Clean and welcoming apartment, amazing host!

We stayed at this apartment for two nights and were very happy with this choice. Conveniently located just minutes from water front and train station, it was ideal for exploring Cinque Terre. The host was very responsive. When we overloaded the circuit breaker late at night he showed up promptly to fix the issue making sure we have AC and electricity for the night. We would highly recommend this apartment as a home base for exploring the Cinque Terre and surroundings.

The apartment is very nice. Private with everything that was needed. Hosts were very quick to respond. Definitely recommend both La Spezia and the Lemon House!

Enjoyable well located apartment

Excellent to explore Cinque Terre

Very nice flat, it looks pristine. The bathroom is a luxury, with a beautiful bathtub. The floors are just to die for. The only downside is the noise in the street. Workers and trash people start to work too early in the street,making it a bit hard to sleep late.

Beautiful apartment, nice details

This is a beautiful apartment, very spacious and comfortable. The master bedroom has excellent storage and an air conditioner. The living room works well as a common area but not so well for a bedroom. Our teenage kids found the pull-out sofa bed small and uncomfortable. The heat required open windows at night, but street noise was excessive.

Wonderful apartment to serve as home base

The apartment was lovely. It was spacious and exceptionally clean, and the host provided a basket fully stocked with a number of toiletries just in case you needed them. We took full advantage of the bathtub after our hike - a rare treat! La Spezia was a great location from which to explore the Cinque Terre. The apartment itself was located a reasonable distance from the train station making travel between the towns very easy, it is more accessible than accommodations in any of the Cinque Terre villages are likely to be (aka while there are hills, they are not as pronounced, and there are no exterior stairs you must ascend to get there), and the price was definitely reasonable. The town itself is a bit rough around the edges relatively to some of the other communities we have visited on this trip, but we would definitely return to this property if we were in the area again.

Immaculate condo close to everything

This condo/apartment is in a very safe neighborhood just 3 blocks from the train station. A five minute train ride brings you to Cinque Terre- paradise! The condo is very comfortable, spacious and spotless. The manager, Giacomo is kind and he and his family live right next door. He is eager to help in any way and give great local tips on parking, Numerous restaurants and shops line a lively pedestrian street that runs for several blocks, just one block away. Would highly recommend this property.

Great location

The lemon house was exactly as shown in the pictures -clean, spacious and modern. Great location , few minutes walk from the train station which goes to Cinq Terre. The owner was very helpful providing lots of great tips on restaurants and gelato in the neighbourhood. The apartment had a grocery store in walking distance and the harbour was about a 20 minute walk along the pedestrian pathway that had lots of great shopping, cafes and restaurants. There was a farm truck parked on the street selling freshly grown produce which we purchased for our meals. The bed was amazingly comfortable after a day of hiking. Would highly recommend this apartment rental it was one of the best we stayed in while in Italy.

Great apartment good location , The neighborhood a little sketchy

The owner minutes at the door showed us around the beautiful apartment it had all the amenities that we could ask for And was comfortable for my wife and my two children . In Italy we stayed in five different Airbnb's and Home one from homes and by far this was the best apartment

Very nice flat in the centre of La Spezia. It´s a very strategic place to visit the Cinque Terre by boat or train and to enjoy the bars and restaurants in town. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great apartment, great city and wonderful surroundings

We had a wonderful 4 nights stay at the lemon house and enjoyed La Spezia and 5 terre. The landlord was very helpful and friendly and had very goods tips for our vacation planing in the La Spezia area.

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung im Zentrum von La Spezia

Italien life erleben, war unser Urlaubsmotto und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Als kleine 4-köpfige Familie haben wir das Meer, das Stadtleben und die Menschen genießen dürfen. Die Wohnung war hierfür der perfekte Ausgangs-und Ruhepunkt. Alles was nötig ist, war vorhanden. Sicherlich gibt es noch einiges zu verbessern beziehungsweise zu optimieren, aber das wichtigste für uns waren die sauberen Räume, ein Bett zum schlafen und ein "Internetanschluss". Da wir mit dem Auto angereist sind, haben wir die Region auch mit dem Auto erkundet, was sich als vorteilhaft herausstellte. Parken kann man für 1,50€ / Tag in einer der vielen Nebenstraßen, wenn man nicht zu spät kommt. Freitags ist immer ein herrlicher großer Markt direkt vorm Haus. Der nächstgelegene Sandstrand ist im Ort Lerici. Alles andere ist es Wert selbst herauszufinden :-). Vielen Dank für die Unterkunft und die Gastfreundlichkeit. Familie Riedel PS. Wer es gerne leise mag, sollte die Ohrstöpsel nicht vergessen ;-).

