Pier View Cottage es una casa de playa frente al mar clásico que tiene capacidad para 10 personas cómodamente y captura todas las ventajas de vivir frente al mar. Tres de los cuatro dormitorios y la sala de estar con amplias cubiertas frente al mar con unas vistas incomparables. Podrá disfrutar de un paseo privado a la playa, ducha al aire libre, sillas de playa, columpio y mecedoras. Lo que realmente diferencia esta casa aparte son los muchos amplios porches, uno de ellos con vistas a la tranquila Mar Drive para disfrutar de una taza de café y el papel. Además de todas las comodidades de la casa hay cuatro televisores, estéreo, acceso inalámbrico a Internet. We loved it

This house suited us beautifully. If you don’t mind oldish furnishings and appliances, this house is fantastic. Very clean, and of course the location is spectacular.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pier View! The location is perfect, as is the layout of the house. Ralph was great to work with. I had a few concerns on arrival, but he took care of them immediately! We hope to stay at Pier View again next year. Thanks for sharing your home with us!!

Beach Front Vacation

Pier View was a great vacation home. Steps from the beach and perfect quiet location. Home was exactly as advertised, clean and comfortable. just right for our family of seven adults and one infant. We will definitely keep this home on our list for future visits!

Awesome Vacation

Our family (6 adults, 3 children) just returned home from an amazing week sharing this beach house. We found everything about the property to be as advertised...plenty of space inside & out; magnificent view of the ocean; only steps from the beach; all on a quiet street. Extra perks that we appreciated were a supply of beach chairs & kids' sand toys. Ralph was a very hospitable and accomodating host with timely responses to our inquiries.

Week stay in April

Had a wonderful time overall. I thought for the price of the stay for the week some of the things could have been updated. Family had a lovely time though. My daughter loved the deck swing, the high chairs were nice on the deck as well to view the ocean.

2nd time around

This was our second time here- it’s perfect for our family and dogs! Amazing location that’s close to food and ice cream. The new Pier is a bonus as you can walk to it in 5 minutes. Owner is super nice and there for you-highly recommend!

A great winter getaway

Who knew the beach would get snow?!! Definitely did not hamper our ability to have fun. This was the perfect property for our needs. We learned our little dog absolutely loves the beach and snow! Excellent location-walking distance to our favorite places to eat. This is the most perfect beach front dog friendly situation. We made some core memories for sure. Can’t wait to return. Our host was attentive to our needs and excellent with communication.

Great area for a relaxing vacation

House was as described and check in was super easy! We had 6 Adults and 1 toddler and had more than enough room! The views are amazing and the location is close to the Pier Restaurants and Shops. We loved trying out new coffee shops and only cooked a few times but loved that we had everything we needed to make dinner and breakfast. We loved the area and are thankful for the week of family time.

Nice beach house

Wonderful home and location. Loved the deck and chairs. They do need new mattresses, some things need updating but it is a beach house and everything works.

Fantastic!

Pier View is cozy and comfortable. Directly on the beach, this home offered wonderful views of the ocean with stunning sunrises, plenty of seashells and gentle waves. The rooms were nice and the kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed being near the heart of Surfside with the convenience of shops and restaurants nearby. The host was kind and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a perfect stay!

OHHHH SO PERFECT!

We had an unforgettable stay at this amazing beachfront home in Surfside Beach! The house itself was perfect — beautifully maintained, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable, with every amenity we could have asked for. The location couldn’t have been better, right on the beach with breathtaking sunrises every morning.We explored the area a bit — visiting Pawleys Island, the Marshwalk at Murrells Inlet, and even Myrtle Beach — but honestly, we hardly needed to leave this gorgeous home. It was such a treat to have our dogs with us, and they loved it as much as we did! Our boys especially enjoyed surfing and fishing, both right in front of the house and at the pier just a short walk away.The beachfront location made it especially easy for my 88-year-old dad to join in the fun. He could walk right down to the water, and when he got tired, he could retreat to the shaded front porch and watch his grandchildren fish, surf, and enjoy the beach right in front of him.Ralph, the owner, was wonderful — very friendly, quick to answer all our questions, and full of excellent local restaurant recommendations that did not disappoint.We can’t recommend this property highly enough and look forward to returning. Thank you for sharing this incredible home with us!

