so we took the stairs a few times. Some construction going on when we were there but it wasnt horrible at least they wait led till 9am to start it. Overall the condo was great,location great. All the staff that we ran into were very nice. Glad we visited Orange Beach.

Location was great

The carpet in the closet was disgusting. There are broken tile on the bar and spakling spots on wall in one of the bathrooms. The walls are very thin, we could hear everything. For 3 days we listened to construction in a nearby unit. The outdoor pool and lazy river were not heated and it was unseasonably chilly during our visit. We were unable to use the tennis court due to construction.

Condo and beach was the best ever!

This condo has absolutely the most stunning view with the entire back side being glass. Ocean views while cooking, watching TV or dining. Balcony wonderful. Each bedroom has it’s own full bath and floor plan ensures maximum privacy. Facility beautiful with helpful staff and security visible throughout. Lazy river and beach wonderful, restaurants walkable. Will definitely add this to our list of favs!
