El apartamento "Il Forno", en total de unos 135 metros cuadrados, se encuentra en dos pisos, primer piso y planta baja, que se pueden alquilar juntos o por separado, ambos pisos tienen entradas independientes y cada uno tiene acceso al jardín.
A continuación se describe sólo el "Il Forno - planta baja", aproximadamente 60 metros cuadrados, para 2/4 personas.
Esta parte del apartamento es de reciente creación (abril de 2015) y ha sido creada con acabados y soluciones de alta calidad. Consta de una cocina moderna con lavavajillas, una sala de estar grande y acogedora con sofá cama (200x160 cm), una encantadora habitación doble y un baño grande y hermoso con ducha a ras de suelo. El "Forno - Piano terra" tiene aire acondicionado y está amueblado con mucho cuidado y con piezas exclusivas.
Este apartamento también tiene una mesa y sillas de jardín y puede aprovechar un espacio reservado en el jardín delantero (uso exclusivo del apartamento).

Perfect place for peace and quiet

As soon as we stepped out of the car, we could feel the peace and calm of Borgo dei Fondi. The building is beautifully restored and maintained, as are the grounds. David is a gracious host with passion for the area and great tips for what to see and which restaurants to go to. He also made sure that we could easily find the property- it is really away from it all! We stayed in the ground floor apartment, which has to be the best one- it comes with private outdoor (covered) space, all we had to do was step out through the living room doors or bedroom doors and sit on the bench or the chairs and take in the beautiful property and Tuscan country side. The apartment has a nice kitchen that is very well equipped with quality cookware. We enjoyed the pool as well- large enough to have a proper swim. And everything surrounded by flowers and herbs. Nicely lit pathways in the evening. Our only regret was that we didn't book more nights here!

Außergewöhnlich

Das Ferienhaus liegt sehr ruhig und mitten in der Natur. Zum Einkaufen oder anderen Unternehmungen ist man mit dem Auto aber nach etwa 15 Minuten am Ziel. Sehr erholsam! Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und auch sonst hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir hatten einen schönen Sitzbereich auf dem Grundstück und haben alles sehr genossen. Hervorzuheben ist die freundliche Kommunikation, der tolle Empfang und die Begleitung unseres Gastgebers David während des Aufenthalts. Leider ist das Haus sehr hellhörig, was aber sicherlich der typischen Bauweise geschuldet ist. Volle Weiterempfehlung!

Great workation spot!

My girlfriend and myself stayed at Borgo dei Fondo for a week of workation in Tuscany. The apartment in the ground floor was super lovely and well equipped. The outside surroundings of the house are just beautiful and very well taken care of. We really enjoyed working from the gazebo and enjoying the lovely garden and pool during lunch breaks. As we were researching for places in Tuscany to work from, we were super happy as we found Borgo dei Fondi and David could assure as that we would be able to make use of a stable and secure internet connection, which did not disappoint. Especially working from the gazebo, the WiFi connection was stable enough for all our remote working needs - Zoom meetings, phone calls and data transfers, providing us with a very pleasant first workation experience. :) Special thanks to David who even supported us when we had car troubles on our way back home. We hope to come back soon!

Petit coin de paradis

Super accueil dans cette propriété du 17e rénovée avec soins... espace réservé pour le petit dej, cuisine bien équipée, piscine avec une belle terrasse en pleine nature... une base parfaite pour visiter la région. En arrivant le soir nous avons vu deux petits renards et un cerf qui broutait sur le parking. Chaudement recommandé !!!!

Lovingly restored farmhouse in quiet surroundings

We stayed 10 days for roadbiking. Eventhough for the gravel road to the house Mountainbikes would have been the better choice, the location was perfect as a starting point to explore the amazing surrounding landscapes. Coming back to the tranquil garden and enjoying the pool was a delight every day. Up to three parties share the big garden, but everyone has their own corner and therefore privacy is guaranteed. The "il Forno -ground floor" apartment is lovingly furnished and the kitchen is well equipped. David and Simona were very friendly and one can feel that they put their heart into this property.

Très bon séjour

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans l'appartement de Vittoria et David. L'appartement est agréable et tout à fait conforme aux photos. Nous avions d'ailleurs apprécié que chaque photo du site soit clairement attribuée à un des trois appartements. Les équipements sont en bon état et très bien entretenus. La situation est idéale pour visiter le sud de la Toscane et même pour des balades à pied en partant de la maison. Seul bémol, peut-être un peu trop isolé hors saison quand les autres appartements sont vides.

