Nuestra encantadora casa de campo es un pequeño oasis ubicado en el centro de Crieff a 50 millas de Edimburgo y Glasgow y St Andrews, situado en el borde de las tierras altas con fácil acceso al norte. Es una propiedad de 3 dormitorios para 6 personas cómodamente. La cabaña es espaciosa, con una sala de estar de buen tamaño y cocina de campo con encimeras de granito y cocina Rangemaster. La cabaña está amueblada con gusto con todas las comodidades del hogar y, por supuesto, tiene una buena conexión WiFi. . Retiro romántico perfecto, o la familia y amigos se reúnen, hay un gran jardín aislado para relajarse cuando el sol está brillando! Hay un estacionamiento protegido en el lugar y los servicios locales están a tiro de piedra.

La casa se encuentra a poca distancia del supermercado, bares y restaurantes locales. La destilería de Glen Turret Whiskey es una gran atracción local donde puedes hacer un recorrido y disfrutar de una copita o dos. Para los entusiastas de los golfistas, el club de golf Crieff y el curso están abiertos a los no socios a tarifas muy razonables. Estamos a 12 millas del hotel Gleneagles en Auchterarder.

Peaceful Place

This flat was absolutely the perfect setting to relax and enjoy Chrieff. Cheryl was the perfect host giving us a personal welcome. The accomodations and gardens were beyond what we expected.

Wonderful stay in the heart of Scotland

Lovely cottage with a beautiful garden, spotless and well-equipped. We received a warm welcome with a basket with bread, butter, milk, fruit and delicious home-made jam! Parking the car can be a bit of a challenge for the driver who is used to a steeringwheel on the other side ;-) Perfectly situated to explore both Edinburgh and Glasgow as well as the Highlands. This was our first visit and we would really like to come back sometime.

Really pretty, Really nice

Loved being at Honeybrooke! The garden was a delight, really convenient location. All the bedrooms were upstairs but couches in living area can be used, too. Cheryl is a delight to work with: she was very accommodating and answered all our texts promptly. Lots to see and in walking distance. Will be glad to ‘haste thee back.’

Great short break in Crieff

We booked this cottage for six girlfriends to celebrate a couple of milestone birthdays. It was absolutely ideal - handy for everything in Crieff but tucked away giving us our own private getaway. The cottage is a good size for six people with a cosy lounge, large kitchen and three bedrooms. There is everything you'd need for a short break. Would love to visit in better weather to take advantage of the gorgeous garden as well. Thank you for everything Cheryl, we had a wonderful time.

Crieff Cottage Gem

Our stay at Honeybrook Cottage was wonderful. The garden at the back of the cottage was an amazing oasis. The property is well appointed and was very good base for our five day stay and visits to the surrounding areas. We couldn’t ask for any better hostess than Cheryl. She had some necessities ready for us on arrival and some additional items such as artisan bread and homemade jam. Most importantly she showed me the “trick” in starting the fireplace…it started every time on my first try…Thanks again Cheryl!

Beautiful

What an amazing place. The pictures don’t do it justice! Everything from when we arrived until our departure was perfect. The cottage is grand, beautiful and charming all at the same time, fully equipped down to the last detail, and SPOTLESS. The garden to envy, a wonderful place to smell the flowers and relax. We couldn’t have been more impressed. Cheryl was just lovely, accommodating, kind and helpful. She literally thought of everything we needed, including advice on local spots, and how to’s. Dream stay to be sure.

Top Shelf!

As former VRBO owners ourselves and VRBO renters, we have a bit of experience with a good variety of homes and we can honestly say without reserve that this home and our experience here was top shelf in all regards. Cheryl, the lovely owner, maintained constant communication with us, met us at the home to go over all of the information we would need and provided a beautiful basket of goodies, as well as, a container of softened butter and her own homemade preserves!!! An absolutely wonderful unexpected treat...really took our experience over the top. The home was beyond gorgeous...think House Beautiful, Cottage and Fine Gardening Magazine Covers...Truly it would be difficult to say which was more enchanting...the home...or the back fairy garden full of hidden treasures for my grandchildren to discover and have a tea party! The town of Crieff itself is the quintessential old town Scottish experience, perfect combination of lovely shops , stone buildings, friendly people and breathtaking mountain views in all directions. Cannot recommend this area and more specifically this home and this very kind and thoughtful homeowner enough!!! A definite must stay!

Rembering a good friend

The cottage was perfect for our short and brief stay , we 5 came from all corners of the UK to commemorate a great friend who we lost during Covid , People can be sceptical over signs but as a group we encountered two unexplained signs that stirred our minds .We combined our trip with experiencing the fabulous Glenturret Distillery and Michelin star restaurant the Lalique fantastic . Downside was trying to recover on the Sunday .

Best Stay in Scotland!

Oh, what a wonderful place to stay! It was absolutely perfect. We were so disappointed to have only one night here--we had car trouble and had to stay elsewhere for our first booked night. Cheryl met us and gave us the tour of the cottage; she was so friendly and accommodating. The beds, bathrooms, the amazing kitchen, the comfortable living room and the beautiful gardens, one could not ask for more! Right downtown but quiet setting, easy walk to many restaurants. Don't miss Afternoon Tea at Crieff Hydro, and be sure to visit the village of Killin, nearby.

A lovely place to stay

We stayed there for two nights whilst attending my son's wedding. The cottage is beautifully furnished and well maintained, secluded, yet minutes from a wide range of shops. The house was immaculately clean. The garden is delighful. Cheryl is a warm and friendly host.

Comfortable stay in high quality accommodation

This is a very good quality house. Very well equipped kitchen, comfortable and spacious bedrooms and lovely garden. It was very clean and after a long journey it was good to have a welcome pack of food. The owner Cheryl was very welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. The cottage is right in the centre of Crieff with shops nearby. You can also do lovely walks from the doorstep- hill, woods and river. We would definitely book this again.

Great space near everything!

We came in for the highland gathering and we were within walking distance. Inside was meticulous and clean inside with information regarding anything in the house and in the area. Our family of 5 was able to spread out and relax.

Great place

We found the house easily and received a warm and friendly welcome. We arrived on a Sunday so we appreciated that the owner had put some bread & snacks on the table, as well as milk, butter & jam in the fridge. The owner also remained very much available for any questions/assistance that we needed throughout the week. We made most of our shopping at the Coop store which is within very short walking distance and open early to late, so the location is very handy. It's also very close to where the Highland Gathering takes place so we could also walk there. The house is well furnished & decorated, it is comfortable and feels lively. The garden is lovely. The location is quiet. Crieff is an ideal location for visiting the center of Scotland, there are a lot of nature and historical places within short to reasonable driving distance. Don't miss the nearby Drummond gardens and Famous Grouse distillery! A little further, Dunblane and Stirling are worth visiting. We enjoyed Scone and Blair castles very much as well, but received a bit mitigated/poor welcome at Glamis castle (due to us having young children). Our top visit was St Andrews! Definitely worth the drive (just a little more than 1 hr). Edinburgh was also a very great visit. For those fond of nature, Crieff is very close to the Trossachs park (one of the reasons why we'd picked it), but also to the Earn, Tay and Tummond Lochs, which offer very nice views and walks as well. The house is ideal for a family with children. I would stay again or recommend it, especially to families with 1-3 children.

After leaving Crieff at 18 to explore the world, we decided to come back here and raise our children ! We now live around the corner from Honeybrook in the former guest house that we stayed in the night before we got married ! Now our children are doing the same !

The cottage has belonged to my family for over 40 years and everyone who has stayed and visited have just loved it, it has a lovely comfortable feeling about it, making you feel immediately at home !
