This house is exactly as it is described! This was our 6th year staying on Boca Grande for Spring Break, and this house offered so much more than any of our other rentals on the island!

Wonderful vacation house near cute Boca Grande

We had a wonderful stay at this house! We rented a golf cart and it was a fun, short ride into town for food and shopping. We walked to the public beach, less than half a block away, for morning walks and nightly sunsets. We all loved the pool, especially my daughter, and the house itself was well stocked, comfortable, and perfect for our needs. Would highly recommend this property for your next vacation!

Tarpon Fishing

Great place to stay if you are here for Tarpon fishing. Only a few min drive to the marina. We had some issues with the Internet connection, but the Host was very helpful to get its fixed.

Perfect home/pool/location

Can’t beat this location, home and pool on Boca Grande. Just perfect! Owner very responsive to messages. Home well supplied too. Loft for parents and two other bedrooms for kids worked great. Updated bathrooms are very nice. Would love to stay here again!

A Gem on Boca Grande

We had an absolute fantastic week in Boca Grande! The property has everything you need to just lay back and enjoy the island life. The pool was enormous and the kids enjoyed it from sun up to sun down along with night swims. The beach is 30 yards away and the views are breathtaking. We highly recommend renting a golf cart to get around the island with a family of 5. If your looking for a place to enjoy the feel of “old Florida” this is the place!!!

Nice home, Dishonest owner!

We had an good stay overall but did experience some issues. First the pros: you can walk to the beach in minutes! The pool is really large and there's plenty of parking. The cons: The upstairs sleeping area is a loft and has no walls or accessible bathroom. It's above the kitchen/living room so we were very uncomfortable with the sleeping arrangements and having to walk down the staircase to find a bathroom. In addition, the power went out for hours in the early morning due to a severe storm so you can imagine how hard it was to find our way around in the dark of this multi-level home. The owner agreed to issue a refund to us for the issues that arose and we waited with his continued false promises from June 18th - August 7th (when I wrote this review), and still have not received compensation. We are very disappointed with the customer service and dishonesty of the owner John and would never stay here again as a result. We even had to involve VRBO for a resolution which is a first for us. Travelers beware!

Short walk to everything you need.

We recently had an amazing stay at this house. Our family of four loved the close proximity to the beach and the short walk to town. The pool was well-maintained, and the house was stocked with any beach supplies you would need. Our three-year-old son loved being able to see the lighthouse from the deck. It was great having the option to use the pool while our young kids napped-this really helped us maximize our time in the Florida sun. The bathrooms have been recently renovated and all of the bedrooms were cozy, clean, and comfortable. We can’t wait to go back!

Pool excellent. Proximity to the beach, excellent. Location, good. House need new furniture, new bed linen and covers. Need upgrading of kitchen utensils. Appliances were in good condition. In our opinion, the loft should be enclosed and the ground floor bathroom copied in the loft. This will make this property a 3-bedrooms, 3-baths, which will enhance its use.

You have to stay at this property!!! Amazing house in the perfect location! The large heated pool provides the ultimate place to chill or play like crazy. Not to mention the owner has left you with everything need to enjoy the island and the property. Book a stay and enjoy it for yourself!

Footsteps away from the beach

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house in May. The pool was fantastic for the kids and well maintained. Our days were spent playing tennis at the public courts a few houses down, swimming in the pool, walking across the street to the non-crowded beach to look for shells and swim, and driving around in the golf cart to navigate the island. We chartered a boat in the marina for a very reasonable price and got to see the sea life up close of bat rays, manatees and dolphins. John was very responsive to any questions we had and a great resource for us during our stay. For the price-point and accommodations plus proximity to the beach I am rating this a 5 star.

Perfect Location

John was super helpful and this property was in a great spot for access to town and the beach. A short walk across to the beach, but not a long hike. We also really enjoyed the pool and grilling out.

Boca Beach Stay

We had an awesome time. The house, property, and location were exactly what we were hoping for on our quiet family get-together. The pool was a great addition. The beach access was right across the street and the historic light house was a great landmark for the long walks on the beach. The grill, kitchen, and indoor and outdoor tables were perfect for our group of 7-8. Will be looking forward to coming back!

Great beach house

We are three woman that have been to Boca Grande at least once a year for the past five years. This beach house was perfect. Three separate bedrooms and a comfy living room and outdoor shower. The house was a perfect layout with two bedrooms and a loft. The only thing we noticed is that the loft was rather warm. It would’ve been perfect had there been a fan there. If we stay again we will bring our own box fan. We found the home provided all the amenities needed for a beach week. The pool was a nice treat after long hours at the beach. However we didn’t find the “fancy” lights until the last day. Next year this will be the first home we check for availability for our Boca Grande stay. The home owner was very prompt in answering our inquiries.
