Ubicado en el extremo norte de Isle of Palms, en Wild Dunes, Ocean Club ofrece una puerta dentro de las puertas. La comunidad Ocean Club es un paseo fácil a la casa club, restaurante, campo de golf y campo de prácticas. Wonderful Stay

We spent 3 nights over Thanksgiving and had a great expierience. One night we had some local friends over and had plenty of room with the large porch and living/dining areas. The bedrooms were all comfy and we had plenty of room in the bathrooms. The unit was very clean and there wasn't anyting we needed to contact management about, so that made the stay even easier. The view down the shore was beautiful and unobstructed. Thank you, we'll be back!

Beautiful view

Beautiful view - and the big deck was perfect for cocktails and reading. The place is very dated and in need of attention - but everything in the kitchen and bathrooms worked fine and the living room was very comfortable. Definitely an enjoyable and relaxing vacation.

location, location, location

-Unit was dirty- mold growing in the bathrooms, urine left in one of the toilets upon arrival. -the blinds are very finicky -maintenance showed up at 8:30am one morning without notice from the office or ID, wanting to check the unit for a leak. It turned out to be legit but creepy. -poor cell service in the unit -The grounds are poorly labeled. The buildings should have better identification. It took us 2 days to find the pool even with a map. -Poor beach access. Signs say to stay off the dunes but you have to go through the dunes to get to the beach. -We did not cook in the unit but the kitchen seemed well equipped- so many wonderful restaurants nearby! -Overall I would recommend the unit- the view can't be beat, the covered deck was huge (our favorite spot), beds were very comfortable.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been renting from Island Realty for years and have never been disappointed. The beach area rules are clearly laid out. Check in and check out are a breeze and the staff stays in touch. This is a quiet, family oriented area with lots of beach and a fabulous pool. The property itself is spacious and grand with all the amenities. Restaurants are within easy driving and the kitchen is well equipped to handle large dinners. Views are insanely beautiful with intense sunrises and moonrises beckoning you onto the deck. All appliances and tvs are updated and there are lots of charging stations.

Ocean Club was quiet, peaceful, uncrowded. Several problems with the condo, would not return to that one, but will stay at a another one. The condo needs a DEEP cleaning. Refrigerator was not clean, floors, carpeting and tile. needed cleaning. Bathroom tile not clean. Several maintenance issues, when we called about one problem, maintenance responded quickly and fixed it. Would not recommend this condo, unless some work is done on it.

Review of our Christmas Vacation

Reviewer Comments: Because of work being done on Summerhouse this year, we were provided a unit in Ocean Club 1302. The unit was much too big for the 2 of us, but had a FANTASTIC view of the ocean.We were not told of work being done on Ocean Club or the condo south of us. We were greeted by men on scaffolding walking in front of our windows. At times, there were very loud noises of drilling/hammering, etc. from the workmen. We left to go grocery shopping and returned to no water. NO one contacted us or seemed concerned when we called. We understand some emergencies happen, but the lack of concern bothered us. The dining room light would not turn off and glowed from low to high. Again, no one seemed concerned. We were afraid of a fire hazard. Someone came to help me with getting on line with my computer,and when he was there,he tried to fix the switch. He got a shock from the switch which scared all of us!We have used Island Realty for 20 years and have been very pleased with the units and service we received. We were very aware this time that the residents of Ocean Club were very unfriendly and snobbish. Even people walking/running, etc. on Isle of Palms seems very snobbish. We definitely felt unwelcome. We paid alot of money for this vacation and have never felt this way before. We hope next year we can return to Summerhouse. We have stayed in several other condos on IOP, but we felt this Summerhouse was the best for us.

Dishwasher has weird racks that allow a lot of dishes to move while loading. Dryer takes forever to dry a load of towels. This place and Dozin by the Sea at Holden Beach are definitely on my return visits for next year.

We will be back!

A little disappointed at the cleanliness of our unit as we walked in. Such a beautiful place should have a better cleaning crew. The condo, location and amenities were awesome!! The view and beach, priceless. Good time had by all. We all didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to come back.

WE HAD A COUPLE MINOR DISAPPOINTMENTS SUCH AS THE MASTER TUB JETS WERE NOT OPERATABLE, THE SLIDING PATIO DOORS WERE STIFF AND HARD TO OPEN & CLOSE: I CALLED MAINTENCE BUT THEY NEVER DID COME TO DO THAT, BUT I WASNT GOING TO WASTE MY VACATION SEEKING HOW THE HELP SO LET IT GO, LAST RENTERS TRASH WAS NEVER REMOVED, DISH WASHER FROM PREVIOUS RENTER WAS NEVER CLEANED & PUT AWAY PRIOR TO OUR ARRIVAL & THERE WAS A CRACKED GLASS AS WELL. OTHER THAN THESE MINOR BLIPS WE ENJOYED THE VIEW AND THE RENTAL IN GENERAL. THE VIEW WAS BREATHTAKING AND THE WALK TO THE BEACH WAS A VERY EASY ONE. IT WAS A GREAT & BEAUTIFUL LOCATION IN GENERAL WE LOVE WILD DUNES. WE WOULD & HOPE COME BACK AGAIN.
