Esta es una de dos dormitorios de cuatro estaciones como en casa. sino que también tiene un gran espacio extra que utilizamos como una sala de estar adicional y la casa de literas. En realidad se puede dormir 16 si necesita. Tenemos un montón de kayaks y canoas para que pueda disfrutar del lago y los ríos que pasa por delante de la casa .. Los atardeceres son impresionantes. Perfect lake home for a relaxing family week. Quiet lake where we could enjoy paddle boarding. Large kitchen, with everything we needed. Love the large dining table for playing games and cards. Perfect getaway.

Beautiful sunsets

Kimberly was great to do business with. She was very accommodating and answered our questions promptly.The water was an easy stroll from the cabin. The shallow water in the beach area was great for the young children in our group. Loved the fire pit and all the water toys that were provided.

Hidden little Gem

Property was perfect for 2 family's of 4, kids loved the bunk room.Smaller lake but was nice cruising on our pontoon. Would definitely stay at this place again

Beautiful cabin for holiday weekend

Cabin had everything we needed and more for our Labor Day weekend with family. It had all the necessities in cabin and many fun activities for everyone to do. The sunsets were amazing! Would definitely go back!

Perfect cabin/lake for fun family vacation.

Clean, comfortable cabin with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy the lake!! We enjoyed using the paddle boards to explore the lake, and paddle boat for catching fish!! Kids enjoyed swimming and playing right off the dock! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook/grill our meals and then we enjoyed s’mores for dessert by the fire pit. Large dining table where we enjoyed playing cards/games. Perfect family vacation!!

Thought of everything!

Our first time with a VRBO rental. Kimberly has thought of EVERYTHING you would need. Canoes, kayaks & paddleboard were a huge hit with my family on a quiet lake. I personally loved having early morning coffee on the pier!

Up North Getaway!

This cabin has it all, every thing you need in the kitchen, plus paddle boards, paddle boat, and canoe. Fishing off the dock and a happy doggo who couldn't swim enough. Our crew spent most of the week at the golf course directly across the lake, you should have seen the look on the their faces when they realized the course was right there! LOL. Thanks for a wonderful adventure!

Beautiful view of the lake

Easy check in. Everything you could ask for! Beautiful cozy cabin. Our family enjoyed the large deck, looking over the lake. We all used the kayaks, canoes, paddle boards. A well made dock right in front of cabin where we docked our boat during the time we stayed there. We caught pike and bass on the boat but nothing off the dock. It was fine though we enjoyed playing in the water with such a awesome selection of water toys. Thank you Kimberly for our family to make such fun memories at your cozy cabin.

Perfect Lake Cabin Getaway

We had an amazing time at Kimberly's lake house! It was absolutely perfect. The view was spectacular, sunsets just wonderful. Kimberley went above and beyond to call me as we were headed there because of a mix up we'd had about check in. She has a plethora of small lake water crafts, and my 9 and 12 year old girls adored paddling around in kayaks, canoes and paddle boards. The lake was small enough I wasn't worried about them getting run over being out there on their own. It was my perfect idea of a cabin - not a pristine house, but a place that while totally clean, has been used and loved, so we could bring our dog to play along side us without being worried a bit of dirt would forfeit our deposit. We definitely want to go back again!

Peaceful Lakeside Location with Gorgeous Sunsets

This cabin was perfect for our multi-generational group of 7. It was very clean and tidy, but still very cabin-comfortable so you didn't have to stress out. The kitchen was well-equipped and the "bunk room" provided a fun space for the kids to sleep. (Plus it had black-out shades, so they slept longer than normal!) Outdoors, the bonfire pit was right on the water, which made for some really pretty evenings. And the cabin included a kayak, paddleboard, and other fun water gear which kept the kids busy for hours on end. Despite numerous attempts, we weren't able to catch any fish. The locals told us it was spawning season, so the fish weren't biting. Bad luck! Nonetheless, everything else went so well. Kimberly was very prompt in responding to our questions and had everything ready according to plan. We would definitely come back to her cabin again, and would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking for some R&R on a lovely, picturesque lake.

Another Glorious Stay at Barker Lake

My husband and I just spent 2 months at Kimberly's cabin and have already booked another 2 months for 2023. We had stayed here for a month in 2021 and knew we had to return for a longer time this year. We live in Florida and have been coming to the Hayward area every year since 2016 and Kimberly's cabin has been our best lake cabin ever. The cabin is spacious, clean, has flat land to the lake and dock, and was very comfortable. We ate many of our meals out and there are many wonderful restaurants in the Hayward and Winter areas for breakfast through dinner. The casino is only 25 minutes away. Kimberly is a fantastic host and was always available when needed, which wasn't often at all. We highly recommend this Barker Lake cabin!

Mid Week Get Away

We booked this lovely lakeside property because it's close to the camp where our daughter is working this summer. It exceeded all our expectations! It's a beautiful, comfortable house, with all the basics and much more provided. The deck outside the kitchen has a beautiful lake view and is a perfect place for morning coffee and sunset dinners. The long dock takes you right out into the lake, and the canoes and kayaks that are available let you explore Barker Lake in a leisurely way. We had a lovely 3 days.

Relaxing Girls Trip

This was our annual girls trip and we love this cabin so much that we only left once to go to Hayward for a few hours. We spent hours in the water trying out all the water toys! We paddled around almost the whole lake a few times! It was quiet, peaceful and perfect get away from the crazy busy city. The sunsets and views and were spectacular. The bugs chased us in at night but there were a chest of games and we enjoyed reading while looking at the lake! The kitchen is fully stocked. Kimberly was an amazing host- and very responsive. Would stay again for sure.

Loved, Loved Kimberly's Cabin

We are a retired couple who live in Florida and visit the Hayward area every Fall for a month. The Barker Lake cabin was without a doubt the best vacation in the area ever! We loved it so much we have rented it for two months in 2022. The property was as described and very spacious, clean, and comfortable. We appreciated the flat lawn to the lake and had fires most every night. My husband caught fish from the dock! We discovered great new restaurants in/near Winter, otherwise we ate at our favorites in/closer to Hayward. Being on vacation means little or no cooking even though the cabin's kitchen was well stocked with dishes, flatware, and cookware. The WiFi and Internet connections were wonderful without any interruptions. Kimberly has the cabin filled with items to pass the time and for outside lots of different types of water craft, bicycles, and golf clubs. Barker Lake was quiet and we loved watching the leaves turn color across the lake. Kimberly was easy to reach when necessary and was a wonderful host. We can't wait to return in 2022!

Great cabin fit our needs well!

Great cabin for large family or group! Lots of room, great deck and backyard! Interior is older, rustic and a bit nostalgic. The cabin had everything we needed. Most of the lake is pretty shallow but great for kayaking. Just minutes from the Chippewa flowage where we were fishing.
