"Courtyard" es la combinación perfecta de lo antiguo y lo nuevo, que ofrece a los visitantes el encanto y la elegancia de una casa de plantación tradicional de 1920, combinada con la comodidad de las comodidades modernas.

Gives you the best of Barbados

Our family of five had an excellent three days in 'Courtyard'. We have stayed in the Silver Sands/ Silver Rock area in the past and Inchcape Seaside Villas is a jewel in what we think is the best area of Barbados. The villa is beautifully furnished and the large second bedroom fits three beds very easily. The breezes make a/c irrelevant. The two sets of patio doors open to the master bedroom and the living room, giving you a great view of the ocean. Silver Sands is virtually a private beach for Inchcape, and the oceanfront area for the property itself provides other areas in which to relax and take in the spectacular scenery. Service was excellent and Wolfgang was proactive in making sure all was well. We rented a car, which is necessary if you have five or more people and want to try different restaurants and see other parts of the island. The west coast, Bridgetown, and St.Lawrence Gap are OK areas to visit but are very crowded. We were always happy to get back to Inchcape - where you really can get away from it all.

A quiet high quality place on SE coast of Barbados

A delightful stay for a quiet vacation, just 10 - 15 minutes from the action of Ostins. A relatively small property with varied rooms. Our unit was large, with a side porch with great ocean views. Unit was immaculate with a full kitchen. Wifi was excellent. Beach is right out the door, and virtually deserted. Wind surfer paradise is just one beach over, about a 10 minute walk. Be prepared for strong but warm breezes and good sized waves. Definitely a place we will return to.

Window to a perfect holiday!

We were a party of 3 and stayed at the Seaside Villas, Courtyard house at the end of January for four nights and loved every minute of it. There is nothing more relaxing to wake up and go to bed hearing the sound of the sea. It is truly a lovely villa and so is the property itself. You wake up in the morning, can have breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea and just in a few minutes you are in a beautiful beach for a perfect relaxation. We loved that the Silver Sands Beach is just next door and that its not crowded, we also loved the possibility to just chill by the terrace of the villa or swing on the hammock in the garden and just enjoy the view and the breeze. The villa inside is very spacious and very well kept and clean. Everything was nicely prepared for our arrival, all cooking facilities worked well and there were plenty of dishes to use for having a nice meal. We arrived late at night and Wolfgang had arranged for a taxi which was waiting for us nicely on time and the taxi driver even took us to a local mini market where we could very conveniently buy food for the next days. Next morning the cleaning lady came to say hi and showed us all the facilities which is also well appreciated - she is such a nice and helpful lady! Upon our departure, the wife of Wolfgang, Rosi, came to say bye which was also a nice gesture from her! The property is also well located - not far from the airport and it is also easy to use public transport for travelling around in the island. Only 5-10min walk up to the minimarket near the church where you find a bus stop which takes you to Oistins / Bridgetown. The buses run until midnight and we never had troubles getting back to the property even late at night. We would definitely stay again at the Seaside Villas and would recommend it to anyone - a group of friends or a family vacation as the place and the beach are truly amazing. We saw other hotels in town which we had looked into while looking for a place to stay in Barbados and after staying at the seaside Villas we would not had liked to spend our holidays in any other property in the island! Thanks a lot to Wolfgang and his team!

We stayed for 4 nights in the coconut suite. Thank you to Wolfgang for being able to fit my 4 day request into bookings that are usually one week. The property is remarkably well laid out. Each suite has a varied degree of privacy when wanted as well as adequate shade when needed. Loungers and patio sets accompany each suite. Some have hammocks. The view is spectacular and the sounds of the waves relaxing. The beach besides the property is very clean however mostly unswimmable because of the waves. Yesterday we counted 30 kite boards in the water off the beach. This is a villa which can suit your purpose very well if you know before hand what is around you. 1) this is a great place if you have meals planned and purchased to cook in the well appointed kitchen. Don't plan on a quick trip to grocery store as the nearest " real " supermarket is 7 mins away by car in Oistins 2) there are a couple of mini marts a 5 min walk away that have cold drinks and some basics 3) if you aren't content with sitting on the same beach each day, you will need a vehicle or have a taxi arranged for you. Several great beaches close by 4) only real restaurant within walking distance is sunset beach bar a 2 min walk away - great happy hour and they don't scrimp on the booze. Cheap and good. This resort is exactly what it states to be- self catering and pride of ownership Wolfgang and his wife Rosie shows through in the condition of the property. The staff on site are courteous and took care of any requests we made. All in all one of the best self catering units we have stayed in through our many years of travel. View spectacular, beach clean and beautiful sand and property first class

Huge, airy, wonderful apartment by the beach!

