Villa Lucardo, recientemente restaurada, ofrece 4 amplias habitaciones dobles con vistas a las colinas de Chianti, cada una con baño privado. Sala de estar con chimenea, gran cocina con chimenea, un gran parque panorámico con huerto, plantas aromáticas, rosas, árboles altos, que hacen que el jardín sea especialmente adecuado para el descanso y la inspiración artística. En el exterior hay varias mesas con sillas para comer al aire libre o debajo de la pérgola de uvas y tumbonas para descansar al sol. Una granja rústica de 200 metros cuadrados, para cenas bajo las estrellas y fiestas de baile. En el exterior hay una amplia zona de aparcamiento.
Gracias al gran gusto de sus interiores, que ofrecen una cautivadora mezcla de gusto local y obras de arte contemporáneo, Villa Lucardo fue elegida por la revista Ville & Casali en la edición de febrero de 2011.
Villa Lucardo se beneficia de una vista panorámica encantadora y un microclima templado y ventilado que lo hace particularmente agradable en los meses de verano.

Excelente Casa en La Toscana

Maravilloso!!!! Hemos estado 8 días alojados en Villa Lucardo mi familia y yo, y nos vamos enamorados de la casa y de la atención de Margherita su adorable propietaria. Todo ha sido perfecto. Desde incluso antes de llegar, todo fueron facilidades, Margherita respondió a cada pregunta que le hicimos asi como nos dio muchísimas recomendaciones. Y en el día de la llegada el nos recibieron como unos auténticos anfitriones agasajándonos con bebidas, frutas y embutidos de la zona, gracias por hacernos sentir como en casa y tratarnos como unos amigos. La casa estaba impecable. Por otro lado las amplias habitaciones, cada una con su baño, así como el resto de las estancias son una gozada para disfrutar la casa. Queremos destacar que la casa está en una localización perfecta, en medio de todo lo que hay que visitar, y tiene unas vistas increíbles, se ven los mejores amaneceres y los mejores anocheceres. Definitivamente si volvemos a Toscana, iremos a Villa Lucardo, dejamos un pedacito de nuestro corazón allí, pero nos vamos felices y agradecidos por haber podido disfrutar unos días de nuestras vacaciones en vuestra casa. Incredible House in Heart of Tuscany

Everything about both this house and the host were exceptional. We spent a week at this lovely home and could not have asked for a better experience. The house Is located perfectly with plenty of restaurants and wineries close by. It is also located close to many of the area’s best tourist attractions. Everything about the house is first class. Our favorite part of each day was the ability to watch both incredible sunrises and sunsets from either the front or back yard. The view is just fantastic. The host, Margherita, is incredible to work with and goes out of her way to make sure every aspect of your stay is first class. We highly recommend this house.

We rented this lovely house for three weeks and used it as our base camp as we explored Tuscany (and beyond). We loved the backyard, the large kitchen, and the large bedrooms. It was a great place for our family!!

Villa Lucardo - a PERFECT Stay

Villa Lucardo was the best part of our family trip to Italy. With a family of 7, we had Amazing views, and VL was a central location to cities in Tuscany where we planned several day trips. What we did not know is how incredible our hosts would be. Even before we arrived, Margharita gave us great recommendations for local activities: restaurants, tastings, towns to visit. She and her husband greeted us when we arrived with a wonderful toast and snack and visited with us for a bit, which made the stay much more personable for us. As for the villa itself, we could not have imagined a better place. The nights were cool and the trees provided shade during the day, which allowed us to frequently eat outside as a family. The beds were very comfortable and the cool breeze was wonderful throughout the house day and night. The living areas were spacious for us in the evenings as well, and we found the place fully equipped, including coffee for the mornings! The views….wow…we cannot capture the beauty on all sides of the villa… we saw wonderful sunsets in the front, and the views in the back may be some of the best in all of Tuscany. We took daily walks locally and felt very much at home in the community. Local restaurants within 1 mile were wonderful, as well as others just a few miles down the road. The kitchen was well equipped for those days we prepared meals at home. VL is a slice of Heaven in Tuscany! Was a perfect stay!

Great house, spectacular view

This is a lovely, very stylishly modernized house, right in the top of a ridge that offers spectacular views. 4 bedrooms, each with an en suite bath, large and well equipped eat-in kitchen, comfortable living room. Lots of outdoor space for eating outside, reading, or just napping. A short distance to many towns worth visiting (but be warned…this part of Tuscany is very hilly, and getting anywhere involves driving in narrow, twisty roads up and down hills. It takes twice as long to get anywhere as you’d think!). The house is in Lucardo, a tiny village near Montespertoli, and except for 2 quite good restaurants within a 10 minute walk down the hill, there is not much going in there. We ate at home most evenings, since the prospect of driving home after a long dinner was not appealing. Margarita, our hostess, couldn’t have been nicer. She and her husband were waiting to welcome us (with wine and treats) when we arrived at the house, and she was there when we left (even though that was a long drive for them). She was easy to community during our stay, even though we had no issues. All in all, a great place for families or a group.

