Amplio aparcamiento. No Fumar. Atención: hay un río sin vallar a 20 metros del establecimiento. The Old Mill ofrece un relajante retiro en las afueras de Bampton y el Parque Nacional Exmoor. La cabaña está decorada y amueblada a un buen nivel y es ideal para familias, caminantes o amigos que se reúnen. Forma un ala de la casa del propietario y ofrece una escapada de todas las vacaciones con el uso de los bonitos jardines del propietario e incluso una librea para sus propios caballos por acuerdo. Con mucho que explorar en esta área, el lago Wimbleball para pescar y practicar deportes acuáticos, a menos de 4 millas. Un corto trayecto en coche lo llevará al Parque Nacional Exmoor, a Dunster y al Valle Exe. Tiverton y Exeter están a poca distancia. Huevos y frutas de corral del jardín del propietario disponibles en temporada. Tiendas y pubs 1⅓ millas.

Hasta un solo perro. Hay un río sin cercar a 20 yardas de esta propiedad.

The owner Simon was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was ideal as it was quiet yet only a short distance from a B road which gave access to the wonderful scenery of Exmoor. I would thoroughly recommend The Old Mill as a holiday retreat.

The Old Mill is perfect for a stay on the edge of Exmoor.

The Old Mill is perfect for a stay on the edge of Exmoor. The cottage was very clean, warm and comfortable and had everything we needed. We were met by Simon who shared with us the best places to eat and visit. The garden was picturesque and complete with a rushing mill stream. Bampton is close by and an interesting village with local shops. We can recommend Spelt a unique restaurant with a great menu. Dulverton has a lot to see and some good shops and restaurants.

We had a good time the cottag wasn't what we expected as I thought it was all on ground floor not having bedrooms upstairs and bathroom downstairs so not really suitable for disabled people especially if you need to keep to going downstairs to toilet at night, otherwise nice relaxing break.

A lovely cottage.

A lovely cottage. Great for a weekend away. Slept well. Bed comfy. Heating works well . Cooked a couple of meals with no problems. A small milk provided which was very kind. A basic television and some dvds which you can play . Good WiFi . The cottage is small down stairs which was great for us as a couple but you can sleep four people in the cottage which is fine but a family may fine it a little small . We went to visit a couple of national trust properties and had a lovely time .

The owner and his family couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. We had a lovely stay and were made very welcome. The Old Mill is central to the area we wanted to explore with Barnstable, Dunster, Tiverton, Minehead all within easy driving distance, through beautiful countryside. Local amenities gets an 8 as there was a short drive to Bampton to buy supplies, although we new this before we went and took most of the food we needed with us. We would recommend The Old Mill to friends & family. We had a great stay and will be going back in the not to distant future. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A perfect spot for exploring Devon, about a 45 minute drive to some great coastal towns. The hosts were fabulous, very friendly. The property was beautiful & well equipped. Shillingford has no amenities so you will need to drive to any shops or restaurants.

Beautiful location and we took our Grandchildren and the owners were very friendly and made the children feel at home . Nothing was to much trouble for them . Plus the grandchildren would go back again, we felt as if we had been there for ever
