Gran base para explorar el Parque Nacional de Yosemite y la fiebre del oro pintoresca ciudad de Mariposa y el sur de Sierra Nevada .. Kathy and John were lovely hosts. The apartment is perfect for longer stays. Fully equipt kitchen. Very comfortable bed. Large shower. Nice deck with chairs. Main living area was relaxing and had lots of interesting art and decor. Outside seating was perfectly relaxing.We will book this apartment again in the future.

Wonderful stay with the best hosts!

We had the best 5 night stay at this perfect VRBO rental. It was a manageable distance to get back and forth from Yosemite National Park, especially to get away from the crowds. We were so happy to come back to a clean, relaxing environment after long hiking days in the park. The property is gorgeous. I would spend my evenings sitting outside on the porch in peace in the beautiful country setting. The bed was really comfortable as well. John and Kathy, the hosts, were absolutely amazing! They treated us like family, making sure we had everything we needed. They gave us easy directions to get to the park and to downtown Mariposa and offered so many excellent restaurant suggestions in the area. We had everything we needed to make our own meals most of the days as well.Yosemite Bug and 1850 restaurants were excellent! Thank you for the suggestions! :) We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful, clean, relaxing country setting in a good location.

Close to Yosemite

We booked this place for it's proximity to Yosemite, it was much more cost effective than staying in the park, but gave us more space than a hotel room. The owners, John and Kathy live on site in a house, while this is an apartment above a detached garage. They are extremely accommodating and friendly! Gave us lots of good tips on the park and local restaurants. loaned us a cooler and ice pack to use in the park too! John even moved my laundry from the washer to the dryer while we were out to dinner! The apartment laundry area is in his detached garage.

Wonderful

John and Kathy were awesome. They were so helpful and knowledgeable about the local restaurants and places to see in Yosemite. We will definitely stay there again when we’re in the area.

Comfortable place close to Yosemeti.

My sister and I enjoyed our stay at the Barn Loft. The loft is very comfortable, pleasant and all-around great! Enjoyed sitting on the deck after spending the days hiking at Yosemite. Kathy and John are great hosts and so much fun to visit. They took an interest in how we were enjoying our trip and had great suggestions. Highly recommend staying here.

Acquaint, beautiful wonderful experience

My wife and I had such a remarkable experience staying with John and Cathy. Not only was our place, beautiful, clean, and secluded, they were wonderful hosts and very attentive to anything that we might need. They gave us Informed guidance and support about visiting Yosemite, traveling to nearby restaurants or grocery stores. We absolutely love and appreciate John and Cathy and our time that we spent there.

Peace & Tranquility Yosemite

Kathy and John are the perfect host with this adorable loft furnished with all your needs. Super clean and comfy About an hour outside the Yosemite NP We enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck As we planned our hikes for the day. We would highly recommend staying at the loft.

Comfortable and Relaxing Stay

The barn loft provided us with a perfect location to attend a family wedding and to explore Yosemite Park. The loft was spotless and so very comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied with an abundance of cookware and dishes.The bathroom was spacious and the bedroom was extremely comfortable with plenty of storage space for both our formal wear and hiking gear. After long days in the Yosemite - the loft was a comfortable respite from the hustle and bustle of the park. We often spent early mornings and evenings on the loft deck just enjoying the quiet and countryside. Our hosts were extremely knowledgeable about the park and surrounding area and provided us with a wealth of information in regard to the park, restaurants,and shopping. This was our first visit to this part of California and Kathy and John provided us with a comfortable and memorable visit.

Perfect launching pad

The loft was the perfect launching pad for my wife and I to explore not only Yosemite, but also King's Canyon & Sequoia. It was the perfect size for a couple, everything was impeccably clean and comfortable, and John and Kathy were attentive and responsive. Highly recommend!

Spotless, well-stocked, wonderful hosts!

Perfect Stay

Immaculate property, well-equipped kitchen had everything we needed, gracious hosts, recommendations for excellent restaurants, directions on efficiently getting to and from Yosemite. Highly recommend and would absolutely return for a future visit to the area.

Lovely Stay

Kathy was great with prompt communication and John helped us with check-in and Yosemite and Mariposa suggestions. The apartment was well set-up and comfortable, specially the kitchen and all the amenities. (They provided an air fryer!) We were able to easily prep for early departures to Yosemite (about an hour to the North Entrance and Mariposa Grove). Thank you John and Kathy!

A great retreat

We stayed in this lovely apartment above a barn to have a place to retreat to in between trips into Yosemite. It totally fit the bill for us. A wonderful place and a wonderful experience.

Home away from home

The best stop of my entire trip. The place was truly like a home away from home, especially the kitchen. Loved the rural vibe and proximity to Yosemite. The hosts were very welcoming and the property has resident hummingbirds which always entertain. I hope to return sooner than later!

Perfect Rural Yosemite Retreat

We booked 5 nights at the Barn Loft Apartment and in less than 24 hours it felt like a home away; well furnished & supplied with everything we needed. John was a great host who has obviously never met a stranger. He is a wonderful story teller and full of local information. He greeted us each evening as we returned from the park, just to ask how our day went. Great vacation retreat!

Wonderful Stay

The apartment offered us everything we wanted - it was clean, comfortable, and offered all modern amenities. The location gave us privacy and quiet, which we wanted on our get away. Grocery stores and restaurants were about a 20 minute drive. We had come to explore Yosemite, which was about a 50 minute drive. The hosts, Katherine and John, are very welcoming and accommodating. They know the area well and can give good recommendations on places to visit. Highly recommend for a relaxing, enjoyable retreat.

Beautiful , Comfortable and Private apartment rental in close proximity to Yosemite N.P

My husband and I spent 7 nights in this modern apartment rental in the town of Marisposa while visiting Yosemite N.P. We could not have picked a more comfortable and convenient location for our visit. The accommodations were all what we expected and more. Everything on the VRBO site is perfectly described and pictured. Plus the hosts are very friendly and close by on the property for any desired assistance. Would recommend this rental highly when visiting the area.

Best rental ever.

This was the best quipped rental we have ever experienced. Everything was very high quality and the kitchen was excellent for cooking up a meal after a long hike in Yosemite. And to top it all Kathy and John were amazing hosts, so kind and welcoming. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you again Kathy and John, you made our holiday perfect.