A wonderful stay at I'l Forno

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your very comfortable farmhouse apartment - I'l Forno- in the lovely Tuscany Region. The setting was beautiful and the apartment was very comfortable. We prepared meals in the kitchen and enjoyed the modern bath complete with the radiator for a warm morning setting. Vittoria was most helpful in getting us situated and was flexible with our 7 PM arrival time.This was a big help. Mrs. Landi kindly delivered a new coffee maker after we found a crack in the original one. Along with her father David they were most helpful in directing us to a nearby medical clinic to attend to some first aid items. We enjoyed meeting the whole family Suggestions for local touring were also very helpful. We would be happy to return for another visit.

Tranquility at its finest in this historic villa.

It was like going back in time. Remote but not isolated. Close to Siena and a lot of other places that were easily accessible but once done touring around it was so wonderful to come back to this beautiful, quiet piece of paradise. Interior of our apartment was complete with everything we needed. Loved the antique furniture which gave it a lovely ambience. The bathroom was very modern which was really neat. We totally would come back and spend more time. Two nights was just not enough to enjoy this place! David was such a gracious host directing us to the property, insuring we were completely settled, and answering all of our many questions and welcomed us with a lovely bottle of red wine from the region. We highly recommend this place!

Wundervoll!

Wir haben im Mai 2017 10 wunderbare Tage in der Ferienwohnung Il Forno - Borgo dei Fondi verbracht. Die Wohnung ist optimal für 2 Personen. Alles ist sehr gepflegt und die Ausstattung der Küche ist sehr gut! Umgeben von einem traumhaften Garten mit schönen Sitzgelegenheiten, haben wir die Zeit sehr genossen! Von David und seiner Frau Simona wurden wir mit interessanten Tipps für Ausflüge in die Umgebung versorgt. Die Betreuung war super! Vielen Dank nochmal. Jederzeit kommen wir gerne wieder.

Quiet and secluded villa in Tuscany

We contacted Vitoria on very short notice due to a late cancellation on our already booked accommodation . Victoria accepted our booking on the same day and arranged to meet us at a designated location so we could follow her to the villa in the countryside outside of Sienna. She even suggested to stop at the supermarket on the way as there are no shops close to the villa. We stayed in the ground floor apartment which is very comfortable and cosy. It is a newly renovated apartment with all the comforts of home. We enjoyed the quiet relaxing atmosphere after spending the days out sightseeing. We enjoyed it so much we stayed a extra night. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it. Thank you Vitoria and David for your warm hospitality. Bob and Linda

excellente location, perfect !

Nous avons passé huit jours merveilleux en Toscane. Cette maison est un droit idéal pour se reposer et se ressourcer après des journées passées à parcourir la région. En voiture, Sienne est à 15mn, le Chianti à 20mn, San Gimignano à 50mn, Florence et Pienza à environ 1h. L'appartement Il Forno est situé au rez-de-chaussée, il ouvre sur le jardin qui est immense et boisé. L'appartement est spacieux, confortable, bien équipé, décoré avec goût.

Un séjour mémorable en Toscane!

Notre première visite en Toscane et nous avons été séduits sur toute la ligne : En pleine nature, parfait pour les ornithologues amateurs, Sienne et supermarché à 15 minutes, espace très intime avec terrasse privée, belle piscine et vues à couper le souffle, jardins fabuleux (merci à Somina pour tout son travail). Très bien situé pour des visites d’une journée dans les environs : Florence, San Gimignano, Montepulciano, le Chianti, Volterra, Arezzo, etc. Accueil chaleureux de nos hôtes Vittoria, David et Simona. Passionnés de leur région, ils nous ont très bien conseillés pour des visites, resto et vignobles. Ils ont été toujours disponibles pour toutes questions, et ce, même très tard le soir. L’appartement est fidèle aux photos du site web : confortable, super tranquille, propre, entièrement rénové (cuisine, salle de bain, etc) et bien insonorisé, cuisine très bien équipée et lits confortables. Seul regret : séjour trop court! Merci à la famille Landi pour ces souvenirs mémorables de la Toscane.