EXCEPTIONAL property, views and host!

This home is lovingly cared for with a gathering kitchen and 4 en-suite bedrooms plus a powder room. The views out back are like something from a movie. The views out front offer spectacular sunsets. Without a car, Margherita connected us with a driver and local tour guides. She also made multiple dinner reservations, stocked groceries and scheduled an in-home cook. Margherita’s quick responses, clear communication and eagerness to address our needs made for a special stay in the heart of Tuscany with friends. p.s. thank you for the lovely anniversary gift, Margherita!

Beyond words

Everything was so perfect and amazing! Its hard to know where to begin. From the moment we booked Villa Lucardo ,Margherita responded to our request for information ( which was significant given there was 7 adults) with thoughtful detailed information within a few hours of our request. Margherita personally met us at the Villa at 8 pm providing us with information about the Villa and Lucardo. She guided us to our first dinner in Tuscany, and it was a perfect introduction to the next 5days in Tuscany The Villa itself is magnificent! Sunrise with views of the hills, mist covering the valley and colorful air balloons is beyond words. Sunsets are equally spectacular! Every bedroom has large windows with views of the hills. The Villa was truly “home” and Margherita’s attention to detail and genuine interest in her guests comfort and enjoyment is unique. The Villa exceeded our wildest expectations! We are already planning our return!!

Don’t miss this fantastic experience

The house was promoten based in the astonishing views, and that is 100% correct. But the location, the hospitality of the owner, the atmosphere in the house were all splendid as well. We are regular visitors of beautiful Toscane and we have visited excellent locations before, but this is one experience that you don’t want to miss.

Our 11 day stay in lucardo

What an amazing 11 days we had!!! The views from this charming house were absolutely breathtaking! It’s at the top of the hill, “alto”, overlooking the grape vineyards. It was unreal!!!! The kitchen was where we all congregated. It was so special!! 3 bedrooms upstairs, one down, each with their own bath. The location was superb. Close to San gamingnano, Siena, Florence, and all the other great Tuscan towns. Margherita, the host, was wonderful and even met us upon our 11:30 pm arrival. I was fortunate enough to have solange stop in to tidy up every day. Montespertoli was a short 10 minute ride away. It’s such a cute town with wonderful restaurants, especially Ristorante Bistrot Lo Zero. The gelato in the quaint town was wonderful as well!! This was exactly the house I wished it would be. A fantastic 11 days. If you stay in the countryside you will surely need a car to go any place. Even with a car we got drivers to take us out a few days. Driving at night in the small towns wasn’t an easy task....Americans!!!! We got lost on many occasions. If you are looking for a special house, in a special location, with a drop dead gorgeous view, this is the house!!! It was actually difficult to leave!!!!! Caio!!!

Great one-week stay at Villa Lucardo

We enjoyed very much our trip to Tuscany and our stay at this lovely house. This place was perfect for our group (a family of 5 plus the grandmother). The place is very clean, comfortable, well maintained and tastefully decorated. The location is ideal to explore the region; and although it was very hot during our stay, the house always remained cool. Margherita is a great host. Communication with her was always easy and clear. Margherita and Giuseppe were at the villa to receive us and they made us feel very welcome! We would love to stay there again, if we go back to Tuscany.

Fantastic vacation home - clean, quiet and in a picture perfect Tuscan location

This home exceeded our already high expectations that we had after reading all the nice reviews and seeing the gorgeous pictures. The house is located on a quiet road up the hill which provides perfect views all around and allows for natural ventilation. The house is spacious, clean and exceptionally well furnished. The large kitchen is very well equipped and has more than enough dishes, pots, condiments etc. so one can actually fill up the dishwasher. Margherita welcomed us with open arms, a glass of wine and a variety of Tuscan specialties. She provided helpful tips for everything to do and how to get there. Thank you, Margherita! We especially enjoyed the beautiful garden that surrounds the house and the many options that are offered to have meals overlooking the vineyards or relaxing in a chair while sipping a coffee in the morning or a glass of Chianti at sunset. Sunsets are unbeatable and right behind the house over the valley. We have rented many houses via VRBO but this one has been by far the best - from location to luxury. The attention to detail shows the pride and love, Margherita has for her home. We highly recommend this beautiful house.

