Anna Maria Island es una isla tropical de siete millas y media de largo. The condo just looked tired! There was shoddy work done around the unit and it had a musty smell to it. We had the ice maker spring a leak in the middle of the night, the toilet handle broke, the hot/cold water was reversed in the master bath and the tub leaked. We liked the location, the staff response time and the view. We were just disappointed in the quality for the price.

Liked our location although very busy & traffic was very congested. Pedestrians watch out! Drivers are not conscious of you or courteous even at the crosswalks. Hang onto your kids. Our rental was not clean. I say not clean but perhaps it was so old & outdated it couldn’t be cleaned. Inside of microwave was bubbled & corroded. Unusable! Peeling paint, mold on bathroom tile, cabinets are yellowed with age. Furniture was ok but the place needs updated. It certainly needs help!!

Use and comfort

Nothing in the unit is comfortable. The living room furniture is like cheap patio furniture, low to the floor and extremely uncomfortable. The kitchen is poorly equipped. Mismatched everything. The toilets are very low and hard to use and no matter what you use it for in the master bedroom you had to flush 2-3 times. Overall this particular unit is old, dated and very uncomfortable. The weather wasn’t the greatest the time we were there so we had to spend more time in the unit. Not comfortable and not a pleasant experience. We will not go back to this unit. The floors were dirty, when you come out of the shower and walk on the floor with bare feet the bottoms of your feet are dirty. For the price of this unit you expect a well supply of kitchen utensils and cookware, matching silverware and dishes. Not this unit. We go to AMI every year at Christmas for 2 weeks, we look forward to it, this year we looked forward to going home. Which we did we left early.

Bradenton Beach

The overall property was well maintained our condo was ok needed to be updated like others in the complex to give it a fresh look. The furniture had sand left from previous occupant. A/C worked well as it was extremely warm that week. Lots of restaurants with in walking distance along with trolley made it a nice touch. Bradenton is a nice family friendly place to stay and visit.

Great location

Location is terrific! Can walk to so much plus beach & pool are right there. Had everything we needed but is very out dated. We didn't stay inside condo much during day so it was okay. Bed was very uncomfortable unless you like an extremely firm mattress.

Do not trust - they lie

We asked about Red Tide and told it was fine. We arrived to dead fish and smell everywhere. Beach was unusable and unsafe. It hurt to breath and irritated our skin. They told us literally the day before arrival it was fine so we booked another day. So they took our money for another day knowing they were literally cleaning tons of dead fish off the beach daily. I would not be mad if I wouldnt have specifically asked before travelling. I would have lots a deposit - instead we lost over 2K for a condo we left after a day. Take what you want from this review but I will never trust them again.

Best location on Anna Maria Island

Wake up looking over the Intercostal waterway. Breakfast on the screened private porch. Beautiful pool just steps away. Washer and dryer in the unit. Walk to 3-4 restaurants in less than one block. Walk across the street to the beautiful, wide, sugar sand beach. Boat marina just 1 block away for dolphin cruises, sunset cruises, jet ski rental or boat rental. Beach was not crowded and family focused. Several restaurants had live music daily. Eat at the Tide Table across the Cortez bridge. Excellent fresh fish and key lime pie.

Great if you like sleeping with termites!

Nice location on the bay, a short walk to the beach. Walkable distance to many places and close to free trolley stops that run the length of the island. The first night it was found that termites were nesting in the box spring of one of the twin beds. When property management was notified they said "Well, you ARE in Florida!" They sent out cleaners who did what they could, but no one wanted to sleep in the room with bugs. They said we could check out and get a refund, but we had no where to go and they didn't offer another place. So our vacation was spent with 3 adults sleeping in the king size bed (which was a very comfortable mattress) and 1 person on the couch, which was a less than ideal situation.

Hello Michael, Thank you for taking the time to write your review. You did call us and report the termites. This is the time of the year in Florida that the termites tend to swarm. This can happen at any given time without notice. There is nothing we were able to do immediately after this incident besides send in the cleaning crew to clean again. We called the Pest Control company and got an appointment for a spot treatment at the Pest Control company’s first available time slot. We could not offer you another property because we did not have anything else available for your dates which is why we offered you a refund. We are very sorry this happened during your stay, but unfortunately this is one of those instances where we have no control over what happened and we tried to offer you what we could—which was to check out and get a refund.
