The Beach Retreat is a snug converted garden summer house in beautiful shared grounds. It is located right on the coastal path a short downhill walk into St Ives one way and Carbis Bay the other. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. We took our dog and the fenced deck area meant we could relax knowing he couldn’t escape. The location was perfect for us with lots of lovely walks right on the doorstep.

Fantastic location 👍Sea both sides The retreat was well equipped and snug There was construction taking place right behind us but the noise was limited and we were out most of the day We had a good holiday and our Dachshund had a blast

Excellent location! Walking distance to St. Ives and Carbis Bay, as well as very close to a Tesco Superstore and an amazing pub (Cornish Arms).Lovely shady accommodation, with access to owner's extensive grounds.The cottage, slightly dated, suited the two of us and our dog, could be described it as bijou or quirky, but we loved it and would definitely return.

I had a lovely stay at the Beach Retreat in Carbis Bay. Everything you need and nice and cozy. Brian was very helpful from the start. We had a fantastic two weeks in Beach Retreat - despite Covid 19. Brian's meticulous attention to detail meant that we felt very safe staying there and could relax into the holiday. The location was perfect with immediate access to the coastal path and a short walk to the beaches meant we could keep away from the crowds. It was a splendid Retreat. Nice and quiet with use of the large garden.

Nice and quiet with use of the large garden. Views over Carbis bay stunning. Nice coastal walks. Good for dogs. Dynamite quay beach is dog friendly all year. Becks fish and chip shop is close by and very good. Tesco is just up the road which is handy. Would not recommend the Cornish Arms pub, found the food and service not very good. We had a lovely week at the beach retreat. It’s a small but cosy place with everything we needed for our week.
