We made the best of it.

My family and I stayed at this property for 7 days and had a wonderful beach trip however the property was less than satisfactory. We will not be visiting the property again.

Rental at Sea Breeze

The apartment was clean and well stocked.The only problem was the noise from owners working on their apartments and repairs to the building.

Mixed feelings

Condo location was great! Beds, bathroom and balcony all exactly as described! All staff were very nice and as helpful as they could be. Parking is a nightmare! I chose the place for the space, location to beach and it said 2 parking spaces per guest available. Description also said oversized parking available.I Barely got one space due to the deck being full and oversized was for maybe a minivan or average sized truck. The parking would be the only reason I would not return. If you have a small car and only one you might have a chance!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo in entirety is extremely dated. All walls have paper that is starting to peel off. The pictures make the rooms look a lot larger than actual. The tile hallway was very slimy feeling and the carpet needs cleaned. Could use some updated plates, silverware, etc. Parking is very tight. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful community and beach. We would just prefer to have a more updated condo.

Short Notice

Reviewer Comments: Less than 24 hrs before we were to leave for vacation we received a email saying that they were moving us to another condo because the one we booked was to have new cabinets installed on Monday which was located on the second floor. We were moved to the 14th floor which was OK until we saw the condo. My wife and daughter could not open sliding door which went outside on deck, the light in my daughter's room didn't work (fan light) which was the main light, no room in the master bathroom to sit any of your toiletries anywhere. Now after placing us on the 14th floor the elevators was down for two days for maintenance. I have stayed at Royal Gardens several times through the years with my sister and husband and really enjoyed my stay but this time was a vacation nightmare. Taking your stuff out to the beach is one thing but being on the 14th floor and two out of three elevators down for two days of the four days of your vacation was tough. The day before we left I went to put our wet towels outside on the deck and when I opened the sliding door the whole left side of the casing came off the other door, I took pictures and you could tell that it was rigged up and it had happened before. So if you get a email on a short notice it would probably be in your best interest to pick the phone up and call with a few questions. Never thought Royal Gardens would ever do this but I guess times have changed.

My wife and I stayed for a month in this condo on the 14th floor.

It is located on the seaside a few steps from the beach. An indoor heated and outdoor pool is very good, in addition a spa is at our disposal. The hotel staff likes to help as well as Sea Breeze Realty rental. The condo is good but would need some improvements the sofa the cushions are very soft, the wifi disconnects constantly and the hot water tank would need to be checked, because after two showers there is no hot water.

I would have appreciated having access to the swimming pool throughout my stay, but I understand that there is maintenance to be done. Regarding the geographical location of the Royal Garden, for me it is very well located, because we play golf mainly in the south and in the center. The condo was clean when we arrived. I suggest the owner either load their couch or have it reupholstered, as the cushions are very soft and uncomfortable. Also we had difficulty with the internet which disconnected very often. The staff at the Royal Garden were very helpful and kind. We will be with you in October 2024 at the same condo.

Disappointing Comfort

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The comfort of the furniture and beds were very disappointing. The Master was like sleeping on the floor it was so hard. It’s not a vacation when you’re not getting good rest at night. The living room furniture was also just as uncomfortable. There are ways to arrange furniture to accommodate larger more comfortable furniture and beds. For instance, hang TVs and get rid of the multiple dressers. Get rid of the bar stools because there is not even enough room to sit at the bar. So many different ways to arrange for better/more accommodating comfort in those areas. I also would have expected some general cleaning supplies (dish washing soap) and paper towels. Basically if you’re staying there for a period of time you have to bring or go buy these things to respectfully clean up behind yourself. The ceiling tile was out in the smaller second bathroom and you could hear the indoor fan motor on the air handler running all the time. This is the first time I have ever left a review. Normally I’m very reasonably understanding but I felt it was warranted to let the owners know they should spend more money on the comfort of their furniture. In return, future tenants resting period during their vacation will be more enjoyable unlike mine. My girlfriend and I are fairly young and we both tossed and turned all night trying to get comfortable and woke each morning with aches, pains, and tired from unrest.

Both rooms should be queen size accommodation for two men especially. Other than that I will stay at royal garden resort.

My 89 year old wife could not open it. The Adirondak plastic chairs are very difficult for elderly folks to get down on and get up from.

Not worth the money

Reviewer Comments: For over 30 years I have stayed at properties up and down NC and SC beaches. This unit was the worst I have stayed in and the first one I reviewed. As for the unit (1404); Dirty floors, very dim lighting, had to use a flashlight to operate laundry machines because light fixture did not work, towel rack torn from wall, broken shower curtain rod, bath fans come on automatically when light turned on (very aggravating) half eaten slim jim under bed, dirty balcony, gritty tables and counters, and no ice maker or ice cube trays. As for the building; one of three elevators out of order, only one goes to beach level, poor ventilation/no air conditioning in elevators, paint peeling from walls, and luggage carts locked up on busy move out day,

We love Royal Garden!

The property has had some upgrades since the photos were taken. Very nice! We enjoyed our stay and the condo very much! Would definitely stay again.

Reviewer Comments: Obviously aged with old drab bedding, peeling wallpaper, dirty walls, and dingy carpets. Despite the picture, there was no coffee pot. Fridge had excessive condensation. Bathrooms and kitchen were fairly clean. No beach at high tide. We rented an umbrella and had to put our bags way behind so as not to get wet by the waves.

Memorable Trip for Memorial Weekend

Reviewer Comments: We took a last minute trip to the beach over Memorial Day weekend and had a very enjoyable time. As frequent visitors to Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach we thought we would head a bit south and were rewarded with a lovely slice of beach near Garden City Beach. It was a very family friendly, beautiful beach and surrounding area. The condo was as nice as advertised and commensurate with the rate. Wonderful view and sounds of the ocean from the balcony.

Easy to love

My condo overlooked the ocean and was a perfect location to watch the Dolphins going north and south. Early in the morning I would the fishing boats marking their locations as they dropped their baskets and come back the next day for pickup. The staff of RGR was wonderful and their cooperation and consideration truly exhibited southern charm. The facility offers all of the amenities a person or family would want. Would I return for a three month winter stay - I can't wait
