Comfortable stay

The cottage was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The weather was cold, windy and wet when we were there and it took a while to get the cottage warm and cosy. Close to Lanhydrock and Bodmin Moor, Tintagel and Padstow not far away, so a nice place to have as a base for mid Cornwall

Cosy Barn Conversion

The property is an active farm. The barn conversion is clean and roomy, with great bathroom and bedroom downstairs and a sunny private deck. We were made very welcome when we arrived. The farm is central to most of Cornwall - highly recommended.

one of the best self catering i have stayed at on the outskirts of Bodmin for a Winter break this is an ideal please for touring Cornwall, for anyone wanting to set up base to sea fish or fishing in general i have one minor gripe No central heating in the property, but there are electric radiators and extra blow heaters There is a log burner that does kick out a lot of warmth, for the very cold nights, I will return later in the year

Steve and Katie made us feel so welcome.

Steve and Katie made us feel so welcome. The barn is just perfect for curling up on the sofa, in front of the wood burner with a glass of your favourite tipple. The sound of birds and the horses in the morning was a bonus. Access to Bodmin moor and the coast is easy in any direction. There is a great pub and the Camel trail just a ten minute walk. I would recommend the barn if you want to retreat and hunker down away from the hustle but be close enough to drive to amenities in twenty minutes. Perfect for couples. The Coach House is ideally located if you want to explore Cornwall as it is easy to travel north, so

The Coach House is ideally located if you want to explore Cornwall as it is easy to travel north, south, east and west from this central location. The cottage itself is very spacious and comfortable and all the fixtures and fittings are of a very high standard. The owner lives next door and is very helpful and approachable. I would highly recommend a stay at The Coach House, especially if you have a dog as it is very dog friendly. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A most beautiful cottage everything we needed tastefully decorated so cozy the owners very friendly and welcoming, we can’t wait to return the bed was comfortable and the bathroom just luxurious we really felt home from home

We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our holiday in this beautiful, cosy, well maintained and clean cottage. The farm - baby cows, chickens and horses were gorgeous and the owner/farmer was very kind in showing us the animals and being generally helpful. We will definitely be making a return trip to further explore stunning Cornwall and hopefully stay in the cottage again. Pictures on the website are very good but do not fully show the beauty of the cottage.

The cottage was lovely.

The cottage was lovely. Location excellent for exploring the area. Our only concern was the light carpet - dog and coming into the property from outside. Owners very pleasant and helpful. Would love to visit again.
