The Gallery is beautiful.

The Gallery is beautiful. In a stunning location, looking out to sea. The bed and sofas are very comfy, the kitchen was very well equipped, its a lovely place to come back to and relax at the end of the day. Gail was very helpful and informative regarding places to eat and visit and came and helped if we needed her. Thankyou.

Wow, what a fantastic place to stay.

Wow, what a fantastic place to stay. Great location, brilliant views, spotlessly clean and the owners, Gail and Kim, were so welcoming and friendly. The cream tea on arrival was an added bonus. The information they sent to us, prior to our arrival, was very useful and it helped us plan our week’s stay. The Gallery is very comfortable, warm and cosy, the wood burner is easy to use and the bed is just luxurious. It had everything you’d need for a great holiday. It’s an ideal spot for coastal walks, visiting Mevagissey, Lost Gardens of Heligan and lots of other places of interest. Yes, there are a few steps up to the deck of the property but it’s a great place to sit and look out to sea, after a good day’s walking. Thank you for letting us stay at your wonderful property.

Wonderful house with amazing view

We had very nice holidays at The Gallery. The view from the kitchen is outstanding amazing. Our hosts Gail and Kim are very friendly and always had a great tour proposal in mind. The Gallery was very clean with good Equipment. We can really recommend this lovely cottage.

We have spent a week at the gallery for our first time holiday together instead Turkey because of quarantine which isn’t worth to go aboard when we arrived the gallery we fall in love the place with a seaview give you feel stress free and peaceful from home and pandemic, all rooms is spotless and comfortable feel yourself a home what you do, we went to st Austell, Charlestown, Falmouth, st Ives, padstow,lizard point, Jamaica inn, tintagel castle and looe also walking to mevagissey it’s a lush village! We had a wonderful holiday and Michael is lovely respectable man and give us scones with jam and cream so yummy! We look forward go back to the gallery in February! Fabulous location, unfortunate the garden was not fully enclosed to keep our dog safe. Arrival 5pm departure by 9am, plus asked to remove the bedding, we always hoover before leaving, I think you're asking guests to do more with less time to do it in, it is a holiday after all! All oven shelves were covered in tin foil restricting heat flow when cooking. The microwave was in a cupboard underneath the oven, not very ergonomic. The hammock was rotten and unsafe, the decking was slippery & the towel rail failed to heat. Sent rules before and prior to departure, we are adults not children and checked before leaving, the first time in over 30 years having 3 holidays a year! We found some lovely cliff walks and strolled into Mevagissey several times. It was nice to see Michael again and the cream tea went down a treat! Michael & Fitz were excellent hosts and the accommodation is beyond amazing. The property was very clean & had everything that you could possibly need. The views are amazing ( despite the climb up that hill ) very worth it once you reach the property. Mevagissey is lovely and the cottage is well placed for touring Cornwall ( despite the very narrow roads ) Beautiful beaches and walks within easy reach. We could not believe how much space there was available, and the pictures do not do the view justice. The owners are fantastic, on hand to meet us with a cream tea, and there to say goodbye at the end of the holiday. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend The Gallery to anybody (just as long as you don't have a problem walking or negotiating steps). Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

We had a lovely holiday.

We had a lovely holiday. The Gallery provides extremely comfortable and spacious accommodation. It is stylishly decorated, well equipped and has unbelievably outstanding sea views which change daily and that adds to the attraction. It is located near to the coastal path which provides lots of scenic walks and Mevagissey is accessible by foot. It also provides good access to the Roseland Peninsula and Falmouth in one direction, and to St Austell and Fowey in the other. We would recommend this accommodation, and this is reflected in the fact that this was our third visit.

The views are outstanding and the property is equipped with everything you could need. The owners are so friendly and ensure you have a great time. This was our second visit to The Gallery and again it did not disappoint. Michael was an excellent host and the cream tea went down a treat! There is everything you need and the view is breathtaking. We will definitely return and would definitely recommend it but you do need to book early.
