A stunning house in a lovely location.The house is very clean and comfortable and absolutely anything anyone could need is provided! We loved the books and board games after some glorious walks. Everything was perfect.

Loved the area, beaches and scenery.

Loved the area, beaches and scenery. The old school was a lovely property, full of character whilst being very cosy. The open fire was very much enjoyed. The shower and bath need a refresh as does the grill and pans. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

The Old School House is lovely property very warm and cozy and set in beautiful location The only thing that we were disappointed with was the lack of kitchen items We had no kitchen hand towels no kitchen roll No kitchen foil/cling film A shortage of microwave cooking dishes Things like washing machine tablets were in very short supply and some of the pots and pans have seen better days Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

This is a lovely house in a spectacular location.

This is a lovely house in a spectacular location. 3 beautiful wild sandy beaches within walking distance, 2 only 15 minutes walk. The house itself is sensitively restored with a lot of love and charm, the schoolroom itself a fabulous, large room with windows on all four walls, giving beautiful views of the coastline. Perfect cottage to escape the ‘real world’. Amazing views from the beautiful lounge room and easy access to beaches. Super cosy with log/coal fire and very comfy bed! Kitchen has everything you need. Only marked down ‘local amenities’ because you shouldn’t actually expect any unless you count beautiful beaches and unspoilt views! Fab sunrises and sunsets! Deer grazing outside the front window and it’s oh so quiet! Bliss!!

Stayed for a week, the cottage had everything you would ever need while staying.

Stayed for a week, the cottage had everything you would ever need while staying. The sitting room is huge, the pictures do not do it justice/show how big it really is. The master bedroom is again really big with super king size bed. The 3 beaches that are on the coast in front of the cottage ( all with in walking distance ) are absolutely stunning, Oldshoremore beach, 10 minute walk away is not to be missed. If you are looking for a holiday that is in a remote location with fantastic beaches on your door step, I highly recommend this cottage. (Just be aware it is remote, there is a decent spar a couple of miles away, but that is it. Do what we did and GET ALL YOUR SHOPPING from either Ullapool or Inverness on the way)

Excellent.

Excellent. We loved the new kitchen and living room sofas since the last visit. It is such a special house in the midst of the scenic location in the UK. In all weather (except for the 40mph winds) the coast, beach and mountain walks cannot be beat. Local services are thin, but then again that's exactly why you want to go to this part of Scotland. Shhh, don't tell anyone. We don't want to spoil it. Please tell the world that it is a midge infested land of bogs and rain!

In a rural part of Scotland you will find a stunning place, overlooking the loch. Ancient days are here transformed into a very comfortable house, where you will not be able to mention a thing missing. Very friendly and helpful owners, with all the information you need in advance before you leave.

ALWAYS COSY EVEN DURING THE WORST OF SCOTTISH SCOTTISH WEATHER. BOTH THE DOGS AND US LOVED THE BEACHES AND COASTLINES WE WALKED. NOT A MIDGIE IN SIGHT (TOO WINDY). INTERESTING VIEWS OF HANDA AND VERY PEACEFUL. ALSO THE GARDEN IS DOG PROOF (UNLESS THE ANIMAL IS A KNOWN ESCAPE ARTIST). THE HOB IS LIKE MANY I HAVE SEEN IN HOLIDAY LETS, THERE IS NO DOUBT THAT IT IS IN CHARGE. NEVER TURN YOUR BACK ON IT.

Lovely cottage 10 min walk from either Oldshoremore or Polin beaches which are both beautiful.

Lovely cottage 10 min walk from either Oldshoremore or Polin beaches which are both beautiful. Kitchen is well equipped and the drawing room simply makes the house with its size and positioning of the sofas. Morning coffee overlooking the sea and evening wine in front of the fire !

Excellent cottage - couldn't ask for anything more.

Excellent cottage - couldn't ask for anything more. There was everything in the property for a relaxing holiday. It was lovely and clean and very comfortable. The local area was amazing with the most stunning views from the actual property. Our holiday was thoroughly enjoyed and the property counted a lot towards it.
