Abbeie, bungalow with private pool

Abbeie is a nice holiday home for six persons. It is a recently built bungalow with a beautiful large private well heated swimming pool (12 x 6) on 7000 m2 of private land. From porch and pool you have stunning views over the valley. If you like peace and quiet and yet want to be right in the tourist centre of the Dordogne, this might be the holiday home of your dreams! The house is well insulated, so the heat is kept outside and the inside stays cool. Everything is on one level and there are no doorsteps.

Interior
The living room and kitchen are both practical and cozy, you have everything you need. For the chilly moments there’s a fireplace (for the romantic couples amongst us).
There are three bedrooms, two with a double bed and one with a bunk bed. All the rooms are nicely decorated. Furthermore there are two bathrooms.

The house is well insulated which guarantees a perfect indoor climate, even during the hot summer days. Everything is on one level are there are no doorsteps.

Exterior
The large very well heated swimming pool of 12 x 6 meters is a real tropical surprise. It’s also safe for young children thanks to the security system.
In case the weather isn’t that great, you can still make use of the large covered veranda. It’s lovely to sit there as you can enjoy the amazing view of this beautiful area. As the house is located on a hill, there are stunning views overlooking the valley when sitting in the veranda or near the swimming pool.

Environment
The house is located in the beautiful nature of the Dordogne, in the triangle of Sarlat, Gourdon and Souillac. The historic town of Domme is nearby and the Dordogne river is only six 6 km away from the house.

Activities
If you want to be really active you can go to the river for some canoeing or you can rent bikes and enjoy the environment by bike. Furthermore you can go horseback riding, enjoy beautiful walks, visit famous caves, visit beautiful castles, visit charming villages and towns, etc.