Absolutely gorgeous

My wife and I stayed for one week in this wonderful apartment. Although the weather was not so good we had a fantastic time in the Tuscany. The apartment was really great, it was very good equipped, absolutely clean and totally renovated only a few months ago. Cooking in the kitchen was a pleasure, because everything needed was available, like gas stove with 4 burner, electric furnace, microwave, dishwasher, big refrigerator with separate freezer and a great variety of pots, pans and dishes. The property was very sophisticated with many nice trees, bushes and flowers in an absolute quiet and lovely scenery. You can really see the great effort to keep the property in that good condition. The apartment, the property and the landscape had everything you need for a relaxing and dreamlike holiday. The location near Siena – the heart of the Tuscany – was one of the main reasons to book this apartment. From the property you can reach most of the best places in the Tuscany in each direction, like Siena (15min), Florence and Volterra (1 h), Pisa and Lucca (less than 2 hours), San Gimingnanon (less than 1 h)and all of the nice small towns of the Crete (less than one hour). The landlords of this apartment, Vittoria and her father David are really nice people. Vittoria gave us a very good explanation where we can find everything in the nearby area. She gave us a lot of maps with tips to find everything we need in the area of Siena. The communication with her via Email and SMS was without complications and every question was answered directly. Unfortunately we had to leave the apartment after one week - when our holiday ended. We wished to stay there for more days because we enjoyed this week so much! But we are sure that we come back in a hopefully not too far future! Thank you Vittoria and your family!!! Heike and Roman

Lovely apartment in quiet forest area

We were the first visitors to stay in this apartment as it had only just been completed. It is modern and clean, although the whole building was centuries old. It was well equipped, and a few little things that were not present were very quickly provided by David. The surroundings were delightful,very peaceful, lovely gardens and forest but the apartment was within only 10 minutes of Siena (finding the apartment the first time was a little tricky but the GPS helped). The pool was great and would be wonderful for families. The bed was satisfactory, and the apartment was very spacious for the two of us. Some noise was caused by the occupants of the apartment above, but for the time we were there it wasn't too disruptive. David was a very welcoming host, who gave us a map of the area and made suggestions of restaurants in the area (all of them were fantastic!) and places that we might like to visit. We had a great time here. We highly recommend this apartment for anyone wanting a quiet rural area.

Wonderful appartment in fanatstic scenery

My wife and I stayed in the brand-new renovated apartment on the ground floor for one week and simply enjoyed every day. Just 20-30 minutes away from Siena by car this apartment is located in a very quite rural area. It is perfectly equipped with a modern kitchen, bathroom, living room and sleeping room that has a large double bed. For two persons it is very spacious and there is no need to bring any kitchen utensils - it's all there including microwave and dish washer. Wi-Fi is also availabe and very reliable and fast. On the estate you find a nice swimming pool and some shady areas with chairs and tables. All very clean and well maintained. The host family cordially welcomed us upon arrival, gave us valuable tips what to do in Siena, Florence etc. and was always reachable if needed. Very friendly contact! We will certainly come again.

restful , relaxing beautiful setting

A very comfortable stay in a very well equipped apartment. The farmhouse sits in a quiet natural forested area less that 10 Km from Sienna so it was easy to get in and out of the city, we shopped on the edge of sienna (nice and easy). David Simone and Vittorio were so helpful and kind ,going the extra mile to ensure we had the best stay. David had a good knowledge and history of the area and Vittoria helped to point us in the right direction for places of interest of which there were lots and also recommended good restaurants. Unlike many pools this one was a good depth and provided a welcome respite from the midday sun, a large garden allowed for space if needed from other guests The surrounding forests were full of wildlife and a big treat for us was to watch at close proximity in the garden two fox cubs playing - how good is that Many thanks once again and we hope to be back.

Nous avons loué pendant 2 semaines l'appartement l'Olivo dont l'aménagement venait de se terminer. Il a été aménagé au rdc de la propriété qui dispose de 2 autres appartements. Il est décoré avec beaucoup de goût et des matériaux très qualitatifs et dispose de tout l'équipement et confort nécessaires pour passer d'excellentes vacances à 4 personnes. Au calme, la propriété est située à une dizaine de km de Sienne et permet rapidement de rayonner sur toute la Toscane. Les propriétaires, charmants, vous donneront d'ailleurs plein de bonnes idées pour visiter leur région. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et recommandons cette adresse qui peut accueillir une ou plusieurs familles.
