Family get away

Amazing location! Great lay out of the cabin. Well stocked kitchen. Dock and lake were the highlight of the trip!

Our party of 8 had the best time at HLC! Top deck, bottom deck, games, views, laughs, dock, the lake! I mean this home has it all and more. The only complaints where when we had to leave (a sad sad day). This home is truly beyond comfortable and such a delight to be lucky enough to spend time at.

We had an excellent stay at Heffley Lake. We were there 8 days. The listing description is accurate and the checkin process was a breeze. Only comment I will make to the contrary is purely weather based. Do to a slight gain in elevation the air temperatures will be a bit cooler than Heffley Creek or Kamloops. All that being said we had a great stay and would definantely book again in the future.

Perfect for our long ski weekend with another family. Only 15 minute drive from Sun Peaks. Spacious. Great kitchen. Great outdoor spaces that made us want to come back in the summer.

Fabulous!

Stunning lakeside home. Superb location and home had everything we needed, and more. It was so peaceful by the lake, the weather was kind to us so we were able to make use of the paddle boards and kayaks. Owners were extremely helpful and even called in during our stay to check everything was ok. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous home and would highly recommend it.

Amazing cottage

Everything was better than expected. The house is so well equipped that we didn't lack anything. Loved all the toys and games... kept us all busy the entire week. We will be back.

Overall an absolute delight to stay in this cabin - lots and lots of space, located in such a beautiful area with direct access to the lake. We stayed for 4 nights and didn't even go to Sunpeaks since being in the cabin/at Heffley Lake was absolutely stunning.There were a few little things that could've been better, but they weren't limiting our experience in any way. For example, it didn't seem to have enough cloths/no scrub for cleaning, some of the utensils still had a bit of food on them (e.g., garlic in the garlic press), and the dishwasher didn't clean properly which is why we washed everything by hand. Also, we weren't able to find oven mitts. But these were all small little details that in the end don't matter much. We all had a magnificent time!

Family Vayca

In this time of Covid it was lovely to be surrounded by trees and the lake. Never used hand sanitizer once! Lovely and clean, loads of fun ( and stairs!). Everyone one of us from age 5-65 had a blast. Our weather wasn't the best but there was so much to do no one minded.

Mountain biking near Kamloops and Sun peaks

Perfect cabin for our group of 7. Many games to keep us entertained. The house was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for cooking. Owner was helpful and easy to communicate with. Located between Sun peaks and Kamloops, we had many options to mountain bike.

Great place to get away.

We just spent 5 nights at HLC and would come back in a heart beat. From lake activities to indoor games there was lots to do and the house was perfect for our family. Lots of room, all the amenities of home with a fantastic view! Great family vacation spot. TR

Great stay with the family

Had a awesome stay, was better then expected. If you have a small child I would suggest bringing a baby gate as the spiral stair case is in the main area. Also, couldn’t find any life jackets so suggest bringing your own. Overall lovely stay :)

Beautiful lake front house

We just returned from an amazing week at this beautiful lake front house. The house is really clean , the beds are comfortable, we especially loved the huge deck area off the main level , we lived out there!! We all made use of the kayaks and SUP and the small boat on the pristine lake. Shari & Glenn are great to deal with and are quick to answer any questions you may have ! I wanted to book for next year but there’s no availability!! We highly recommend this property , you’ll love it !

Great getaway spot, for all seasons

This is a wonderful property. Proximity to the mountains made this a great spot for our winter/ski getaway. The lakefront is undoubtedly amazing in summer. The place is spacious, clean and comfortable. It is well stocked and the games room was a big hit with the kids.

A great weekend away
