La propiedad ha sido recientemente renovada exclusivamente para alquiler vacacional, hay una sala de estar que es bastante pequeña pero acogedora, comedor trasero con capacidad para ocho personas alrededor de la mesa y la cocina, 4 habitaciones con 2 cunas de viaje adicionales. Al estar situado en las afueras de la ciudad, alejado de la carretera principal, una tienda de Morrisons se encuentra enfrente, a la izquierda de esta se encuentra la galería de arte que también contiene un cine. Castillo de Caernarfon, ferrocarril de las montañas de Gales, centro de la ciudad a pocos pasos. Las cordilleras de Snowdon o Carneddau están cerca, el centro de actividades al aire libre Plas Menai y más. Las camas constan de 2 camas King size de hierro forjado en la habitación delantera más grande, literas en la habitación trasera en el primer piso y una cama doble en la habitación trasera en el piso superior. toda la ropa es de calidad hotelera y muchos comentan lo cómodas que son las camas, algo que creemos que es muy importante cuando vas a alojarte en algún lugar. Hay una televisión inteligente en la sala de estar y se puede utilizar para Netflix, etc. en la televisión, aunque tendría que usar su propia suscripción para estos. el alquiler es para toda la casa, aunque una vez que las ráfagas elijan sus camas, le pediríamos que se quedara con ellas, ya que habría un cargo (£ 15 por noche de la estadía) por las camas adicionales utilizadas, como comprenderá, cualquier cama adicional utilizada significaría una limpieza total de aspiración y lavandería para las habitaciones, ya que la casa se mantiene limpia y prístina como sea posible para los próximos huéspedes. No hay fiestas o mascotas lo siento.

Las barras de seguridad se instalan en las ventanas inferiores de las habitaciones traseras y las cerraduras de seguridad en todas las ventanas de arriba para evitar que se abran por completo, hay una llave en el lado derecho de cada ventana detrás de la cortina fuera del alcance de los niños pequeños.

The house is in the perfect location close to all amenities and central to the places we set out to visit and is kept beautifully. The hosts were a pleasure to communicate with. One of our party left an item at the house and Rod posted it back to us within a couple of days without charge.... now that's going the extra mile.

What a wonderful location for walking to the castle and town. Many restaurants available and close. Grocery walking distance also. The four bedroom unit was very spacious. Excellent value for the rental price

We loved the how traditional the unit is. Very cozy. While small ,it met all our need except there was no laundry in the unit. The laundry is across the street at Morrisons. A big was the host communicated with us very promptly and cleary. Thank Rod. Cheers.

Lovely stay

We had a lovely time, everything we needed was there and we enjoyed a few nice days as a family. The lounge was a little small for film nights with teenage kids but frequent rotation of the use of the bean bag did the job 😊. We would be happy to come back!

Nice stay in Caernarfon

Aunty Mary's is an older property that is well located & full of charm. We enjoyed our stay, though the fridge is very small for the number of beds (4 of the 6 used in our case), the stairs are steep (we suspect that's typical of local terrace houses of the era) & the shower is a hand-held device that is awkward to use. If you can live with the shower, we'd recommend it. The hosts were very welcoming & have agreed to mail back an item of jewelry we unfortunately left behind, which was very kind of them.

A comfortable and convenient base to explore the area

Overall we had a really positive experience. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the town centre and supermarkets.The area is generally quiet, aside from traffic noise during the morning commute, but this was only an issue in the front bedrooms. Check-in was smooth, there was good communication with the host beforehand and thoughtful touches like a welcome gift plus milk and biscuits were much appreciated.The property was clean, there was a good supply of towels and basic toiletries were provided in the bathroom. The kitchen had store cupboard basics and was well-equipped for preparing meals. There were information leaflets for local attractions to help plan days out. The beds were very comfy and there was adequate drawer storage.However, there were a few drawbacks. The kitchen had an awkward layout and we had trouble reaching one of the cupboards. The WiFi was intermittent and the overall signal strength poor. Using the hand-held shower was an ordeal, being very tricky to manage especially when hairwashing, and we also had problems flushing the toilet which also took a long time to refill. There were hooks on the bedroom doors but no wardrobes, so nowhere to hang up clothes. The bunk bed room also lacked a bedside lamp which would have been useful.Despite these few issues, the positives far outway the negatives and we'd both recommend the place and return for another visit. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Lovely and convenient

Friendly, helpful and communicative hosts, Erica and Rod also left such a warm welcome package! A lot of thought went into the decorating of the house which gives it a very quaint and authentic feel. Everything was great but the beds are an absolute dream!

Excellent hosts, Comfortable place to stay

Pleasant place to stay with a real feel for the Edwardian era. The beds were so comfy, it was hard to get up. Excellent location for exploring the town, visiting the superb Caernarfon Castle, Zipworld and The Great Orme. Excellent hosts, very friendly and helpful before the visit and left a much appreciated welcome pack.

Great Location

It's very conveniently located. Parking is available on the road outside. Walking distance from the castle and great location for Snowdonia attractions and everything else. Highly recommended. Very clean and well decorated.

WHAT A GEM

Everything about the house was fantastic, from cleanliness, comfort & location of the property through to the prompt replies to any query we had. The tea/coffee and fresh milk with the biccies on arrival were especially appreciated. Oh how I would love to own this house, so olde world in keeping with its age , keeping so many of the original features but yet updating it enough for 2021. Having the castle a mere 10 minute stroll was wonderful, the views of the Menai Strait at sunset from the bedroom windows was breathtaking. Although we had pre-booked a delivery from Asda, Morrisons was straight across the road had we forgotten anything. An absolutely wonderful, comfortable stay

Such a gorgeous property and amazing for the money! Lovely location just across from the harbour and Morrison’s! The hosts were friendly and communicative and were eager to help if needed. August Bank Holiday to North Wales

The property was exceptionally clean, which is reassuring in these unusual times. The facilities offered were ideal, even the adjacent take away was handy for the evening we arrived. It is centrally located, from where we could easily travel to our chosen destinations. We would certainly use HomeAway again, should such an arrangement suit any future requirements.

Charming Welsh Rental

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. The hosts made us feel welcome with tea, milk and biscuits waiting in the kitchen. They promptly replied to all of our requests and were quite gracious. The house was very clean and near the center of town and across from a grocery store. It was the perfect home base for us as we explored North Wales and climbed Mount Snowden.

This property has been in the family for five generations but unfortunately was empty for 12 years. We renovated it ourselves during 2017 doing all the work, apart from the plumbing ourselves and while doing so, trying to keep the original charm of the house with a traditional look but with a few mod con's including wi-fi, smart tv etc. A number of the old portraits in the house are of family members.

The benefits of the property is it's location in regards to a multitude of tourist attractions, Zip world, welsh mountain railway, the castle where the investiture of Prince Charles was performed. within 5 minutes of Morrison's / Asda for your needs, 5 mins to the castle and of course Snowdon which is approximately 10-15 minutes by car. Many good cafe's restaurants and public houses close by including the very popular Black Boy in. That is just a few of the attractions in the area or within half an hour, there are just too many to mention, lots of brochures for local attractions in the the house.
