Fantastic location - perfect Southern vacation.

If we stay in MB again, it will be at the Myrtle Beach Resort. So easy to get everything needed, and very easy to travel to golf courses, restaurants, and stores. Can't beat the safety and location! Ocean is within a few hundred feet with all anyone could want for great walks and spectacular views! Clean and well kept units with anything that could be needed for a southern trip.

Great Stay

We enjoyed our time staying on this property. It was a short walk to the beach and there were multiple different pools to visit. We had an issue with the actual building maintenance people. Once I spoke with the rental property manager, it was handled quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

Weekend stay

Overall listed expectations were met. The location, well the beach was nice. But the rowdiness of the people in this area once the sun went down was annoying. Screaming, yelling, and cars alarms (Same car) kept going off. Walmart was across the street and good restaurants within a two mile radius.

Great week!

We really enjoyed our week in Myrtle Beach. The condo was clean and comfortable. The kitchen has just about anything you'd need to cook a meal. Comfortable beds, I slept so well all week. It's very convenient to have laundry facilities right down the hallway. I would recommend this unit 100%. We have a new appreciation for the location of the Myrtle Beach Resort after a few trips up town. It's much quieter, and seems a much safer area than North Myrtle.

Property manager was rude and unprofessional. Unit was so outdated, extra blankets in closet smelled and we couldn't use them. No extra anything like beach chairs, toys etc like all the private owners have. WILL NOT EVER STAY IN THIS UNIT OR ANY UNIT THE MYRTLE BEACH MANAGEMENT COMPANY MANAGES. myrtle Beach resort is nice.

You saw pictures of the unit when you booked. The unit has many upgrades. If you're going to accuse the manager of being rude, you should probably also include the fact that you showed up to the property, without permission, and accosted our housekeeper about when the condo would be ready. This was before 9 AM. Check in is 3 PM! Yes, we were not happy with you.

The location of the resort and its amenities is what sold me on the rental. We did have a very bad experience while staying at the resort, the fire alarm went off at 3am waking everyone up...there was no fire so I am assuming someone pulled it. I have small children that were awoken and scared. We all had a hard time going back to bed after the incident.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The smell of the room is very off putting and the furniture reminds me of being at camp. I wouldn't stay here again because of the smell. It was so powerful we went and bought candles and air freshener and it still smelled horrible.

Thank you for the review. We'll pass along your comments about the furniture to the owner. Never had a complaint about the smell of this condo. Because it doesn't smell horrible. UPDATE: There have been three guests since you left (and many more before you arrived), none have complained about a "horrible smell." Puzzling.

Nice place. Only a couple of concerns. I had to fix toilet seat when I got there. If place was cleaned when we arrived....??? Reported curtain rod broken and texted management. Said that they would come and fix it but no one ever did come.... Wife says she wants to purchase the property if it ever becomes available. The manager was very, very nice. Be back next year!

Another Enjoyable Stay at Myrtle Beach Resort

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I've been coming to Myrtle Beach Resort for over twenty years and my family has always rented through Myrtle Beach Management. This was our first time visiting in four years and we were glad to return. This condo is well-maintained including good furniture and amenities, and what looked to be newer carpet in the bedrooms. The TV in the living room is a Roku so we were able to stream movies/shows from apps, which was a nice perk. We thoroughly enjoy staying at Myrtle Beach Resort, being able to walk out to the beach from the condo and enjoying the splash pad/lazy river and beachfront pool. Work is still being performed on the Renaissance Tower but it did not interfere with our stay. Myrtle Beach Management provided great service, sending us our check-in codes via text message before arrival. They also texted us to make sure everything was going well and are available if something isn't right. We look forward to coming back.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 3rd year staying in the same unit. It was just OK this year. Maybe we are just noticing more things. The unitbis getting a little tired looking. Last year during our stay, we were contacted when we were away from the unit one evening and advised one of the toilets was leaking into the unit below. I believe repairs were made. This year we noticed the very first day that same toilet was not securely attached and rocked if you leaned to one side. You could visibly see the shims between the base of the toilet and the flooring. The exact same way it was a year ago when we stayed in that unit. I find it hard to believe more permanent repairs weren't made. We were told the toilet was leaking and had been replaced. Not too sure about that.As far as recommending this property, maybe at one time I would have without reservation but not so sure now. We might look at some other properties for our annual trip June 2024. Thank you.
