Una hermosa conversión de granero situada junto a la orilla del río con vistas tranquilas y hermosas características de época: el refugio perfecto para dos.


Anteriormente parte del molino de la aldea, esta conversión atmosférica de establos se encuentra a orillas del río Lowther, a la que se accede por una pista de 50 metros adosada a la casa de campo del propietario del siglo XVIII. Con vigas originales, vistas al río, pesca en el río al lado de la propiedad (se requiere licencia de pesca y permiso) y caminar desde la puerta, está idealmente ubicado dentro del Parque Nacional del Distrito de los Lagos. Windermere, Penrith y Ullswater están a poca distancia en automóvil. Un retiro de vacaciones perfecto. Tienda y pubs a 1km.

The cottage was beautiful and clean. Even though it sleeps 2, the accommodation was very spacious. The owners made us feel very welcome and Lottie our Airedale Terrier loved it so much she slept in more than us. The local people in Askham were very friendly and we highly recommend the Punchbowl Inn. The staff were accommodating and friendly. We will definitely come back to Mill Barn. A wonderful property full of charm, smashing location, and a well equipped kitchen for those of us who like to cook. A welcome break from the country of C-19 a bit of self isolation!

What an absolutely wonderful place. Aubrey & Diney could not have been better hosts and what a stunning location by the river. A great pub within 5 minutes walk serving delicious food and Lexie, our Old English Sheepdog was made most welcome. We will definitely be back.

A lovely warm and well appointed cottage in a beautiful location. It was lovely to hear the sound of the water rushing by just outside the windows. There are numerous local walks with stunning views from the cottage. The owners of the Mill are very friendly and helpful.