Loved the location of the property. Walking distance to restaurants was great. Loved the covered porch and swing. The beds were not comfortable, The house needs at least 2 king beds. More comfortable sitting in the den. I do recommend staying here,

Perfect family beach house

Wonderful spot for family beach vacation! Fabulous and furnished beachside porches outside 3 of the 4 bedrooms (all except the bunk bed room that is on the street side). The view and sounds of the ocean were wonderfully soothing. Internet was fast and reliable. Owner was attentive and immediately responsive. The appliances and decor are nothing fancy but that's why it's reasonably priced, and everything was clean, comfortable, and in working order. We would stay again!

Family BeachTrip 2024

Looking for a beach house that has a quaint appearance and charm! We definitely got that! We spent our complete time there enjoying the ocean. We would drink coffee every morning sitting on the porch on their tall adirondack chairs watching dolphins and fishing boats. The view was incredible!! My wife spent every day shelling. The beds were comfortable. We would consider staying here again. Our host was always available and very helpful.

Labor Day week vacation

Great house in great location with wonderful views. Roomy and comfortable. We appreciated the high chairs on the ocean front porch and the beach chairs too. We had no issues with the house. The freezer has an ice maker which seems petty but is super helpful. Kitchen nicely stocked for cooking.

Summer Vacation

We had a great time at Ocean Paradise. Almost every room had a view of the ocean, and we spent a lot of time on the covered porch - just enjoying the views, people watching and even got to witness a few storms (safely). The house had all the amenities and Ralph was very responsive with any questions leading up the stay, not to mention very informative regarding check in and suggested several cool places within walking distance. It was great being about 1/4 mile from a beach shop and 5 restaurants. There is a dog park very nearby which was good for our dogs as it was a VERY hot week which didn't allow for long walks like they are used to. We enjoyed our stay very much and would consider renting it again.

The best thing about this house is it’s location.

We enjoyed walking to restaurants, the pier, and ice cream shop. Piggly Wiggly and Walmart close by. The porch was great to sit in the shade but still feel close to the sand and surf. Beds were comfy. AC worked well. Mr. And Mrs. Nappi will quickly respond to any questions or concerns. We used the booster seat for the 15 month old. Brought our own gate for the outside porch stairs, but did notice one in the kitchen closet. Will be staying here again.

Perfect location!

Beautiful beachfront location. Beautiful front and back porches with plenty of seating. Within walking distance to a few restaurants and bars. Rented a golf cart for a couple of days; which was good for exploring. House was ok. Needs a major cleaning. Dog hair tumbleweeds uncovered all week. Refrigerator was dirty and stinky. Some plumbing issues. Upstairs toilet finally had to be replaced in Jack & Jill bath. Downstairs tub never drains all the way (this was mentioned to plumber but not fixed). But again, great location!

Christmas at the Beach

Twas the night before Christmas Eve, when all through the South Temperatures were dropping and impacted the water spout Old man winter came knocking, and no one was spared He froze water pipes everywhere We nestled snuggly in the warmth of nice beach house beds While visions of a family Christmas at the beach danced in our heads When all of a sudden, we woke to water rushing out of a pipe with a splatter I called the owner Ralph Nappi, and he quickly tended to the matter He sprang into action and made phone calls in a flash A plumber soon came and fixed the pipe's gash The above happened while we were there over the Christmas holidays, and most of the country was in a major deep freeze. I was so impressed with the owner that I felt sorry because the pipe burst on Christmas Eve. Pipes were bursting all over as that area had not seen temperatures that low in over 30 years. The house was perfect for family gatherings or girl's getaways. Three of the bedrooms have ocean views, and you can step out on the balcony from the bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked with the needed equipment to prepare a Christmas family dinner. And Yawl (I am a Southern girl), we had ham, collards, dressing, roast, mac n cheese, etc. There were mixing bowls, serving sets, you name it. There was even a muffin pan. My family and I enjoyed sitting on the deck, watching the sunrise, even in the cold. The place allowed us to bring our four-legged family members (must let the owner know), and it was immaculate. I was delighted because I am funny about my four-legged baby. The location is awesome as it is near the pier and just a quick drive away; you have many grocery stores available if you need something. It is within easy walking distance of several restaurants. I recommend this place and will be back.

Karen and I purchased Pier View in 2011 to enjoy with family and friends throughout the year. We love the location on the beach and on a small two block street that provides a level of privacy that is not usual in most oceanfront vacation communities.
