La construcción de esta casa se completó en junio de 2016 y es el piso inferior de un dúplex de dos pisos. Ubicado cerca de la playa, a poca distancia del centro de Carlsbad, disfrutará de un vecindario tranquilo, con algo para todos. El centro de Carlsbad alberga excelentes restaurantes, cafeterías, vida nocturna y transporte público. ¡Súbase al tren y a la cercana estación de trenes de Carlsbad y estará en el centro de San Diego antes de darse cuenta! Actividades familiares, como LEGOLAND, el parque de animales salvajes y parques están cerca. Hemos construido un refugio de playa tranquilo, bien amueblado y cómodo para usted. La casa es ideal para parejas, aventureros en solitario, viajeros de negocios, familias (con niños) y amigos peludos (mascotas).

Wonderful stay!

My family and I stay here for three months and had an absolute blast! The townhome is in the perfect location, with walking distance to parks, restaurants, and the beach. The townhome had everything we needed to feel very comfortable - we hope to be back at some point again!

Very Nice Location and Lovely Property

We stayed here for the month of July 2021 and it was very well-suited. Clean and comfortable. Easy walking to parks and into Downtown Carlsbad. It was a little farther away from the beach that we'd hoped but was located in a nice neighborhood. You could make the walk or bike ride to the beach pretty quick as long as you weren't taking a lot of stuff with you. :) Easy to hop onto freeway when headed to other places and lots of shopping/grocery stores etc near-by. Very nice back patio that was fenced is so it was good for our puppies. It is very close to the 5 so sometimes the noise was a little distracting when I was working from the bedroom but really not that bad at all. Upstairs "neighbors" are very nice and relatively quiet. It was fantastic to have a driveway to park in so we didn't have to worry about street parking at night. Overall a very nice choice if you are staying in Carlsbad!

Excellent return visit

We were happy to return to a VRBO we rented many years ago because we like the area. It met our needs, and was convenient to walk our dog in Chase Field, which is across the street. Great anenities, kitchen, and Direct TV. Close enough to the Village restaurants, etc. and beach, as well as transportation all over the area.

Amazing stay in Carlsbad

The property manager and her husband were very communicative and quick to respond to any concerns. Cozy apartment across from a public park, walking distance from shops, restaurants, even a farmers market on Wednesdays! Make sure to check out the surrounding beaches, lots of great surfing spots :)

Everything you need is provided. The location is great. The house is clean and simply decorated which is perfect, so my little ones don’t get into everything. We’ve stayed multiple times and it’s just right for us!!

Beautiful and convenient all in one!

My family of 5 stayed here for almost 2 months and we couldn't have picked a more beautiful and conveniently located place for us to call home during that time. We were surrounded by parks, playgrounds, the best restaurants, and the beach! Elizabeth was a perfect host and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this place! It really is a perfect little gem.

The property is very clean and bright and comfortable.

This is a very nice property. It is very clean and the owners are very responsive to any issues which may arise. There are new tenants upstairs who do not have children. They are very friendly! This home is across the street from a baseball and soccer park. It makes such a nice neighborhood feel. The ocean is only blocks away but you must walk around the coaster tracks making it only a mile. You do not hear the coaster or the freeway at all.

We enjoyed our stay tremendously! Entry was simple, the property was very clean and most everything we needed was provided. It was even a little more spacious than expected. Loved the minimalistic furnishings and simple decor, it was perfect! Located close to everything we enjoy in Carlsbad.

Very nice newly built unit

A very nice clean and bright beach feel rental. The space has everything needed for a short or longer stay. The location is close to restaurants and shops in Carlsbad and the interstate and beach are very close by. The owner was very responsive and accommodating.

Great Space, Poorly Furnished, Noisy Upstairs Neighbors

This is a great space,too bad it was.poorly and sparsely furnished with noisy upstairs neighbors.. Examine the photos closely because that is exactly what is in this space. We arrived in mid January, 2018 to find a bin of dirty laundry inside the door and no hangers in the closet.. After a few texts with the owner (who no longer lives next door) the laundry was picked up that night and we had hangers the next day. Requests for more toilet paper were denied. We had to ask for a vacuum cleaner. The owner dropped off her personal vacuum and we never heard from her again. I washed the stained mattress cover from the master bedroom but was grossed out to see the very stained mattress underneath. Owner said it was their personal used matress, as if that made a difference! No bedside table or bedside lamps in master. No luggage rack in either bedroom. No chest of drawers in 2nd bedroom. No towel bar in 2nd bath. It may sleep 5 but LR only seats 2 on a super low old couch and the 4 dining chairs are all rickety. Only one side table in LR. Upstairs apt is home to 3 preschoolers and there is no sound insulation. So be prepared for lots of noise through the ceiling throughout the day. Lots of noise. Did I say there was lots of noise from upstairs? We were there for a month and enjoyed the Carlsbad location with our little dog. The kitchen was fully supplied with everything, including a decent set of pans and an icemaker. Wonderful to have a washer and dryer. TV with cable and WiFi was nice.

Great location! Close to everything.

Great place to stay. Park right across the street. Beach right up the street and LEGOLAND right around the corner! Owners are very friendly. Kids upstairs make a little noise (running around), nothing unbearable. Just kids being kids. Great place for a family or couple. We definitely want to come back and stay a bit longer.

Perfect place to escape reality!

Close proximity to the beach, shopping, and food. A short car ride from Oceanside and San Diego. Plenty to do in the area. Nice to come back to a home-like environment after a day of adventure.

Great rental property!

We had a great time at this property. It was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we wanted (WiFi, in-unit laundry, parking space). It's only 0.5 mile to Carlsbad blvd. with all the shops and restaurants and only 1 mile from the beach! Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location, wonderful owner, spacious, beautiful modern apartment

We stayed a month at this location. It was perfect in size and especially bright, clean and modern. The tall ceilings and comfortable bed/bedding made this a great retreat for my husband and myself. We were able to walk to town, restaurants, and walk the dog around the park across the street. The only drawback to this rental is the noise from above. There is a family with preschoolers living upstairs, and they don't mean to be loud, but it often was extremely raucous. We did not complain, as there was nothing to be done, as kids are going to run, jump and race at that age.

Our family of four fit perfectly into this nicely laid out home. It had all the conveniences we needed. The location was perfect with easy access to the freeway, down the street from the shops and beach without all the hubbub associated with crowds. A definite stay favorite.

Great rental property

Elizabeth & Paul made us feel so welcome at their home. We would definitely stay again. So close to the beach & and town with lots of restaurants & shops. Our little dog was most welcome & a park is conveniently across the road.

Perfect

My husband and I spent the Thanksgiving holiday here, along with our yellow lab. Everything was just as pictured and described. Elizabeth is a gracious and thoughtful host and quickly answers any questions that arise. I agree with all the previous reviews. This is definitely a 5-star find!