Beautiful Property

Our family of six, including me and my husband, our daughter, son-in-law, and two teenaged grandchildren spent ten wonderful days at Villa Lucardo. Margherita and Giuseppe met us on our first day at the villa and provided a thorough overview of the property, local wineries, villages, grocery shopping, transportation and even made a reservation at Cera' una volta, a local restaurant we thoroughly enjoyed. In addition, Margherita provided us with several other options for dining that included gluten free menus as my grandchildren are celiac. Fortunately, Italy is very progressive and you are never far from gluten free options for dining or grocery shopping. Margherita also arranged for Rossana, a local chef to come to Villa Lucardo to provide a cooking lesson and an extraordinary meal for us that included appetizers, entree and dessert. My grandson, son-in-law and I participated in the cooking lesson which was so informative and fun! Rossana was fabulous. The villa is central to so many of the main areas. We were able to drive to most major sites or take the train, a short drive from the villa. The kitchen was well stocked and the villa overall was immaculate. The beds, were comfortable, the furnishings very lovely and the views and grounds beautiful. Although there was an extreme heatwave in Italy during our visit (temperatures in the 90s most days) after a day of touring we would return to the villa, open the doors and windows and enjoy the breezes that cooled off the home every evening. We want to thank Margherita and Guissepe for sharing their beautiful home and making our Italy vacation memorable and very enjoyable. Deborah Hill San Francisco, California

Bucolic Tuscany

Our family had the great pleasure of staying at Lucardo Villa for ten days in May, 2017. We found this to be an exceptional property and the owners were very cordial and hospitable. The villa is located in Lucardo, a small village that is part of Montespertoli. It is located in the Tuscan hills equidistant from Florence, Pisa, Siena and Volterra/San Gimignano. The setting is spectacular, with sunrises out the back yard overlooking the valley below and sunsets out the front yard overlooking another valley below. The pictures in the listing are representative, but the real views are breathtakingly spectacular! The house is very well appointed and very comfortable. Four bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. All bathrooms are updated and contemporary. All of the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is very well provisioned and we were lacking for nothing when we cooked numerous dinners during our stay. Although the house is very beautiful and comfortable, we found ourselves outside most of the time enjoying the spectacular views from both the front and back yards. Even though Lucardo is a very small, rural location, it is very conveniently located. There are numerous excellent restaurants in the local area and several options for grocery shopping among the larger towns of Montespertoli, Tavarnelle and Certaldo. We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at Lucardo Villa. It was much more than a home away from home, it was at stay in paradise. We thank Margherita and Guiseppe for opening their house to us and allowing us to enjoy a true Tuscan experience. They are wonderful hosts and we highly recommend staying at Lucardo Villa if you are taking a Tuscan vacation.

Amazing...that's all I can say!!!

Myself and six family members spent a week at this charming villa, we could not have found a better place to stay. The location was wonderful and we were able to explore Florence and many of the close surrounding towns in the beautiful Tuscan area. The little village of Lucardo has two very nice restaurants that we enjoyed very much and a lovely church, it is within walking distance, but we drove most of the time. There are also supermarkets in some very close neighboring towns that we went to a couple of times. Margherita the owner greeted us with open arms and was so informative, she answered any and all questions that we had. I must tell you that the views from this villa were spectacular, so if you are looking for a true Tuscan experience this is the place for you. We were there in early September and although the weather was still quite warm it didn't matter that there wasn't any air conditioning because the breezes that blew through the villa were simply wonderful, especially at night. I just can't say enough about our stay at Villa Lucardo, I only wish that we could have stayed longer...thank you so much Margherita for all of your hospitality, it was truly magical!!! A stylish villa in the Tuscan hills with stunning panoramic vistas

Villa Lucardo is a very stylish 4 bedroom residence in a perfect location on the top of Tuscan hills. It was kept cool by prevailing breezes despite temperatures of 40C by day during our stay in mid July. The completely restored construction kept out the summer heat so there was no need for air conditioning. The Villa had beautiful decoration and quality furniture with a large, well equipped, practical kitchen ideal for families and large parties. It had plenty of outside dining space with shade if required. 3 of the 4 bedrooms had ensuite toilet, hand basin, bath/shower or walk-in shower. Only 1 of the bedrooms lacked an ensuite shower/bath but had a toilet and wash basin. All bathrooms were beautifully decorated, modern and worked perfectly. Even the evening 'flying bugs' were kept at bay by highly efficient exterior door and window protective screens. There was plenty of parking space and a large well maintained garden. Lucardo is a small hamlet with 2 excellent restaurants within walking distance (15 mins walk). Nearest shops for bread and and milk are 10-15 min drive. Nearest supermarkets are all about 20 mins drive away. We found several very good food markets, Chianti vineyards and restaurants within 15-30 mins drive of Villa Lucardo. Margherita, our hostess, greeted us on arrival and attended when we left the residence. We had little need to contact her during our stay but she made herself available by mobile if required. All in all we were very satisfied with the price, facilities, decor and service we received. We would certainly like to return again.

