Encantadora casa unifamiliar con vistas al mar desde cada habitación de recepción y dormitorio. A pocos metros de la playa de arena dorada de Blue Flag and Seaside Award, Westbrook Bay. Una playa familiar segura con socorristas y un café en temporada alta. En una plaza ajardinada con canchas de tenis gratuitas. Gran jardín alrededor con barbacoa. Estacionamiento en la calle para hasta dos autos y estacionamiento gratuito en la calle. A un corto paseo de Margate Sands y del maravilloso parque temático retro Dreamlands. Una gran cantidad de atracciones locales.

Great property

Fabulous house,with amazing views over sandy beach.Shop,takeaway and bus stop within easy walking distance.Lovely garden.Well equipped house with high quality towels and bedding.Would recommend this property and would be happy to stay there again.

The property is absolutely amazing. The house and it's location is spectacular! The privacy is wonderful with the high fence and gated drive. We enjoyed it immensely! It really was all we wanted to be near the beach and our family living nearby (just a lane away). It provided us a place to host our family for Sunday roast and other dinners. Most importantly the children were safe and had load of the garden area to enjoy without us worrying about them near the road. The owners have everything you could need, beach chairs, toys for the kids etc.. The only downfall and why I did not rate 5 stars is the trash situation, we arrived for a 7 night stay with full bins and the owners would not have someone come and pick up trash. Cleaners should take so next guest does not need to have the same issue. Also, bedding could be updated, sheets and pillows. All around we loved sunset corner and would consider returning again.

Lovely Christmas had by all!

Lovely home with large rooms. Equipped with everything you could possibly need for a stay. Well positioned on the seafront. Walking distance to Margate town by the promenade or road. Lovely views from each window of the sea. There are no negatives at all. Would love to return in the future. Thank you! 10/10

The house was absolutely excellent A beautiful 1923 art deco property with many original featuresHad a few days for New Year. Lovely decorations up on arrival Spacious for the family Plenty of room bathroom amenities exceptional bed rooms extremely comfortable. being an older property felt rather cool however once heating managed by a hive thermostat we managed to keep the house warmThe kitchen rather dated met our needs and the use of the dinning room hatch worked perfectly the connectivity of the TV and Wi-Fi was excellent throughout the houseMaybe renew furniture in lounge as not particularly comfortable Overall a truly lovely property and would recommend to family and friends

Lovely house just needs a little TLC

Very homely and comfortable accommodation but could be so much more with a little tlc We so wanted to give it 5 stars but just a few little things let it down, towels still wet in the tumble dryer on our arrival and a mixture of towels and bath mats! Not too much of a problem as we had brought our own to use on the beach. No hair dryer provided and whilst looking for one in the draws found two pairs of ladies pants so perhaps not checked as well as could have been. A mouse came to join us also which not a problem except the droppings on the worktops in the morning so all food had to be bagged and put out of reach, our main concern with this was when reporting the issue no action was taken. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a lovely position over looking the beach, just the little issues that mentioned could have made it perfect.

Lovely house but rather neglected and tired but great position

We were really looking forward to this stay to celebrate a family Birthday but unfortunately there were a few issues with the property that spoiled the experience so much so that we left earlier than anticipated. The property is in a very good position with great views however the windows were so dirty that it spoiled these views. The property was not very clean and all the touch points were sticky and or visibly dirty ie window handles door handles. The downstairs shower was so unappealing I personally couldn't use it and the upstairs bathroom shower did not have a riser rail or curtain so not possible to shower, in addition the shower head and hose leaked so water went everywhere. The lid on the high level flush in the upstairs toilet was not fixed so every time you pulled the flush it hit the lid and made such a loud noise it gave you a fright and woke up others in the house. No hairdryer so I had to buy one and no egg cups. Bed linen tired and not fresh looking and lots of cobwebs and dust, no attention to detail at all. It is a shame as it is a lovely house but rather neglected and tired looking. I have already given feedback to the property owner/manager and I really hope they can resolve these issues for future guests.

We are sorry to hear that your expectations weren’t met and that you decided to leave a day early. We would have been happy to try and address the issues you raise above during the first few days of your stay, had you alerted us to them. Feedback on our other booking sites is much more positive! As a a character home (as reflected by the photographs on the site) maintenance issues do sometimes arise and we are grateful if guests can point these out at the time. The house is cleaned between guests and has since undergone a further, regular, deep clean.

Christmas 21

A lovely, large house, right opposite the beach. We stayed over Christmas and it was a nice touch that the owners had put up a Christmas tree and decorations. The house was very comfortable and with Margate 10 mins walk away and local shops round the corner, everything needed for a nice break is there.

Enjoying a large corner plot on a garden square with free tennis courts and a bowling club. Access to the Viking Coastal trail allows cyclists and walkers to explore the Thanet Coast Line.
