The property had everything we needed and more. It was a cool and comfortable respite during a heat wave. We enjoyed the canal deck. The location was excellent; literally next door to the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, so close to the sights in San Marco.

Wonderful location and amazing deck!

Having a private deck on the Grand Canal is amazing and worth the entire stay. The location, a quieter neighborhood makes it even better to get away from the rush of tourists, yet still very convenient. The apartment is beautiful and customized although might be quirky for some. Its minty green color seems to be the hot color in fashion. The only down side is the bathroom showers, one is just part of the bathroom with no containment and the other is very small with a bad shower curtain. All in all it’s a pretty amazing place.

Great location in the heart of Venice

Though the style of the apartment may not be our taste, too many mirrors and a interesting green color, this apartment is all about location. Directly on the grand canal, with a private garden and all the needs of staying in the heart of Venice. Washing machine was great for us as well packing for three weeks in Italy with a carry on. Comfortable bed and sleeping arrangements. Highly recommend.

Perfect in Every Way!

My adult daughter and I stayed here for 4 cold, rainy days, but in spite of the weather our visit was perfect. The apartment is stunning, and very well equipped, and the large glass doors opening on the canal let us enjoy the Grand Canal while staying warm and dry. Everything was sparkling clean and the touches of luxury, including hand-embroidered linens made us feel like royalty! Viewing the Rosalba Carriara exhibit at the nearby Accademia Gallery knowing we were staying in part of her home was a very special experience. And having a front view seat for the coming and going of boats to the Guggenheim right next door was fun. Thank you to the hosts and to Gozde who met us with the key and helped us settle in.

Incredible!

GradDelux canal is the best appartment we have ever stayed in. It was simply beautiful, stylishly decorated to the highest spec, with every amenity and thought. The bed was very comfortable and offered a view to the canal and garden. The absolute highlight was sitting in the small deck, surrounded by flowers watching the world go past on the Canal. I also enjoyed my morning nespresso sitting in the serene back garden smelling the beautiful jasmine. Ernst was very helpful meeting and gave lots of recommendations. We had a wonderful meal at Osteria Enoteca Ai Artisti and left luggage safely on check out at Store your Luggage in Dorsoduro. I would not hesitate to book this, it will leave you many memories! .

Perfect 👍 in Venice

Property was better than the listing. A dock on the Grand Canal was the perfect place to relax and watch the world of Venice go by. Great location and easy to get to all the tourist sites as well as great local restaurants and pubs. Far enough off the main path so not your usual touristy busy scene. Freddy who was our contact was very helpful and quickly responded to all of our questions. The interior of the property was so well done we so enjoyed all the little details. It was also close to the water taxi lines which is one of the best ways to get around, just stay away from the busy touristy stops during peak times or you may be in for a bit of a wait. We ran into people who rented other properties in the area and they all said they would trade theirs for the dock on the Grand Canal. You won’t be dissapointed. T&N

Perfect location for a stay in Venice.

The apartment is on the Grand Canal adjacent the Peggy Guggenheim museum.The waterside patio is the perfect location to watch Venice go by. Dorsoduro is a quieter,more genteel part of Venice. The apartment is clean and well stocked with glasses,crockery and cutlery. A wide range of restaurants are within easy access. Also a variety of transport options. Arrival from the airport by water taxi was a perfect way to start our stay of six days.

Beautiful apartment with stunning views

The apartment interior details are beautiful! Looks and feels like you are in a boat because of the long room with water views. The dock is where you get the bang for your buck! Great views of the canal! The location within the Dorsoduro is perfect! Can’t wait to return!

Einzigartig - Luxus pur- Urlaub mitten in Venedig.

Wir wurden bestens betreut - eingewiesen in eine Luxuswohnung - gestalterisch einzigartig - es fehlte uns an nichts - der Blick auf den Canale Grande mit der Stadt und ihren Bürgern aufwachen. Frühstück auf unserem Privatdeck oder im Partio direkt neben dem Schlafzimmer… auf dem mercato die frischen Angebote- bester Fisch dann gleich mit dem Boot zurück und ab in den Kühlschrank. Abends beim Sonnenuntergang das beste Menü… Neben uns das Peggy Guggenheimmuseum. Näher kann Kunst und Kultur nicht sein. Schade , dass Peggy zum Campari nicht mal schnell aufs Deck gekommen ist. Ja das Haus der renommierten Künstlerin Rosalba Carriera… muss auch immer mal wieder renoviert werden- die Fassade wurde von sehr angenehmen Handwerkern zeitweise gestaltet- es nahm uns nicht den Blick auf den Canale Grande und gab uns auch die Chance in den venezianischen Alltag integriert zu werden. Das ist eine etwas andere Haltung … ebenso war es faszinierend zu erleben wie von einem Schiff aus mit den Kran 5 Pfeiler bei Guggenheims in 1 Std. 15 Minuten herausgehieft- auf dem Boot zersägt wurden und gleichzeitig 5 neue reingerammt wurden- Venedig live .Danke an Mick / Ernst und ? Ja, es war genau richtig das Kühlsystem in Anspruch zu nehmen. Wenn ich das schreibe könnte ich gleich wieder in den FlixBus steigen - die beste Art zu reisen -wenig Aufwand der geringste CO 2 Ausstoss und … mit 5 Minuten Verspätung in Freiburg angekommen. Alle Bilder sind noch im Kopf - Gruß nach Venedig Hanna und Christel

Baugerüst und Bauarbeiten

Leider wurden wir erst einen halben Tag vor Ankunft über das Baugerüst auf der Terrasse und im Garten informiert. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt waren wir schon unterwegs nach Venedig (700 km). Vor Ort wurde uns zugesagt, dass es keinerlei Baulärm geben würde, was leider nicht der Wahrheit entsprach. Von einer seriösen Agentur hätte ich erwartet, dass man einige Tage vor Mietbeginn entsprechende Info über die Bauarbeiten erhält und man dann die Möglichkeit bekommt kostenlos zu stornieren. (Es gab 25% Rabatt vor Ort wegen der Baumaßnahmen).

Unique place, great location

Property is unique as described. Location is great - obviously being on the canal is beautiful, but being close to everything as well. Bridge nearby for easy access to San Marco. Lots of fun shops and eateries nearby. Love the neighborhood.

Dreamboat!

Loved this property for its decor details and the air flow front to back with stunning things to look at. I loved getting picked up by boat to go to airport! It is fun place to stay- watch your step as there are a few ledges . I would stay here again!!

Experience Venice at its Best

What a package. Excellent location surrounded by art shops and restaurants...close to St. Mark's Square via bridge. Superior decorating, well appointed with patio on the water AND a private plant lined fountain patio by your bedroom. Picked up at our dock by taxi for airport--how easy is that!!! Refrig., dishwasher, washing machine--clothes dry in less than an hour on back patio. Watch and listen to all the boats and activity on the grand canal--water lapping to relax your soul. Romantic lights at night. A slice of heaven is here. Treat yourself.

Perfect for our Wedding

Great! We loved almost everything. A few small details like bigger towels, bathroom bins and longer hot water in the shower would make this place absolutely perfect. We loved our stay and would stat here again in a heartbeat.