Fantastic Villa with amazing views!

Villa Lucardo is such a wonderful place to stay. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It is a great combination of old world charm with modern conveniences. Margherita was so easy to work with and provided us a lot of information upon check in about the villa and things to do in the area. The windows and doors had screens throughout so we could let the fresh air in without letting in the bugs – a luxury missing from other places we stayed in Italy. It has incredible views to the east and west so we had both the sunrise and sunset. The villa is close to the village of Lucardo, but it might be a treacherous walk after dark due to the narrow roads and steep inclines so a car is recommended. Lucardo has an excellent restaurant (Ristorante C’era Una Volta) – we ate their twice during our stay. Some helpful information if you rent this villa: Laundry soap, sugar, salt, and tea were provided along with a starter amount of coffee and toiletries. A supermarket is located about 20 minutes away. There is also a garden available to pick vegetables – we were lucky enough to get some tomatoes from it so depending on the dates of your holiday, you may get some fresh vegetables. All the bathrooms have a stand up shower (there are bathtubs as well) and the beds are very comfortable. The twin bedroom is on the main floor and the other 3 bedrooms are upstairs. Don’t worry about the lack of A/C as there is no need for it in this location – the breeze kept everything very comfortable. There are mosquitoes so bring some repellent for sitting outside. The villa has a Wi-Fi hotspot so you can move it around if needed to get better coverage throughout the house.

Magazine-worthy villa with equal view

Villa Lucardo is located on a ridge high enough to have a 15 kilometer view of rolling hills with vineyards, olive trees and cypresses on both the east and west sides of the house. The location also makes for natural air conditioning at night when a gentle breeze runs through the anti-papataci screens. Sunrise and sunset are incredibly beautiful. Within half an hour driving you can find a generous serving of Tuscany's cultural highlights. Even the little church in nearby Marcialla boasts an early Michelangelo fresco, for private viewing during a one hour morning run. The villa itself is a recently restored barn and very well-equipped. The interior design is magazine-worthy. Tasteful italian country style with lots of white and pink colors and lots of details. The hall is large and inviting. The kitchen is large with a long dining table. The living is cosy. The four bedrooms have very comfortable beds and each has its own bathroom with either bath or shower and toilet. The master bedroom is majestic. The garden is large, with several terraces and some shaded places. It is very quiet. Margherita and Guiseppe are perfect hosts. You are aware that you are really their guests, in their own second home. They will receive you with tremendous hospitality and you will feel sorry to actually say good bye when departure time has come. Maikel & Ellen

Tuscany at its best

Two weeks in heaven can only describe our holidays in this wonderful house. The house is located on the perfect spot, with astonishing views of the Tuscan hills, and within easy reach of major touristic places that you will want to explore. The way Margherita and her husband have decorated the house makes you feel at home. It is very charming and designed to create a family and cosy atmosphere, while at the same time being open and give you a sense of space. My wife and I having been to Italy (and Tuscany more specificaly) various time before, we can honnestly say that we could not have found a better place to stay. All these years we were arguing about finding the perfect place to settle for holidays instead of always roaming the country from hotel to hotel, from city/village to city/village. Well....we have finally found it and hope to return there again in the years to come. Adding to the holiday charm is of course the marvellous couple owning the house and welcoming you. They made us feel at home right from the start, instructing us of the best things to do, the best places to go. You can tell that they both love the place, and want you to fall in love with it too. Well, it didn't fail. Great place, great people. If ever someone wishes to discover Tuscany, trust me, this is "the" location, and "the" house, you'll want to go to. Arnaud & Brenda

High standard and fantastic views

We were a group of seven, spending a week in this villa. The villa had a very high standard, with four double bedrooms with ensuites, a large well equipped kitchen and a nice living room. And the views! On top of the hill with fantastic outdoor areas, with morning sun on one side and evening sun on the other side. Easy walking distance - 7 min - to Lucardo village - with two good restaurants. Perfect location for trips to Montespertoli, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Florence, Pisa, Chianti, (but you need a car) etc,etc. We got a very hospitable welcome from the owners when we arrived. They showed us around the house, and even assisted in booking restarants for us. We felt very welcome indeed. I absolutely recommend this property.

Beautiful Villa and wonderful hospitality

The Villa was absolutely gorgeous, finished to a very high standard. The views were fantastic looking out over the Tuscan countryside. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us that were staying and it had everything you need when your away from home. Margherita was a wonderful host she waited hours for us at the place due to complications with our rental car. She then organised a place for us to eat at as we arrived at about 9pm. She was so warm and inviting we really felt at home in Tuscany. Thanks heaps for a memorable stay we will be back someday. We spent 6 weeks travelling through Europe and this was the best accommodation that we stayed at.