A clean, comfortable, and refreshing oasis!

This was the most amazing rental we had for almost 3 weeks in Italy! Starting with Giacomo's communication even before our arrival. He was prompt and clear and informative. He followed our train status prior to our arrival. His wife, Simona, and daughter met us at the train station with a sign and a smile. They walked us 5-10 minutes to our apartment showing us restaurants and stores along the way. They had a fresh fruit basket with pasta, cookies and limoncello, made from his father's own lemon trees, waiting for us for our wedding anniversary. The apartment was newly remodeled and SPOTLESS. They gave us time schedules for boats and local train and tips on restaurants. The apartment itself is beautiful and bright with bright colors and large airy windows. The beds are comfortable with clean white linens. Master bed is a king size. Sofa sleeper is double size. There are large cubpboards to store your travel things in the bedroom. Nicely furnished and decorated. The floors were fabulous. The bathroom was large and tastefully finished. Hand held shower in the very large tub. We had NO problems with a/c, hot water, or plumbing. Giacomo's apartment is in the building, so easy access if you need help, but we never needed anything. The kitchen was very well equipped and functional and CLEAN and bright. We easily made meals. They have a WASHER!!!! It was on a quiet street with trees. 15-20 minute walk to the marina for the boat ride along Cinque Terre which is a must, and the most amazing way to see the area. Incredible views and photo ops of the little towns from the ocean and you can stop at 4 out of 5 coming and going and get back on the boat at any time during their operational hours. We took the train home after dark. (The little commuter train is in tunnels most of the time.) I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this rental apartment. I wish we could have taken it with us all over Italy! Thank you Giacomo and Simona for making our stay at The Lemon House so comfortable, restful and welcoming.

Tolle Wohnung, super Lage - nette Vermieter

Die Wohnung liegt wunderbar. Nur wenige Gehminuten zum Bahnhof; Bäckerei, Geschäft und viele Restaurants gleich vor der Haustüre. Parkplätze gibt es in den umliegenden Straße und man fühlt sich absolut sicher. Die Wohnung ist sehr großzügig; wir waren zu zweit dort und hatten mehr als ausreichend Platz. Das Bad ist wunderschön und die Wohnung hat ein schnelles WLAN. Wir wurden mit leckerem Limoncello begrüßt und der Vermieter hat uns die Gegend anhand eines Planes erklärt. Ohne Auto (wurde kostenfrei in der weißen Zone geparkt) konnten wir tolle Ausflüge nach Pisa, Florenz und in die Cinque terre machen. Da die Fußgängerzone gleich vor der Haustüre beginnt - tolle Restaurants, Eisdielen und Geschäfte laden zum Verweilen ein. Sehr empfehlenswert und 5*.

Wunderbares Feriendomizil!

Wir haben in dieser schönen Ferienwohnung eine tolle Woche verbracht. Die Wohnung liegt nur wenige Gehminuten vom Bahnhof entfernt und eignet sich hervorragend für Ausflüge in die "cinque terre", nach Florenz oder Pisa. Unser Auto konnten wir auch direkt vor der Wohnung parken. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es gleich ums Eck und vor der Tür beginnt die Fußgängerzone mit tollen Restaurants und Eisdielen! Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr groß, nett eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Die Gegend ist sehr sicher. Wir können diese Wohnung mit besten Gewissen weiterempfehlen!! Vielen Dank an unseren Vermieter Herrn Giacomo, der im selben Haus wohnt und uns sehr nett mit selbstgemachten Limoncello (unglaublich gut!!!) empfangen hat.
