¡Bienvenidos al paraíso de los amantes del aire libre y del pescador! El retiro de montaña aislado se encuentra frente a las aguas de metal dorado del río South Platte. Pesca de clase mundial, kayak y tubos está a sólo 100 metros de distancia. La casa rústica actualizada de la cabaña de troncos está cerca de áreas para acampar, lagos, senderos para caminatas y ciclismo. Es el ambiente perfecto para algún tiempo lejos de la ciudad para relajarse y disfrutar de la naturaleza y la vida silvestre. Lo suficientemente lejos, pero todavía cerca de la ciudad. Ven a escapar! Lo sentimos, no se permiten ATV ni motos, ya que es una zona tranquila y no hay espacio para un remolque. Sin mascotas.

El horario de check-in es a las 4 pm, pero puede ser flexible si se solicita un check-in más temprano.

Feels like home!

This cabin is a charm! We appreciated the fully furnished kitchen and enjoyed cooking dinner on the grill each night. We enjoyed hiking Devils Head and Cheeseman Canyon in the morning and relaxing on the deck in the afternoons. Thank you for sharing your cabin! We made memories that will last a lifetime!

Fishing Vacation

Very quiet and relaxing. Get place for fly fishing. Ni air-conditioning so alittle hot for sleeping at night even with fans and windows open. We didn't board a fire outdoors because of fire danger. It would be nice to have a gas fire pit on the porch to sit outside in the evening cool air since its so hot inside the cabin during the summer. Overall we enjoy our vacation and the accommodations was very nice.

Cameras inside the cabin!!!!!

Communication with the owner seemed great, they allowed early check in and seemed to be very accommodating. However, we found cameras inside the living area which made us very uneasy. My family changed in different areas of the house, which left us feeling very on edge. There’s no cell service up there and even if you connect to WiFi you still can’t get a call to go through which was also unsettling considering the situation

Extremely unfortunate situation! We have 1 camera at the property that faces the front entry and driveway! It’s actually there mostly to capture wildlife but this mountain home being in such a remote area it’s good to know if somebody shows up that’s not supposed to be at the property, when a guest isn’t there! You could’ve easily asked me about the camera or unplugged it if you had any concern. This property has been rented for seven years and never had an issue with anybody or with the camera capturing the driveway up to the home…. having said that because of your concern, we will remove the one and only camera from this property so there is never any kind of question! Regarding cell service that is accurate that there’s no cell service but the Wi-Fi works great and I’ve never had anybody have issues making calls or running Zoom meetings, etc as long as their phone has Wi-Fi calling enabled in their settings!

Little piece of heaven

If you are looking to spend some time in the great outdoors Marks place is the place to be! Cabin is comfortable,welcoming, and decorated as a cabin should be. Location is extremely quiet wildlife abounds and some of the best fishing one can ask for. What striked me the most was the friendleness of all the people that we met.

Amazing property!!!

My 14 year old daughter and I stayed here July 19-22. The property was amazing with great views and all the amenities you could need! Waking up to have coffee at sunrise was the best!! Watching the mule deer work the river in the evening was always a great way to end the day. I’d recommend this property to anyone! Just know going in that this property doesn’t have AC. We followed the directions of the owner and it helped but still got warm during the day but cooled down easily at night!

Beautiful, Off The Grid

A beautiful property in a remote area by the South Platte River. The cabin is rustic but clean and comfortable with antiques and some pictures of the Baker family. It’s easier to get to if you have a high profile vehicle because the route from Denver involves a short stretch of winding but well-graded mountain dirt road. Also, the dirt road up to the cabin will require a high profile vehicle after a big rain. That said, if you want peaceful seclusion near a mountain stream, this is the place!

Just the trip we needed!

This was our 2nd time visiting/staying in Deckers. This time we brought back our kids. I was a little nervous that since it is secluded and no outside distractions (tv,internet) the kids would be stir crazy. Turned out it was actually the perfect break for them. They played with the toys, listened to the record player and got along perfectly. We will be back many more times in the future!

Quiet and Comfortable

The cabin is exactly as advertised: quiet, comfortable, no frills. The kitchen was well stocked, and we had everything we needed to be comfortable. Our kids enjoyed sleeping in the loft. There were lots of good fishing spots along the river close by and tons of National Park to enjoy. We caught trout and cooked them on the firepit. We took advantage of the hosts' tubes and went on an hour float down the river. In all, we spent a nice 4 days enjoying nature and family without the interuption of internet and cell phones.

What a beautiful view looking out the west windows of this quaint, quiet, cabin a short distance from the South Platte River! We stayed 3 nights, and enjoyed every minute of being secluded from cell phone and television. We hiked behind the cabin, along the river, tried our hand at fishing, and determined that we needed more practice. Drove to Decker and enjoyed some good food, when we did not cook out on the grill.