Our 4th time staying at Inchcape but our first in Courtyard. This apartment is huge, so airy and spacious, really for a family or 2 couples but we enjoyed it immensely. The balcony links the main bedroom and the lounge and gives wonderful views to the sea and lets the sound of the waves and beautiful sea breeze play through the building. Inchcape is situated on the south of the island and is away from all the tourist and super, over the top luxury hotels. Just the perfect place to relax and unwind in this beautiful cobbled courtyard complex of villas and apartments. The place is truly stunning, staff and hosts so friendly, gardens and grounds a delight and such a private secluded spot to base yourself. A delight to come home to every evening and wake up in every morning.

WOW!!!

Great Place We arrived hassle free being picked up from the Airport & taken to Inchcape by Rodney the transfer guy laid on by The Owner Wolfgang. When we arrived we were swiftly shown to the Courtyard our Villa for 2 weeks by Norma the ever smiling Villa manager. No more than 5 minutes later we had the Hire car guy at the Villa dropping off the car also organised by Wolfgang. Property description...... Wonderful Large Double bedroom & triple room for families, verandah looked right over the beach! Villa very clean with adequate Kitchen facilities" Good to go" Service fantastic from all staff in a cheery manner I would highly recommend this area to people wanting a real chilled beach holiday with Great restaurants not too far away!! Property Location..... For those of you who simply want to stay in the Shorts & kick back you can visit the the Surfers Beach restaurant literally 5 mins on foot from Inchcape/great bar with Ace Staff, food & atmosphere Need to hire a car to get to the local amenities The Beach at Inchcape is a surfers & Windsurfers Paradise with great rough Sea's Inchcape is only 10 minutes drive to Supermarkets & tranquil Miami beach where you could spend the whole day relaxing in the sun with a wonderful beach bar in the car-park behind the Beach called Ju's, she serves complete fish meals & burgers for the Kids with Wonderfull near frozen beer, in the main Beach car park you will find Mr delicious for a beachside Drink. The Restaurants we enjoyed the most were: "Aspara Samudra" Top Indian & Thai cuisine, Luna Cafe ( right on Miami beach)!! Not to forget the wonderful" Champers" for Top end food !!! Chicken Rita's is an experience who offer both take away or sit in chicken & Chips, if you go to Bathsheba (45Mins in car) you can also eat at the Roundhouse which has the best view over the crashing surf & lovely food to Boot... On the whole we were looked after from the start to the Finish with the ever efficient "owners & staff" at Inchcape, the whole experience with the lovely people & natural scenery make this a Great place to Holiday no matter if you want to beach it all day or simply drive around the Island and Chill !!!!!!!!! Paradise Extraordinaire

Inchcape is a great find. We had the Courtyard Villa for 10 days and could have stayed forever. The entire complex has fabulous grounds, a great windsurfing/kitesurfing beach, fabulous views of the beach from the house and patio, and extremely accommodation hosts. What more could you ask for? Rosie and Wolfgang arranged rental car, catamaran excursions, restaurants, cabs to and from the airport, etc. We will be back soon!!!

We were the first windsurfers in Silver Sands and made Silver Sands known as one of the best wave windsurfing and kitesurfing spots in the world. We are part responsible for the boost in tourism for the area we are located in. Numerous articles written by us and written by others about us and our activities, which were published in magazines wold wide and so contributed to lift the south coast of Barbados on the world map for outdoor activities as windsurfing, kitesurfing, SUP, surfing, boogie boarding cycling and many other sports. And in the tailwind of those who are now coming to take advantage of our incredible outdoor sports conditions, the ones who just seek to relax on a white sand beach also make a good percentage of tourist arrivals to the island.

The Inchcape Seaside Villas are situated in a unique location, right on the water at the western end of Silver Sands Beach. Inchcape, as it presents itself today, developed from a plantation property in 1920 and combines now the charm of the old with all modern amenities. Due to our location and proximity to the water we enjoy the best climate Barbados has to offer.
The houses have constantly been renovated and upgraded and Inchcape is recognized today as a unique and one of the most luxurious properties of such a kind in Barbados. Our beach is a beautiful and almost private beach, and has it all, from calm waters like on a pond to a small shore break at one end of the beach, which makes it the perfect beach paradise which again suits a broad range of holiday makers. Silver Sands Beach can be for everybody, from the sport enthusiast to the one who just wants to relax and enjoy the beautiful turquoises waters of this pristine white sand beach.
