¡Bienvenido a Watling House!

Watling House es una propiedad del siglo XIX diseñada para la vida familiar moderna. Estamos ubicados en el tranquilo pueblo de Bridge, a unos 5 km de la histórica ciudad de Canterbury. Nuestro pueblo es una base ideal para paseos por el campo en Kent Downs con muchas comodidades locales (¡y pubs!) o para visitar Canterbury por su historia y su vibrante vida nocturna.

Watling House es perfecto para familias o grupos de amigos con estacionamiento gratuito en la propiedad.

Watling House se encuentra en tres plantas y es perfecto para un viaje relajante al campo. Ya sea que se entretenga en las áreas abiertas de estar / comedor o se relaje junto al fuego, ¡tendrá todo lo que necesita para una excelente estadía!

Tenemos cuatro acogedoras habitaciones dobles, dos con camas king size. Puede elegir entre dos grandes espacios de vida o el comedor separado. ¡Disfruta del jardín y el patio desde la cocina / sala de estar, abriendo las grandes puertas para dejar entrar el exterior!

¿Por qué visitar Watling House?...

- Paseos fantásticos en una zona de excepcional belleza natural.
- Muchas comodidades locales a la vuelta de la esquina: tres pubs del pueblo, tiendas locales, carnicerías y un servicio frecuente de autobuses a Canterbury (aproximadamente 10 minutos).
- Cerca de la histórica catedral de la ciudad de Canterbury. Visite la catedral, los cuentos de Canterbury y las murallas históricas de la ciudad.
- Puede acercarse a Londres en el primer servicio de alta velocidad del Reino Unido desde Canterbury West (aproximadamente 55 minutos) o un viaje de un día a Francia (aproximadamente 20 minutos desde el Puerto de Dover y el Canal Crossing).

Bridge nicer than I thought it would be!!!

This place is extremely convenient to travel to Canterbury. The garden is lovely and the beds are comfortable. The home was decorated in a very nice manner. If you are not use to traffic the road is a little loud!

Our little village of Bridge does tend to get a little busier during the summer holidays with vistors and the locals from the surrounding villages using the amenities in the weekdays! Ladies weekend

Beautiful houses with everything included. Lovely comfy beds. Lovely and warm. Lovely touches including body wash, shampoo, body lotion and plenty of toilet roll!! A welcome cake, crisps, chocolate and bottle of prosecco. Good location, the house is walking distance to a couple of pubs and restaurants. Short drive to Canterbury and Whitstable.

Amazing stay

We were a group of friends that spent the weekend together. The property had everything we could possibly want and we felt like we were in a hotel with the amazing toiletries and dressing gowns and slippers. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed and the whole place was just so beautiful. We loved the zen corner in the garden. It was just perfect. The host was amazing and so helpful with everything. Thank you so much. Highly recommend.

Long relaxing weekend not far from London

We booked this property not actually knowing we'd be able to actually use it, as the rules around lockdown hadn't yet lifted. Abi was super flexible on this in the event that we weren't able to travel. This is a lovely modern property, beautifully decorated and very comfortable, in the quaint little village of Bridge just off the A2, easily accessible from London. We were two families with 3 kids between us. Ample space for the kids and adults to spread out. If we weren't out exploring the local area, we were in the garden in the sunshine. Abi permitted us to bring our paddling pool, good thing as well, we were blessed with glorious sunshine and heat for the 4 days we were there. We ate outside every evening but enjoyed cooking in the kitchen which by the way has everything you could possibly need. We also bbq'd a couple of times. The bedrooms and beds were super comfy, and Abi provided extra fans due to the excessive heat. Abi was available for all my questions leading up to our stay, Abi even left lollies in the freezer for the kids and a bottle of wine and biscuits for the adults which we thought was a lovely and thoughtful gesture for our stay. We would recommend Watling House for a family stay or even just with friends. With 4 decent sized bedrooms, two bathrooms, two lounge areas both with TV's, big kitchen and outdoor space, this carefully restored property is a must is any season.

Wow. Excellent House and Owner

Communication with Abi was first class from when we first booked to when we left, brilliant The house is stunning, its clean, modern and everythingstate of the art and Abi left little thoughtful finishing touches that just made the stay extra special. Would recommend this house as first choice to anyone wanting to stay in the area as its close to both Canterbury and Dover

Beautiful House

Stayed for 2 nights here with family, including 20 mth old. House is gorgeous with everything you could possibly want. Lots of lovely touches and quality equipment. Garden was safe for the little one and park nearby. Only slight issue was slightly noisy on main road although back rooms were fine. Would highly recommend! Thanks Abi!

The best house in Bridge

We hired this house whilst we got married in the near by wedding venue the night yard. This property was truly perfect for a large group or bridesmaids whilst lovely for just me and my now wife. The property has a modern and clean feel with some superb gadgets and fittings . We can't thank you enough Abi a wonderful host and an amazing property thank you so much.

Clean, peaceful and beautifully presented

I stayed at this lovely cottage to celebrate my friends birthday. All rooms and appliances were clean and neatly prepared for us. The beds were very comfortable, and the spa robes and slippers provided were a lovely touch! There was an electric cut (we think triggered by the toaster) and Abi's dad kindly popped round very quickly to get us back online. Overall the cottage had everything you need for a comfortable stay so would recommend and hopefully come back. I've given 4* as it would be great to have a dedicated parking space for the cottage.

Beautiful House...

Fantastic property with all mod cons,extremely clean and everything needed was available......needed a property near to my Daughters wedding venue and this was ideal.....situated in a great little village of Bridge .....welcome scones,butter,milk etc was a particularly nice touch.....in summing up we would love to come back and stay again it's perfect.
