Nuestro lugar está a solo 10 minutos de Kerrville, a 5 minutos de Comfort ya 30 minutos de Hunt y Fredericksburg. Estamos ubicados en el corazón del país de la colina con agua en vivo en dos lados de la propiedad. Te encantará nuestra casa, ya que tiene 10 acres ubicado en el 600 'de frente de río Guadalupe. Nuestra casa prefabricada tiene 4 dormitorios y 2 baños con un porche grande, pabellón para fiestas con bañera de hidromasaje, chimenea al aire libre (completamente equipada con madera) con asientos fantásticos para sofá, mesa de billar, ahumador, parrilla y comedor al aire libre para 12 personas. La propiedad también se ha configurado para herraduras y arandelas para su disfrute.
El carrito de golf está incluido con la propiedad.

Wonderful host and home

We went for my sisters wedding and this location was the perfect spot to escape the city, enjoy time with friends, and get some outdoor time! The host was wonderful and home was fully stocked with what we needed.

Lovely Creek and River

We enjoyed our visit to the Hill Country. My grandson especially loved everything: the pool table, the hot tub, the opportunity to explore, the deer. Laura, our host, was terrific in answering questions and meeting our needs. This is a lovely place which we recommend highly.

Great River House

We rented this house because my husband's band was playing in the area. The house was easy to locate and furnished nicely. We had everything we needed. The beds were super comfy and so was the furniture. We loved sitting on the porch and rocking. We grilled with the provided grill and had a great time. We had a few problems but the owner was quick to respond. Although the water was low we still had a great time. We will return again.

So much to do!

The house was very clean and full of accommodations from bath towels to indoor/outdoor games to any kind of cooking appliance (grills, smoker, full kitchen, toaster, coffee maker, etc.) you could need. Laura and Will were very helpful in providing information about the property and its surroundings. Our group had every age range from a 1 yr old to adults and everyone had a blast!

River Hollow Retreat Review

My husband and I were fortunate enough to book a stay at River Hollow Retreat and it was nothing short of phenomenal! The property was absolutely gorgeous. We sat on the porch for several hours daily while viewing the local wildlife and enjoying the beautiful scenery. The river access was convenient and breathtaking. From floating the river, to fishing, to watching deer...this trip was just what we needed to rest, refresh and reenergize. The hosts were welcoming and responsive to any questions we had. They couldn't have been more accomodating. We can't wait to return.

Very relaxing

We enjoyed our stay very much. The views and house were just as advertised. We spent most of our time on the porch enjoying the wildflowers, birds and deer.

Lots of wildlife

We really enjoyed the stay and loved watching the deer come through in the morning and evening. Also saw a porcupine which was really cool. We loved the outdoor area with a the fireplace and pool table. We spent a lot of time out there!

The pictures do not show the whole story

the pictures show a full river front and the descriptions states live water 2 sides of property. 1 week before check in I get a email that tells us to bring chairs and floats river is low. I reply and ask how low she said actually no water at all. The only reason we rent riverfront property is to have private access. We had no water and the few puddles that were there was algae filled I would not even let my dog in it let alone my grandkids. And the AC was not working it would not cool the house down so the one night we stayed we were miserable But in the end she did issue a refund since we left after one day.

Amazing Weekend

Had a blast. Even though the water was a little low, we were able to tube and fish. The acomidations were really nice with lots of amenities: oversized master bathroom tub, pool table, hot tub, games, etc. Recommending to all my friends.

Stay-cation

This location lends itself to the perfect "stay-cation" - we NEVER left!!! We enjoyed this property right up until check-out! The outdoor Pavilion, as well as the proximity of the River, were perfect! The golf cart is such a thoughtful touch for carrying items to and from the river... Our family enjoyed everything this property had to offer! We had a Teen and Pre-Teen who's gaming devices never even got unpacked! They played pool, corn hole and enjoyed the property and river just as they should've! We adults even played games and relaxed .... not to mention the absolute relaxation of the perfectly positioned Jacuzzi!!!! OMG!!! We enjoyed sitting by the outdoor fireplace, every single night!!! S'mores never tasted so good!!! Laura's husband, Willie was available and was there to greet us when we arrived and to wish us well as we left. Super cool dude! Thanks, Laura and Willie, for allowing our family to enjoy your little piece of Heaven on the River!!! We loved our stay! Hope to be back!

Motorcycle trip

We rode our motorcycle down with 2 other couples. House had the best beds! The river was low but still gorgeous! The trees were awesome and watching the deer feed from the front porch was a nice touch to the end of each day! Will definitely be back

Family Get-away

Our family (6 adults) gathered for a couple of days to celebrate my birthday. The property and its amenities were just perfect for us! We loved exploring along the river. The outdoor fireplace and pavilion were perfect for grilling and dining, roasting marshmallows, sharing family rememberances, playing games.... The house was very comfortable, clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. The proximity to Comfort, Kerrville and Camp Verde made it easy to visit those locations as well.

Fun and peaceful girls getaway

Wow! What a great property. We really enjoyed the amenities and loved the layout of the property. We used the golf cart to take a picnic lunch down to the river...and what a great, peaceful view. We also enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor pavillion. We used the outdoor fireplace for the cool evenings and cooked dinner on the grill. Really great setup. And the host answered all questions within minutes as our arrival date approached. We loved our girls weekend here!

Family Weekend

Great family weekend. Plenty to do at the property. Guys had a great time playing pool and everyone loved playing bags (cornhole). There was a hot tub, but unfortunately we did not have enough time to take advantage of using it. Nice property to walk in the morning.

Relaxing Stay

Comfortable house in a great location. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed. Easy access to the river but it was very low due to the drought. Thankfully the outdoor pool table and corn hole kept us occupied. We really enjoyed the porch and watching the birds and the deer. It was a short drive to Kerrville and Fredericksburg is only 30 minutes away. Laura provided a lot of good information for the area and always responded quickly. Hope we get the chance to return sometime when we have had more rain and the river is a little deeper.

Amazing property!

This property was absolutely amazing. From the front porch with plenty of seating to watch the deer, sunrises, and sunsets to the pavillion with all the amenities you need to have a fantastic family vacation. I am so glad they provided the golf cart to go back and forth to the river. Although the water was low it was still great and relaxing. The kids loved it. Laura was a great host and very attentive to our stay. Definitely will be coming back.

50th anniversary

We went to celebrate my wife’s parents 50th anniversary and we had a great time. We were able to cook a great meal using everything provided by the host. The check in and out process was very easy. The deer show up when the sun set and rises. Awesome atmosphere.
