Beautiful lakefront family home, only 15 minutes to Sun Peaks

Our beautiful waterfront family home is located on Heffley Lake, British Columbia, just 15 minutes down the road from Sun Peaks Resort. This vacation rental is perfect for families with over 2400 square feet of open concept living, 5 bedrooms, 2 decks and a 12’ x 20’ private dock on the water.

This is the place to make memories for your family holidays and special gatherings. Fun, play, laughter, and relaxation await you in our cozy main floor family room with wood burning fireplace or in the lower games room complete with a pool table. Just outside the door there are hiking and walking trails for all ages and abilities.

Trail Name: Embleton Mountain
Distance: 8.9km
Time: 2 - 3 hrs
Trail Conditions: Loose dirt, single track, fairly steep
Highlights: The views of Heffley a lake and surrounding hills from the summit are gorgeous. Once at the there, you'll find a gazebo and picnic tables waiting for you. During the summer months, you'll also enjoy a beautiful variety of mountain flowers.

Enjoy trying your hand at fishing. The lake is stocked every year with rainbow trout.

We stayed here for our annual family and friends fishing trip. The house is beautiful and comfortable. We really enjoyed being able to dock our boats for the entire stay as we have previously stayed off the lake, even if the stairs/trail were a little long. We would definitely recommend staying here

Idyllic cabin for ski trips

Property was wonderful, and well equipped for a large group. Host was gracious, communicative and prompt in responses. Location was ideal for skiing sun peaks, as it’s only a 15 minute drive away.

Longtime buds fishing trip

Luxury cabin

We stayed 3 nights in this beautiful, well stocked cabin. Easy to pop up for a day of skiing at Sun Peaks, totally cozy when we got back. Well looked after, beautifully decorated, everything you need and quick communication with the hosts.

Great Family Retreat

We were able to have a fantastic family gathering including grandparents, parents and children. Everyone had enough space to feel comfortable and the cabin had everything we needed as far as supplies, games and amenities. Great location on the lake with peaceful sounds of nature all around. We hope to make this an annual event.

Great Cozy Accommodations

Peter’s place is a great spot for a group in both summer and winter. Short distance to Sun Peaks village, right in the lake. Beautiful view, fully stocked. Plenty of space for large group. We highly recommend!

Loved it, would love to come back!

The kitchen was so well stocked, and we were able to cook so many tasty meals and even a cake! Loved having lots of space to spread out and not be in each other's spaces all the time, but also having a lot of group gathering spaces for dinner and playing pool. Thank you so much for having us!

Wonderful location, had everything we needed!

We had such a great time. The rooms were lovely, and the bathrooms and heated floors were very much appreciated! The kitchen had everything we might have needed — the only problem was remembering where everything was! We would love to come back again if you'll have us.

Family Get Together

Awesome stay! The number of bedrooms and bathrooms makes it perfect for a multi generational family get together. Large open areas in the main part of the house, deck and dock for hanging out and the house is very well equipped. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Lovely house, completely as advertised. Host was great to deal with. There were a couple of small deficiencies but nothing was a deal breaker. We’d stay here again for a weekend soon!!

Heffley Lake Home near Sun Peaks

This is the second time we've taken our Alpine Team to Sun Peaks and stayed here. Peter's place was perfect for our group meals as the kitchen is full stocked. The space is more than enough for the 10 of us to enjoy games, books and the pool table. Hopefully we'll have another race at Sun Peaks so we can book Peter's place again in the future.

Beautiful house with great location

This is a beautiful house with a great layout for larger groups. Peter was a very attentive host who was very responsive and attentive to our needs. It's close to Sunpeaks but far enough away to experience the beauty of its surroundings. We are definitely booking again for next year's training and competitions.

Heffley Lake Experience

Arriving back at the cabin of skiing, we enjoyed games, reading by the fireplace and prepping delicious dinners. Our alpine team cooked together in the fully stocked kitchen with anything we needed. Thanks for sharing your place.
