Romántica cabaña de 100 años de antigüedad, completamente actualizada en una granja de caballos rural

Escapada romántica ubicada en una granja de caballos en funcionamiento a solo 20 minutos de Durango. Esta es la casa de campo original de 100 años que ha sido completamente renovada. Nuestra casa tiene una hermosa vista de las montañas y el campo. Sin embargo, todavía está cerca de la ciudad y las comodidades. Sabemos que disfrutará de la hospitalidad, las vistas increíbles y la relajación total del entorno rural tranquilo con estrellas brillantes y el sol radiante.
Cottage tiene una hermosa cocina actualizada completa con ollas y sartenes, platos y todo lo necesario para cocinar, excepto comida. Televisor de pantalla plana con reproductor de DVD en caso de mal tiempo. Lavadora secadora. Bonito baño con ducha de cristal. Cama muy cómoda con buena ropa de cama. Hay un aire acondicionado ubicado en el dormitorio, por si acaso. Tenemos una bonita terraza en la parte trasera con barbacoa completa con mesa y sillas.

We had a great time and the area was beautiful. The only two things that we were not impressed with were the very slow WiFi—ended up using my personal hotspot most of the time. Additionally, although it was not an issue while we were there, as it didn’t rain or snow, the gate was a manual gate that required you to exit the car, open it, pull through, then exit and close. Additionally, they could put some lighting on the road and gate to make it easier to find at night.

Immaculate cottage in a very easy to find location. It was so nice to relax and stretch out in a home. Everything we wanted to experience was very convenient for us. Loved a comfortable bed and having a washer/dryer available. I don’t think we could have asked for more or for better hosts. We even got to enjoy them and the honey from their ranch.

It's a peaceful and quiet ranch cottage. Loved it!! Close enough to Durango to do all of our adventures. And then to come back and relax with views. We definitely will stay here again.

Super cute farmhouse!

This was the perfect break for us, as we had been on the road for 8 days at this point, for our 30th anniversay trip. We stayed 3 nights and can not express how nice it was. The owners did a good job of doing modern remodeling, but leaving the old charm by adding the old furniture, dishes, etc. and they were SUPER nice people with a lovely farm.

Home away from home

We had a wonderful time. Spacious rooms and all needed amenities were available. We spent most of our time exploring the area but we’re very comfortable with our accommodations.

Pretty much just what we were looking for and thought we was getting. Close enough to Durango to go there in a short time and close to many sights. Then when we came back it was a nice quiet environment to relax in.

Just what we needed

My husband and I needed some time away from the hustle and heat of Phoenix and this was just perfect. We had easy access to Everything we wanted to do. Relaxation was drinking wine outside taking in the beautiful view! Kristine helped us through our first reservation using vrbo. What else could anyone as for . we will definitely return

Awesome place!

It was beautiful, clean, very private to the point we didn’t feel the need to lock our car doors or the cabin doors, and the owners were attentive as needed. There were truly no negatives.

Oct 3-6 Hind Show Horse farm stay

My wife and I had great time, visiting the Durango and Silverton area. Mr. Hind recommended a great day trip to view the Fall foilage. The accommodations were nice, and we got to view the horses, etc. The setting was neat, nice views of farmland and with the mountains in the distance.

Great cottage in the Country!

We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage on Hinds Horse Farm outside Durango. It had everything we needed (after a jeep tour one day and a train ride the next day) it was so nice to stay in a place away from the busy hubbub of downtown Durango. Beautiful scenery surrounded the cottage. Awesome!

The perfect location to unwind

Kristie’s property was just what we needed. Nice location away from traffic, but close enough to all the attractions in the Durango area. It can get warm in the day, but the bedroom has a window unit that keeps you nice and cool through the evening. There is very little humidity there so open the windows at night and the house cools nicely. If we are ever in the area again, I would not hesitate to book the house. Very nice owners. Miss it already.

Great home away from home

This was the perfect location for a "home base" during our visit to Colorado. There was plenty of space to park our vehicle and motorcycle. The cottage was very well equipped. We loved meeting our hosts and so appreciated their suggestions about additional places and things we could see and do during our stay. The beauty all around the property and the serene atmosphere enhanced our time at the cottage and were enjoyed as much as any of the sights we came to Colorado to see! We definitely hope to be back!

Our stay was perfect. The location was just far enough out of town to enjoy some peace. The cabin was clean and perfect for us. The hosts were so helpful and kind. They even brought me horse treats when they seen me trying to pet the horses! Buy the honey. Just do it lol.

Perfect peaceful getaway near Durango

We had a wonderful, albeit much too short ,stay at this darling rural cottage near Durango. Kristi gave us a helpful tour of the house and left some of her delicious honey in the kitchen. The cottage was very nicely upgraded by the owners and had everything we needed from kitchen supplies and spices, comfy comforter, plenty of living room seating, beautiful views, and horses and donkeys. We also saw a skunk, fox, and mule deer. Such a delightful country stay conveniently near Durango, the Southern Ute casino, and Mesa Verde. We will definitely stay there again when we are in the area visiting family!

Our property is very quiet and relaxing . Our cottage is very nicely decorated . It's out of the hustle and bustle of town but close enough that you can enjoy the amenities that Durango has to offer. We are centrally located for enjoying the hot springs in pagosa or riding the train in durango.

Our cottage is unique because it's on a working horse farm. We r professional horseman and have been showing quarter horses since 1985. Our farm now includes Rescue donkeys and honeybees.
